Testing around 14th May

@Oystercatcher That's funny about your GP DH, I'm a HCP too I think until I joined Mumsnet if someone had mentioned CM to me I'd be the same! My DP also thinks I'm getting obsessed 🙃

I'm loving all your symptom spotting I'm so excited for next weekend when we're all going to be testing even if it's not my month I'll be so happy for any BFPs in this thread 😃

I'm 8DPO today and still feeling nothing. No cramps or twinges or heavy boobs. I'm fairly certain I'm not pregnant this month which is definitely helping with my pact to hold off testing 🤣

I've got lots going on this week so hopefully I won't think about it too much until the weekend 🥰

So fingers crossed for me, I had the faintest trace of pink in some CM when I wiped last night that hasn't turned into anything else overnight (definitely not a usual occurrence)...AF is predicted tmw but arrival varies 2-3 days... I'm 12dpo

My cramps have gone again now and still no bleeding, so frustrating because I get fooled all
the time by pcos symptoms but we shall see!

@41andtryingforfirst I’m watch bgt, she was amazing! Me and my partner just looked at each other in shock as soon as she opened her mouth!

I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant last cycle as AF was a really weird one for me but obviously wasn’t meant to be, fingers crossed we get there this month, if not I feel like I’m ready to give up xx

Hope everyone is having lovely Saturdays! I’m curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle as my cramps and horrid - I’m only due on Thursday going off my LH but I never bloody know! (No pun intended!)

I’m 8dpo today, I’m so nervous about testing as I’ve been burnt by the indents so many times and also picked up on a chemical!

AF is due in 4 days so I’m hoping I can hold off until I’m actually late, which is also a nightmare as my last couple of cycles have been a few days late, sometimes even a week😬

I’m cramping a bit today which isn’t filling me with much hope and these are pretty normal af symptoms for me! Fingers crossed this is my month after 13 long ones!!x

11dpo for me today. Biggest symptoms I'm noticing at the moment is very heavy boobs (can't even walk down the stairs without being uncomfortable) and tiredness. Also my husband said last night in bed that I seem a lot warmer as in my body temp! Tbh my boobs did feel like they were on fire 😂

Going to try and keep busy over the weekend and not think about testing. Will aim to hold off until Monday if I can. I have two FRER's and two CB digitalis waiting in the cupboard for me!

@Organictangerine heres hoping it's a good sign for us this month 🤞😊 I'm trying to be realistic this cycle, but I did Google it yesterday and found an old thread where cramping this early led to a couple of bfps! Of course then there were also stories where it didn't 😂😂 the more I get my hopes up the harder it will be to wait to test.

Me too @Rosegold3112 i am 5dpo and have had some odd cramps today, which don’t normally happen. Sort of one-sided and squeezy if that makes sense?! I’m wondering if it’s implantation cramping?

this is only cycle 1 for me. I was lucky enough to conceive my daughter in cycle 1 so I’m trying not to expect the same thing second time round and manage my expectations.

Ttc is such an emotional time. I find it difficult to roll with the hope and disappointment sometimes and completely sympathise with any of you ladies finding the 2ww tough. I felt really optimistic this week, then yesterday at 5dpo I had some odd cramps. I know it's too early for it to be anything either way but it did feel a little like a rain on my parade. I'm so useless at self control as well but aiming to test no earlier than 12dpo which is the 13th for me. Hope the sun is shining for all of you where ever you are and we can all find some fun ways to keep our minds off those test sticks today! If it helps, seems like everyone here should be around half way through 🎉🎉

@catlady10 I asked my DH this question since he is a GP. He looked at me like I was crazy/grossed out by mention of CM! I think he’s concerned I’m getting a bit obsessed. Glad I’m not the only one!

@Oystercatcher I also wonder about this, like sometimes I think... where did it go? But someone told me that the swimmers get released from the rest of the fluid pretty sharpish and can make it to where they need to go! X

@41andtryingforfirst Aw I'm sorry you've been anxious 😢 I feel the same in a way! And let's be honest it feels like some sort of weird marathon and everyone wants to cross the finish line and when you see people ahead of you crossing the finish line and you're struggling it makes you doubt yourself and think damn I'm not going to make it! 🤣 that's how I feel anyway 🤣

Anyway I'm day 6PO today and I feel nothing. Zero. Apart from tired from struggling to sleep last night and feeling a bit sicky because I had a couple of drinks last night before dinner 🙊 but I honestly think it's the wine and not a brewing bean 🫣 is this too early to feel anything?

In my experience it’s mostly gone after a couple of wees, 1 day tops.

Maybe this is why I see so many recs for ovusense!

I have a silly TMI question, hopefully it will give you a bit of a laugh at least.

My question is about EWCM/CM. This is a bit rude but, how do you tell the difference between CM and, ahem... leftovers from BD?

Before my DH were TTC we were using withdrawal method so I don't have much experience with this. I remember there were times of the month where discharge was different than usual.

Now we have been try to DTD every other day. And afterward, sometimes I feel like his "contribution" just disappears, like where did it go? And then a day later I have watery discharge and I am left wondering, is this ovulation or...?

@41andtryingforfirst I guess that's why we have forums such as this, to support one another and share the highs and lows of our journeys!

How are you feeling otherwise? Any particular signs or symptoms happening for you? X

@41andtryingforfirst completely see where you are coming from and I'd never want to make anybody feel anxious especially over something like TTC! I blame myself for being the first one to cave and test early. I need the rest of you to keep me strong 😂
