Hey peeps ovulated today - anyone in the same boat and hoping for a BFP in mid May? Thought we could do the 2ww together x

Hi - I just got worried that it was going to turn into everyone testing and I got anxious.

I wish I hadn't said anything now. I didn't know how to communicate how I was feeling without sounding like an arse 🤦🏻‍♀️

I agree with you @catlady10. I did have every intention of holding off but I'm sure we can all empathise with how hard that is at times! I am on a few other threads but will be sure to continue to keep an eye on this one and update when I do eventually test again ☺️

@41andtryingforfirst I absolutely did not want you or anybody to feel pressured into early testing by any means and apologise if this has made you feel like that. I wish I had as much will power as some of you other ladies!!

Continue to send best wishes to everybody 🥰

Cat2hop · 06/05/2022 13:18

@catlady10 - you are on for pact. Although I'm feeling a bit crampy today so now just expecting AF to come tomorrow or next day. Is due 9th and if I test it will be 11th or 12th.
Hoping for BFPs for all.

catlady10 · 06/05/2022 13:10

Hi @41andtryingforfirst

I understand where you're coming from but I think these ladies had the intention to test around 14th and have caved early, I'm sure no one meant to upset anyone or trigger anyone in a negative way ☺️ I won't be testing until the 14th so I will be here for that day and hoping we all get our BFPs 💪🏼❤️

@Fifi1086 I can definitely see something there 🤞🏼 test again in a few days for sure 🥰 and if you do move onto a different thread please tag me as I'd love to see how you get on! Same to you @S0220 🥰

Baby dust to everyone xxx

Fifi1086 · 06/05/2022 11:06

I think I've just been reminded as to why I haven't posted on MN for a year.

Best of luck to everyone and sending you all baby dust!

41andtryingforfirst · 06/05/2022 11:02

Hi all. I'm going to sound like an arse now and I don't mean to, but....

I started this thread as a support for people in more or less the same 2ww so we could be a support whilst we waited to test. There are so many threads where people test from 8dpo onwards and I find it puts pressure on me to test and is bad for my well-being. That's what this space is intended for.

I'm thrilled for those with early BFPs but I don't want this thread to become like the others. By all means symptom spot and chat about how you feel but if you want to be an early tester can you move to a different thread please?

Thanks in advance and baby dust to you all xxxx

@Fifi1086 I can see something really faint but first response have been terrible for indents for me, give it two days (if you can hold off!) and let us know how you get on!

I had the worst bloating yesterday, my tummy was swollen to about 3 times it’s size and period like cramps but nothing happened - I’m struggling with my pcos symptoms generally but I looked back to my tracking when I fell pregnant in December and I recorded the exact same symptoms!

I do think I missed my window however (damn work trip!) has anyone ever ovulated later than normal after a positive opk? Xxx

S0220 · 06/05/2022 09:56

@Fifi1086 I am sure I can see a faint line and I'm usually rubbish at these!!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

LemonZestDribbles · 06/05/2022 09:45

@Fifi1086 I can definitely seen something but not confident enough to say it's not an ident - frer have been so bad lately - very exciting though 😍😍😍

@S0220 squee got everything crossed for you 🤞🤞 love a toddler cuddle 🥺🥺

S0220 · 06/05/2022 09:41

@catlady10 thank you! I'll definitely keep you all posted!

@LemonZestDribbles I'm doing okay thanks for asking. Boobs are in absolute agony though which was the biggest giveaway when I was pregnant with my first so I'm hoping this is a good thing! And you're right about the tiredness - that was my other biggest sign! Me and my toddler both fell asleep in bed at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon 🤦🏽‍♀️ completely unintentional but it was lovely to have a little 20 minute cuddle 🥹
10 dpo today and I have a busy day at work followed by a nail appointment later so hopefully too busy to think about testing! Really going to try and hold off until Sunday (12dpo) 🤞🏽

How is everybody feeling this morning? ☺️

Fifi1086 · 06/05/2022 09:40

So I just got the faintest of faint lines on a FR. admittedly I have the worlds worse line eyes but I can see something - doesn't mean it isn't an indent though. I'm 9 DPO, why do I do this to myself 😂😂 and to make it worse boots had a buy one get one free on preg tests so now I have FOUR.

I know no one will be able to see but I attached pic anyway!

Testing around 14th May
LemonZestDribbles · 06/05/2022 09:16

@Organictangerine @41andtryingforfirst 12dpo is a great plan! I got a really clear bfp on 12dpo with ds. Only tested as I was very sure I was pregnant. I'll no doubt change my mind by next week though 🤣

@S0220 how you feeling today? 🤞🤞🤞

@Oystercatcher so sorry about your cp ❤

I'm knackered today. Could fall asleep on the sofa right now if I wasn't getting used as a motorway by ds and his toot toot cars. I'd say it was a potential symptom but I think the week is just catching up with me 😴😴

Oystercatcher · 06/05/2022 05:29

Can I join too? Ovulate soon (I think). 3rd crying for #1! I had a miscarriage CP last month at 5 weeks last month, so I am not sure if I will have a regular cycle this month, but have been doing lots of BD just in case!

I'm sorry for your loss @Oystercatcher 💐

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a regular cycle for you and throw lots of baby dust your way ✨ ❤️xx

catlady10 · 06/05/2022 07:32

@S0220 oooh how exciting! I definitely see a line there 🥹 I'd say leave off a digital for a few days as I've heard they're not very sensitive! Keep us posted please 🙏🏼

@Cat2hop @41andtryingforfirst I'm willing to make a pact 🙅🏻‍♀️ I am not testing before 14th as AF is due on 13th! It will be hard but I'm determined!

@ElleBelleLou Im not sure I see it yet lovely but keep testing and keep us posted 🥰xx

Cat2hop · 06/05/2022 02:43

I'm holding out til testing until day 3 or so after AF due! I've seen the average bHCG levels at various gestations somewhere and they can be pretty different so even week 5 you might be a person that has low levels and get a false negative. I guess if AF comes that's that but I don't want to disappoint myself! Really hoping I don't get an early arrival over the weekend 🤞🤞🤞
First pregnancy I tested at 4 days late and had a really faint positive and then retested 2 days later and it was very positive.

Organictangerine · 05/05/2022 22:49

@41andtryingforfirst @LemonZestDribbles Im trying to avoid testing until 12dpo - another 9 days. I got a very early positive with my daughter (I think around 8dpo) but I don’t want to assume that would happen again. It’s so hard not to test! 12dpo is a Saturday, so at least I can celebrate or drown my sorrows a little either way.

41andtryingforfirst · 05/05/2022 22:49

@LemonZestDribbles totally agree! This month I'm determined to be chilled x

OP posts:
LemonZestDribbles · 05/05/2022 22:43

@41andtryingforfirst me too. I'd obsess with torches and contrast etc and it just breaks your heart when you convince yourself you see something and af comes. Easier to wait for af or until you'd hopefully have a clear line. We can do this!!

41andtryingforfirst · 05/05/2022 22:27

@LemonZestDribbles that's good to hear! Thought we could help each other be strong - I get too stressed out and despondent by testing early x

OP posts:
LemonZestDribbles · 05/05/2022 22:25

@41andtryingforfirst I'm with you on trying to not test before. I'll be staying at my parents at the end of next week so won't be able to then anyway 🤣

@S0220 looks very much like a line 🥳🥳🥳 id avoid the digital until past af was due though

41andtryingforfirst · 05/05/2022 22:12

@S0220 clear blue digital are less sensitive than FRER X

OP posts:
S0220 · 05/05/2022 22:08

Ahh thank you all! I'm thinking mine may be an evap given that it took longer than it should have to show.

@ElleBelleLou I think I can see something but it's hard to tell!

My hubby went out to buy more tests earlier, he only managed to get his hands on the clear blue digital rather than FRER's. Are they more or less sensitive than FRER's does anybody know? 😊

JaneGnR88 · 05/05/2022 22:02

@S0220 I can see a line! But equally I’ve recently had some awful indents with those ones but keeping everything crossed for you!

@ElleBelleLou same I can see a very faint line but again it’s hard to say if it’s an indent or evap, but you’re so so early it could be something!

You’ll all have to let me know how you get on, @Fifi1086 you too!

I’m about 7/8 DPO now, but think I missed my window this month, however i’ll test in a few days I think!

Fifi1086 · 05/05/2022 21:42

@S0220 oh I definitely see something, impossible to say if indent or not as I've had some nasty indents with FR but maybe test again tomorrow or sat?

@ElleBelleLou I think I see a shadow? But I've the worst line eyes ever haha

I've sort of half told myself now I might test tomorrow. I have no chill. If it's negative which no doubt it will be at 9dpo I will hold off until Sunday to use the second one
