how many cycles in are you Biscuits, if you don’t mind me asking?

Sorry I hope that post didn’t make people roll their eyes and think ‘You’ve only done one cycle so of course you don’t need emotional support’ 😬 hope it didn’t sound thoughtless! Just meant I’m going to obsess in private for now but may well share with him if we don’t have any luck in a few cycles time.

I don’t talk to DH about any of this - he doesn’t even know I do OPKs, I don’t tell him when I test etc. I don’t feel emotionally I need the support yet, and to be honest I think it will help our chances if at least one of us is relaxed and not obsessing over the charting etc. That said we’ve only ttc one cycle, that may well change if we don’t get a BFP for a while!

@Charl881 i just tell myself any sibling is lovely, it doesn’t need to be your classic 2.5 year age gap - I think DD would be made up to have a sibling at any age! Probably not 16 though lol. There are a few pluses however, we won’t be dealing with 2 lots of nursery fees at once, or 2 lots of nappies if I can get my butt in gear about toilet training DD! ♥️

Oh absolutely, I've seen/heard the same. I know I can get stressed over things just because it's who I am, so stick-peeing and ovulation maths etc just wouldn't work for me. And I can't think of anything my DP would find more offputting than, "Oh but we HAVE to do it tonight because [insert science]..!"

@Organictangerine @BiscuitLover3678 i massively over analyse the age gap, I think that’s why I’m finding TTC #2 mentally tougher than number one! If we had conceived the first month of trying I’d be due about now so I just keep thinking what a perfect gap that would be, but I’m sure each age gap has it’s pros and cons.

I didn’t track using OPKs this month and I’m cursing because now I think I might have ovulated later than I thought and stopped DTD too soon. But we were on holiday so it was a case of just doing it when we could!

@BiscuitLover3678 @BanjoVio I'm glad I'm not the only one! I like to work out roughly when my ovulation will happen but literally just going to DTD every night (where possible) up until ovulation and see what happens.. the amount of people I know and stories of people TTC that are tracking everything and still weren't getting their BFP then stopped the tracking and relaxed a bit more then it worked is unreal! Just really trying to take that approach first (don't get me wrong I still track every single symptom I get during the TWW) these threads are a god send to get you through haha xx

Hi all, can I join?

CD11 today (or CD12, I didn’t have a heavy period this month and didn’t include the first day as I thought it was more spotting 🤷🏼‍♀️) I got my peak yesterday morning and can currently feel ovulation pain on my right side so tomorrow will be 1DPO. I’d be due around 6th Feb. TTC #2 DD is almost 3.

We DTD last night, the night before and two nights before that. Do you think that’s enough or should we DTD again tonight?

How old is your little one Biscuit? DD is nearly 3, so keep doing the mental maths as to how old she would be when number 2 might be born. Don’t want it to be 4 years+ 😢

This is so refreshing to hear! I really don't want to do the ovulation testing and tracking and whatever else either. I know I'd obsess over it and it's all become mechanical/routine. I want romance and excitement!

I have had mild stomach cramping past few days which feel like period pains but more in the middle of my stomach below my belly button. I’m not due on for 6/7 days but I don’t think I normally get these pains until the day before my period. It’s more like a dull ache. Stupidly did an internet cheap test this morning which of course was a BFN.

I tried to be much calmer this month and just wait to see if my period turns up (who am I kidding?!)

Hopping over from January, would just sneak into February if I conceived this month as due date would be 2nd or 3rd Feb. Think I am 1 or 2 dpo at the moment.

Hi everyone! I’m starting TTC #1 this month. CD2 here. But had my implant out on 28/04 started tracking OPK’s with a peak at day 7 and then CD1 came 8 days later. So waiting to see what happens this month! Fingers crossed a more normal cycle

Hi all! Feeling ready and exciting about this month. I'm currently on CD9. If we conceive this month, due date would be Valentines Day which I am feeling tbh! That would be awesome! This is my 4th month TTC number 2. First two months we used that gender sway method of trying for a girl which I don't recommend because I think it just totally ruined our chances because of the timing 😂😂 last month I only managed to DTD once during fw because me and dh were both away and missing each other! So this is the month!! Come on ladies!!!!

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining. I am currently 5 dpo (I think?!). This is cycle number 2 trying for our 1st but I am not holding out much hope this month.

Due to work commitments we only DTD the day before a peak clear blue ovulation test and the day of it then 3 days later. Bit gutted as I wanted to try more but partner was too tired.

Hi all! Moving over from the January group!

We're trying for baby #1 on cycle 2, day 8 today - hopefully will ovulate next weekend 🫣. Just going to DTD at much as we poss can over the next two weeks! I don't want to get too caught up in all the ov testing and tracking if I can help it!

If we conceive this cycle due date would be around 11th February! :)

I too am planning to try SMEP this cycle coming, so we can compare notes (and exhaustion! Haha!)
