If I've worked things out correctly I'm due 1st January. I've got a doctors appointment Friday. Being my first I havent really got a clue on what happens now tbh!

WingingIt09 · 02/05/2022 22:58

@Bear486 just seen that! Congratulations on your positive test. When are you due?

@lj2022 sorry I've not experienced it so no idea. Could you possibly have only ovulated yesterday (so when you thigh you were 1dpo?) then it might be ovulation bleeding?

OP posts:
lj2022 · 02/05/2022 21:16

Has anyone had spotting at 1 or 2DPO ? I've never had spotting before at this stage and usually get it 7/8 DPO. Feel like it's too late to be ovulation bleeding as it's 2 days after but not sure as I've never had it before

Bear486 · 02/05/2022 21:04

Only just seen this new thread! Literally just posted on the last one 🤦‍♀️

Sending lots of baby dust for those trying this month 💓

I accidentally bought a baby grow 🙃 plan is to just hide it away and hopefully use it in telling my partner at some point in the not too distant future 😅 🤞

I've seen a really cute pack of baby grows from Next that I've been tempted to buy. Haven't yet, but I do periodically check they are still in stock...

OCM19 · 02/05/2022 20:30

Hi all, just catching up. Congratulations to the new Mammas-to-be. I’m currently 9
8DPO, but we only DTD once this month so low chance.

finding it a bit difficult as I have a little pregnancy and new mum gift box business and keep seeing all the lovely messages people want to be included, it’s so lovely though to think that people send gifts when somebody announces their pregnancy!

I am going to try to hold off testing until Friday. How is everyone else doing? X

DanceWithYourBalloon · 02/05/2022 11:08

I'm roughly 6DPO. Part from some slight cramping today I couldn't feel more different from last month when I had my chemical.
I'm feeling energetic and absolutely no spotting! 🤞🏻

SarahShorty · 02/05/2022 10:01

I DTD last night (CD14), will go again tomorrow night (CD16) and then again CD18 and beyond until ovulation, which will be anywhere between CD18 and CD23. Unlike the first two cycles, I'm starting earlier and will power through. My LH read at 0.72 low (0.80 is high for me) last night and my BBT has risen slightly, so hopefully ovulation isn't far. I hope everyone is doing okay xx

Anonymouslyposting · 02/05/2022 09:04

Just checking in. AF has been and gone so we are now actively trying! Trying to decide whether to go for the OPKs like I did last time or just try not to focus on it too much. I’m not really a take it easy person though so I imagine I’ll be off to the pharmacy later to get the kits and shouting “it’s time!” at my husband in a week or two.

Anonymouslyposting · 02/05/2022 09:01

HippeePrincess · 21/04/2022 20:54

@Anonymouslyposting & @Cherrymarket I found the first year of having my first DC really difficult and in hindsight I probably had PND, didn't help that I had little support and my XH was a dick plus DS had terrible reflux. Anyway, DC2 was a much more difficult baby but I felt so much more myself than first time round, so I wanted to reassure you both that just because you had PND before doesn't mean you'll get it again. I found 1-2 so much easier than 0-1.

thank you so much for the reassurance. I’m hoping 1-2 will be less of an adjustment as I’ll at least vaguely know what I’m doing but we’ll see!

hevann · 02/05/2022 08:57

So in to month 4 of trying we go! My Flo app says I'm in my fertile window as of today. DTD this morning so off to a good start 🤣 started taking conceive plus fertility tablets & conceive plus ovulation tablets a few weeks ago so we shall see what happens in a few weeks 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hope everyone is doing ok? xx

anibendod · 01/05/2022 19:58

@Theawkwardblonde all I'm taking is folic acid which has vitamin D in with it and the same antihistamine (cetirizine) I've taken for years for my snotty hooter

Theawkwardblonde · 01/05/2022 19:17

@WingingIt09 yeah it's a bit awkward re my maternity. I know my employer will deal with it. However due to my job I get placed on restricted duties as soon as I notify them I'm pregnant (high risk of injury/explosion to infections etc). So prior to my current mat leave I was on desk duties for 8 months. That's the part I'm dreading as it's then about 16 months a time I'm out of my day to day job if that makes sense. Obviously will have to do it again for number 2..just dreading the thought of desk duties again 😂 I do think a lot of people come back pregnant! It's the done thing at our place!

@LemonZestDribbles it is exciting! I get the whole being fed up of dtd. I got like this whilst trying to conceive DD.
It got to the point where we were planning on everything around ovulation.
Ironically, the month we fell I didn't track, we only did it once too as we had a horrific month with family stuff, death etc. go figure 😂

@anibendod have you started any vitamins etc or on medication? Some pregnancy vitamins (can't remember which ones) caused havoc with my period/cycle causing spotting and no proper AF.

anibendod · 01/05/2022 17:27

No idea what's going on my my uterus

started spotting on what I believe to be 10DPO (tues). It was so light/infrequent I didn't need so much as a pantyliner. Weds and Thurs was slightly heavier but 1 pantyliner per day was more than enough. Fri was too heavy for a pantyliner but not heavy enough to warrant a pad. Saturday (AF due date) was like a very light period flow. Today nothing. Still testing negative 15DPO. So I haven't had a proper period but no BFP either?

It's only our first cycle of properly TTC so I'm ok with the outcome either way I just want certainty. Can't get my head around what it could mean for trying to predict ovulation next month.

Nyxxie · 01/05/2022 14:05

@Sunshine0987 that's really sweet that he got his own vitamins! I know what you mean about not wanting to be the one doing all the planning etc so it's nice when the OH shows an interest too 🙂 It will be time to start trying before you know it!

@LemonZestDribbles that's me at the moment too, more hopeful for a long luteal phase than an actual BFP 🤣 So glad it worked out for you and thanks again for giving me hope!

lj2022 · 01/05/2022 13:11

@LemonZestDribbles you sound like me. Who knew TWW could be so frustrating. I'm definitely 1dpo today as my bbt spiked today. Let's hope it's. A quick 2 weeks for us

keeponsmiling2019 · 01/05/2022 13:01

Thanks everyone
@WingingIt09 Af due tomorrow- wed at the latest which would be a 30day cycle which I've had for the past two months so I guess there's still hope. Still feel pregnant and (tmi) have milk leaking from one boob and very sore... it's a waiting game

LemonZestDribbles · 01/05/2022 11:35

@WingingIt09 yas for af likely to hit on the last day of holiday. Nearly perfect timing

@Theawkwardblonde will be so exciting for you to start trying again eeek. Work will always make you worry but some things are more important than someone who might be a bit miffed that you'll be going on mat leave again.

@lj2022 I'll be going into tww tomorrow. I can't remember how I did it last time. Think I was on mn all the time obsessing like a crazy 🤪

@keeponsmiling2019 sorry about the negative. It's very disheartening ❤

Got my peak. Pretty sure I'll ovulate sometime today or maybe tomorrow morning. Fed up dtd now so I'm looking forward to tww. Think DH will be skipping away for a restful night away from wild toddler and wild wife in his hotel room for the week 🤣

WingingIt09 · 01/05/2022 09:47

@Dreamingof3 the time you are willing AF to show up... next cycle you'll be wishing her away 😂

@keeponsmiling2019 sorry it's negative. When is AF due?

@Theawkwardblonde you have to do what's best for you. I interviewed for my current job whilst on maternity leave and then made them wait until I'd finished my leave to start 🥴 I was then pregnant with #2 4 months into the job and went on leave again a year after I'd started. I half apologised to my manager as I sheepishly announced my pregnancy to her and she told me not to worry and that she came back from her 1st maternity leave pregnant with her second 😂

Theawkwardblonde · 01/05/2022 09:43

@keeponsmiling2019 sorry to hear it's a bfn. Fingers crossed for next month for you.

Theawkwardblonde · 01/05/2022 09:42

@WingingIt09 I'll look into fertility friend. I was using Femometer as I have the opks from them. Think I fished with bbt as i work shifts so my brain just couldn't remember to do them in a morning after a 12 hour night shift..

Very exciting for you all who are actively TTC. I'm sat here twisting to husband that I can't wait to try the no 2. Still a couple of months to go till I'm 6 months pp. I'm overthinking but having a bit of a panic what I would do if I returned to work pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️ my maternity leave finishes in August.

keeponsmiling2019 · 01/05/2022 07:00

@FourOclock thanks. X

FourOclock · 01/05/2022 06:46

Sorry to hear that @keeponsmiling2019 Sad it's so disheartening

keeponsmiling2019 · 01/05/2022 06:00

Just took a FRER BFN. Feel so disappointed as I was convinced. I know I'm not out until AF but feel it's unlikely now. Clearblue Ovulation stick purchased at the ready
