Fingers crossed for you @Nyxxie how long is your luteal phase usually? X

Nyxxie · 21/04/2022 13:20

Jumping across to the new thread. 7dpo here and trying my best not to symptom spot! Also got my fingers crossed for a longer luteal phase this time (if not a BFP!)

@Brightonbelle87 sounds promising! 😃

Dreamingof3 · 21/04/2022 12:21

@Brightonbelle87 gentle congrats 🥰 everything crossed for stronger lines and no AF next week xx

tryingtryinggone · 21/04/2022 11:15

@Brightonbelle87 tentative congratulations! Any pictures? I love checking out squinters! Haha

Cherrymarket · 21/04/2022 10:16

@Anonymouslyposting very similar boat! I also wonder if it was partially the pandemic pregnancy, and post natal experience that contributes to it. Obviously I will prep my family this time to be on alert for an intervention, but I’m hoping no pandemic and a non winter baby (if we are lucky) will make a big difference…? Hopeful thinking x

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 10:07

@Anonymouslyposting that is very exciting! PND is awful so I can see why you'd be nervous. At least this time you'll know the signs and those around you will too. I know I'd speak out quicker to get medication quicker this time if needed.

Anonymouslyposting · 21/04/2022 10:06

@Cherrymarket mine is also 18 months - sounds like we are in the same boat! I’m hoping the shock will be less as I have a vague idea what I’m doing now but that’s rational non-depressed me thinking rather than post-natal me…

Cherrymarket · 21/04/2022 09:53

@Anonymouslyposting hi and welcome. I completely feel you there. I had quite bad post natal anxiety initially with my DD, she is 18months now. Pregnancy and birth was fine but I’m nervous about the newborn stage. How old is your little one?

it feels like a really big deal to try for another!

WingingIt09 · 21/04/2022 09:38

@Brightonbelle87 whispering congratulations! Fingers crossed for you.

Agree with the pill taking agrea to regulate. Back in 2019 when I came off it was all over the place with 7 days luteal phase and weird periods. I've been using that hana pill for last year and since I'm off that it's been clockwork 2 weeks between ov and af. Very weird! But I'm happy

@lj2022 I used the Angus castus before. Worked really well.

@Brightonbelle87 eeeeee! That's so exciting 🤞🤞🤞

Anonymouslyposting · 21/04/2022 09:26

Hi everyone, can I join?

We are going to start TTC number 2 next month, just waiting for AF to come and go then will get going. Pregnancy 1 was relatively smooth but I’ve struggled with PND after my DD so am slightly (very) terrified of going again.

Good luck to everyone (and fingers crossed that @Brightonbelle87‘s line keeps getting stronger!)

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 07:14

Yay it's working Smile hello again everyone!

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful hope you are okay x

@Brightonbelle87 yay! Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Cherrymarket · 21/04/2022 07:12

@Brightonbelle87 ooh fingers crossed for you, will you test any more or wait til Monday?

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful good on you for prioritising health, I wish you luck in the future

thanks for all the welcomes!

Nypie · 20/04/2022 22:53

@Brightonbelle87 ohh sorry I missed this a tentative yaay and congrats. Sore boobs for the win. Remind me of your journey please! And fingers tightly crossed for your rainbow bean.

Nypie · 20/04/2022 22:48

@lj2022 sorry its been 5 months it must wear thin very quick. I'm trying to tell myself currently that it's normal to take 6 months to conceive trying to think why that would be a great date around mothers day would be a great way to tell my own mum I'm hoping that will stop me from getting to disappointed but we'll see! It's not unnormal for it to take a year but thats still not exactly comforting. What does angus cactus do? Wishing you all the baby dust! Odds say not long now.

Brightonbelle87 · 20/04/2022 22:43

Great to see the new thread and welcome newbies! So many of us on the journey at all different stages, good luck to everyone trying and testing!

Little update... I've been very impatient and tested again this afternoon even though AF isn't due until Monday and... there's a very faint positive line!! So happy but very cautious. I'll fully believe it next week when AF doesn't start, and don't want to get carried away when I had a miscarriage last time at 6 weeks. Fingers crossed!

lj2022 · 20/04/2022 20:52

@Nypie I agree it takes longer than 3 months. I came off in December and although they've regulated
To around 26-28 day cycles I know I'm not fully regulated hormone wise. I'm taking Angus castus to help regulate my hormones and hopefully get a BFP sooner. I wish I came off contraception before trying like you have done to give my body a better chance as it's now getting to the stage of disappointment after 5 cycles of BFP so far

Nypie · 20/04/2022 20:47

@appleandonion 👋👋👋 I came off the pill which I've been on for 10 plus years last september and we plan to Ttc this September. Im so happy I did, I've bern using natural cycles as a contraception have learnt so much about my cycles and I still feel lile my cycles havent completley gone back to "normal" they are regular but there very light this cycles has been medium so far 🤞🤞🤞. They say it takes about 3 months for your cycles to regulate after the pill personally think they lie 😂😂 but some conceive straight away!

Dreamingof3 · 20/04/2022 20:37

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful I hope you're ok! Definitely makes sense to put health (mental or otherwise) First. Wishing you all the best ❤️

Welcome to our newbies 🥰
I came off the pill at the start of the year and have been tracking my cycles since, hoping to try next cycle 🤞

Nypie · 20/04/2022 20:09

Ahhh I thought I lost you all 😭

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful so glad you're looking after the mental health it's so important. Hope to hear from you soon!

BlueberryMacaron · 20/04/2022 19:58

lj2022 · 20/04/2022 19:45

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful wishing you all the best sometimes other things just take priority and mental health is definitely one of them! X

WingingIt09 · 20/04/2022 19:43
