Testing around 14th May

Morning ladies! Total stark white neg with a Superdrug test FMU 9dpo. FRERs arriving later but I don’t think this is my month. Just want my period to arrive & crack on with cycle 2! Perhaps more than 1 shag the day after my peak might do it 😂

Went to test this morning at 12DPO, used a cheapie, did not read the instructions, and got an invalid result 🤦‍♀️ and had already thrown away the sample. That’ll be the universe telling me to hang on a bit longer I guess…

I’ve done a frer this morning and it’s definitely negative! I’m surprisingly okay about it tho, at least I know now x

@IsThisRealLife12 I had a good result on a similar strip test with ds when I was 13dpo so looks good eeek!!

@41andtryingforfirst Everyone a bit different! First pregnancy I had few symptoms, just a bit bloaty, until week 6 and then I felt gross, tired and hungover until 2nd trimester started. Apart from resolving thrush I feel otherwise no different currently so kinda hopeful I miss the first trimester sicky symptoms (🤞given everything runs smooth) and enjoying this symptom free time (but certainly makes it seem less real)

@Chlo1995 I feel you. I hate this will it won't it - I've even tested after AF because AF seemed much lighter than I'm used to. It's mostly the possible hope maybe it still is even though kind of thinking - drives you totally mad. The spotting and stopping though sounds very irregular.
@S0220 - I'm sorry, I thought you were on track for BFP too :(

Thank you for responding. I feel the same as you do. I've just ordered a FRER, it'll arrive tomorrow. The pictures I've uploaded are of 1 test.

I have no choice but to wait and see. I may still get my period and it's all much ado about nothing.

I’m surprised that a strip test would pick up that early as I usually read about only FRER picking up at 10dpo or before. But on 2 tests it would be a coincidence if they were both false positives!

Not yet, my period isn't due until the end of the week so I was going to do one then. According to my dates, I'm barely 3 weeks so I'm a bit surprised the strip test has picked it up this soon.
Are these tests less accurate? I'm trying not to get too wrapped up in premature excitement, especially because I had a miscarriage in March.

So lovely to catch up on everyones news :)

Congratulations to all of the BFP's and my love and hugs to those that haven't had that news yet.

I've had terribly sore boobs and felt very bloated and niggly. My period isn't due until the 14th but I've tested tonight....
I'm only 10dpo at this stage. I haven't even said anything to my DH yet.

I hope the picture I'm attaching comes up.

I’ve got more FRER arriving tomorrow by Amazon prime so I will aim for tomorrow evening after a looooong hold. My mother in law told me about the ‘olden days’ before home tests, they had to skip 2 periods to get a test at the doctors. To think I’m stressing about having to wait until 12dpo 😆

@Organictangerine I can see it on the non-frer test. Worth another try in the morning?

I will do! I honestly tried not to get in my own head this time, I feel we may have missed it because we dtd on peak day and a few random days throughout my cycle so I can’t imagine it’ll be a great outcome but we can hope x

I feel irrationally defeated given this is cycle number 1. I conceived DD on cycle 1 so I guess part of me expected the same again although we only DTD once this cycle!

@Organictangerine you're not the only one! I’ve just been to boots and bought more, as if I don’t have enough stashed away already😂 my period is due tomorrow but I wouldn’t be surprised if it came late! My cycle can vary by a few days and the last 2 have been 31 days, but the cycle before that it was 35! Absolute nightmare, I’d just rather it come now and then I’m not second guessing everything x

Ohhh. So just as confused as me with my faint positive test followed by negative FRER 😂 I know I should wait another couple of days but I may or may not have just popped to Superdrug for more tests.. although I’ve told myself that next cycle the madness has to stop and I need to wait for my period etc. So hard!

@Organictangerine no worries! I’m 11dpo (as far as I’m aware😂) I tested yesterday morning and had what I thought was a faint positive, a couple of my friends and a few on another site I posted to saw it too so I knew it wasn’t just me but this morning completed negative! I’ve been having brown spotting on and off literally since an hour after yesterday’s test😬 the spotting has stopped now though and I’m not cramping which is bizarre because I usually get them bad when af is due🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m very confused😂x

How odd Chlo. Sorry I can’t remember if you’ve tested and what CD or dpo you are? Is it worth testing anyway?
