@Dreamingof3 my 2 year old was also talking about me having a baby in my tummy yesterday - cheers kid! Just the body confidence booster I needed 😂😂 My day has improved, they are now both having quiet time after lunch before we go out to a belated Easter party.

Not even pregnant yet and I've got a potential problem with plans and hiding a pregnancy 😂 I'd agreed to go to legoland with one of DD1s nursery friends and her Mum in May. Mum has just messaged to say she can't do the agreed date and can we move it to June... if I fall pregnant first cycle I'll be 4/5 weeks pregnant on the suggested date and all the rides Dd1 will want to go on need me to accompany her and aren't suitable for pregnant women 😳 how do I get around that?

@LemonZestDribbles yes nearly the weekend and DHs can tag team with us!

@Brightonbelle87 keepin my fingers crossed that AF stays away for you

Good luck to anyone else in TWW and testing soon xx

@Anonymouslyposting & @Cherrymarket I found the first year of having my first DC really difficult and in hindsight I probably had PND, didn't help that I had little support and my XH was a dick plus DS had terrible reflux. Anyway, DC2 was a much more difficult baby but I felt so much more myself than first time round, so I wanted to reassure you both that just because you had PND before doesn't mean you'll get it again. I found 1-2 so much easier than 0-1.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It is so reassuring as i do genuinely worry about it, and it taking away from my first child too.

I am hoping 1-2 is easier! 🤞

Dreamingof3 · 22/04/2022 12:23

My lovely 2 year old wouldn't go to bed last night and I looked at my other half and said are we mad to want another 😅

She also said mummy you've got a baby in your tummy, then pushed on it and said see, it's all bug and squishy....charming 😳 and my 5 year old came home from school and told me she'd drawn a family picture but in the picture she'd put a baby in my belly!!

Cherrymarket · 22/04/2022 11:50

@WingingIt09 its like they know what you’re contemplating!!
hope the day improves…
DH has said let’s just go from next month so I’m just waiting for period to arrive then we will be trying… feels a bit surreal.it took about 3 months last time though so not expecting anything, particularly with shift work!
@LemonZestDribbles glad I’m not the only nervous one, yay for DH sharing the tantrum load 😂

good luck @Nyxxie and @Brightonbelle87 and anyone else in the TWW

LemonZestDribbles · 22/04/2022 10:57

@Nypie good luck with your appointment today!

@WingingIt09 I'm also feeling nervous. Looked at my flo app this morning and my fw is 3 days off and just went WAH WHY. Similarly my ds has been playing up. Tantrums over the daftest things these past few days. At least is is Friday and DH can deal with some of them tomorrow

@Brightonbelle87 I'm lucky that my acne mainly stays on my back but I hate when the big chin spots appear. You do feel like concealer just makes it more obvious and the spots just beam through it.

@BluePoppies welcome!! Exciting times ahead

Brightonbelle87 · 22/04/2022 10:10

Thanks everyone! I'm not going to test again until Monday and hope dear AF hasn't arrived.

@LucyLoopyLu my acne has broken out all around my mouth and chin, I'm hoping it's a sign but putting concealer on somehow makes it looks worse, like I'm plastering craters on the moon! 😫if I hear someone telling to drink more water one more time I'm going to scream...

@Nyxxie sending best wishes for the next few days, the TWW is so frustrating.

@WingingIt09 sounds like you're doing a great job tbf!

WingingIt09 · 22/04/2022 08:07

@BluePoppies of course you can join, welcome!

@Nypie hope your appointment goes well.

I'm having a day where I wonder what on earth I'm thinking having a third. Both DDs VERY emotional this morning and we've had lots of tears over various things such as Daddy having eaten the last of the weetabix, apple squash not being in the right cup (even though she'd been happy with that cup half an hour before), it not being snack time... how is it only 8am!? It's going to be a long day

BluePoppies · 22/04/2022 00:32

Mind if I join @WingingIt09? We’ve decided to ttc #1 in six months time, which I guess puts us at October! I’m 30 and DH is 35

Nypie · 22/04/2022 00:06

@WingingIt09 so close OP! I think I'll be freaking out too I already ask my partner about 4 times a week how he feels about us TTC in september 😂😂😂 poor thing. Extra baby dust for you for this great thread!

Got my drs "appointment" for 2moro to check my medication is okay, the official zika stats and to see if they have any TTC tips for me.

lj2022 · 21/04/2022 21:53

@FourOclock @LemonZestDribbles it's so good hearing your stories about it definitely feel like I've made the right decision taking it. You're right lemonzestdribbles they really smell and taste a little funny and I'm taking b-complex too

@Nypie @LucyLoopyLu it's amazing what you find when you look down the natural route and not what doctors say. Apparently it can help hormonal acne too But again I'm not a doctor just going off my own research

@WingingIt09 so exciting you're so close now. Think it's normal for the nerves to kick in when it gets close

WingingIt09 · 21/04/2022 21:12

I might have to look into Angus cactus too. It's just hit me today that I'm only 3 weeks off actually TTC #3 😱 it's come around so quickly. I'm nervous now it's nearly here, all my friends say I must be mad to go for 3rd!

Nypie · 21/04/2022 20:42

@lj2022 I think that's the best attitude to have 💕 but of course it'll feel like forever.

And amazing tips ladies need to get on the cactus my pms has me feeling pretty low but I also suffer from depression from time to time so that doesn't help

LucyLoopyLu · 21/04/2022 20:31

I might have a look into the Angus castus.

My acne is really getting me down. I paid to see a dermatologist privately and she listened to all the things I had tried in the past and said it's v likely hormonal, and roaccutane is the only option left. But will have to wait until post baby/babies now.
Every time I give my head a wobble and try not to let it bother me it seems to get worse.

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 19:37

@lj2022 not long as I fell pregnant really quickly after. I started ttc August 20, think I started Angus castus in November (as well as evening primrose and vitamin something maybe b6) and January was my bfp. I remember the tablets smelling gross 🤣

@HeathenPlayingHouse that's so good on the bleeding

@rainbowsunshines welcome! There seems to be quite a few of us with toddlers thinking about number 2 or 3 so you're in good company. Although I think we might be a little crazy to go back to sleepless nights. My dh and I used to watch Taskmaster repeats at 3am trying to get ds to finally fall asleep

@Nyxxie fingers crossed for bfp 🤞🤞

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 19:30

@lj2022 I stopped taking it as soon as I was pregnant, well I had a break in between starting TTC before reading about it, maybe a week or so but then realised I couldn't cope with PMS plus negative test emotions every month without it so just carried back on with it 🙈 but yeah I stopped as soon as I had a positive test

lj2022 · 21/04/2022 19:26

@FourOclock aw Thankyou so much for that info! I suffer horrendous PMS so even if it just helps that I'll be happy. I read they all say not to take it while pregnant as there's just no research been done on possible effects so I'm taking up until ovulation and then will start again on CD1 if not pregnant but I've read of people taking it all through TTC and pregnancy and it being completely fine

Dreamingof3 · 21/04/2022 19:03

@FourOclock that sounds good, i might look into it!

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 18:17

I was taking Agnus castus for PMT before TTC and it was like a miracle drug for me! I wasn't sure if I was allowed to take it when TTC as I hadn't taken it before my last two pregnancies but then read online that people take it to encourage ovulation (I think it was? I forget!) But anyway, it was my quickest TTC attempt yet, no idea if it was linked but worth a shot!

lj2022 · 21/04/2022 17:38

@Nypie thanks it's only really been 4 months but 5 cycles but one of which I was unwell so I know it's still early days. As time goes on it's harder not to worry but I'm the same where I keep saying 6 months for most and up to a year just keep saying to myself how it's normal. Angus castus is a herbal remedy it helps the gland that produces hormones work properly and give out the correct hormone balance so 🤞 it makes a difference to my severe PMS and lengthens my luteal phase. Baby dust to you too

@LemonZestDribbles ohh it's good to hear of someone that's used it! How long did you use it for ? Did you have irregular cycles ?

rainbowsunshines · 21/04/2022 16:47

Hi, could I please join? We have decided to TTC for baby #2 in August, and I'm already very excited! I'm 27 and we have a just turned 2 year old dd who sleeps through the night, so we are just about ready to start all over again!

@Nyxxie hopefully going in the right direction then.

@HeathenPlayingHouse glad the bleeding has stopped. Hopefully things will improve for you this cycle!

Yay! I found the new thread My app was playing up rotten yesterday so it took a while.

@Brightonbelle87 Gentle congrats, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm happy to say that after only 2 days on the Norethisterone, my bleeding appears to have stopped! Not sure how the rest of the cycle will go, but I'm just looking on the bright side.

Nyxxie · 21/04/2022 14:41

@WingingIt09 thanks, it was 8 days first cycle and 9 days last cycle. I've been taking vitamin b6 this cycle so hoping that has some effect
