Ovulation post miscarriage

I'm not testing for ovulation will just go with the flow. Is it possible to ovulate before negative results? I'm convinced I ovulated just over a week ago x

@My2boysaremyworld oh yay that’s good. Feels nice to get the negative doesn’t it and be able to try again. The limbo land knowing you wernt getting the baby but couldn’t try for another is horrible.

@Indianna2006 yes was my cycle post miscarriage, so it's 5 weeks today since my miscarriage started but I've been testing positive for a week now. I won't be 5 weeks gestationally as I only ovulated late due to the miscarriage. Had 3 lots of bloods done and my HCG seems to be increasing every 48 hours. Gone from 34 to 80 to 226 yesterday x

I'm similar to you. Finally got my negative test yesterday. I'm 3 weeks post miscarriage. Iv DTD twice in the meantime so hoping for a miracle. If not just hoping for my period to start so I know where I'm at in my cycle

i tested a few days ago and was still quite a strong pregnancy line on the test. Tested yesterday and it’s very faint. Think it will be negative in a few days. So then it’s when to expect ovulation as I wanna try catch it!!

praying this baby doesn’t take as long as the other one. 11 cycles last time! I can’t wait all that! 😫

So sorry for your loss.

But just to say my hospital advised no unprotected sex until a negative test. Tey told me to test two weeks after I had passed everything and if it was still positive I had to go back. They phoned me on the day to check and it was negative sothey discharged me and advised if wanted to try again to keep taking folic

Hopefully the clotty stuff was the last of it. 🤞

@PeanuttyButter I took the second lot of medical management this morning. It’s been over 14 over. An the first dose I started bleeding after 6 hours.

perhaps the clotty stuff I passed between the scan and these tablets was what was left.

have to wait for further scan to confirm I guess. And pray tissue isn’t no longer there

When did you take the tablets @Indianna2006 I know they can take ages to work. I haven't taken them myself personally so can't help in that respect but I'm sorry for your loss

well I had retained tissue unfortunately on a scan. So had to opt for more tablets for medical management. Taken them but absolutely nothing has happened. No increased bleeding nothing. Infact my bleeding has stopped.

so unsure if I will need surgery now. As waiting just seems cruel as could be weeks and weeks. Or whether from attending frost and today Sunday the rest of it came out. But I didn’t pass tissue. Only like clot type jelly blood.

only time will tell I guess. 😔😔

@Overandabove1 I'm 3 weeks and 5 days since mine so our timings are very similar. I've got cramping today so it could be AF trying to come. I don't know when it will come so just have to hope and wait

@Overandabove1 sorry it's not a new pregnancy at this stage, where are you in your cycle is there still hope this month? Or are you hoping for a fresh start and fresh cycle? I've been in both positions, pregnant before a period post miscarriage and also had lingering HCG. Both have their difficulties.
I'm 8dpo and BFN so far. Like I said earlier in the thread that I'd like it to be positive but not expecting it to be. Keep me posted xx

Hi ladies, I hope it’s ok for me to join. I had a MMC at 9 weeks but baby stopped at 6+5 on 29 March. It has been one of the hardest months of my life and now I just want my period to arrive so I can start trying again. We did dtd a few times this month but not trying properly, just not preventing. Hoping it arrives any day now so can start a new cycle and feel my body is resetting finally.

@Overandabove1 when is AF due do you think? How long is your luteal phase?
Should definitely see an increase in the next few days if it's a new pregnancy, I really hope it is for you. What day are you getting bloods repeated?

I'm 4dpo and it's going so slow haha will start testing on cheapies at the weekend around 7dpo although I know I won't see anything.

I'm after some advice. I'm tracking ovulation atm after suffering a missed miscarriage in February. According to the clear blue website I should have started tracking yesterday. I did a test this morning on the advanced clear blue ovulation test. The display showed a blank circle. Should I test again tonight or should I wait until tomorrow? Any advice would be appreciated. I have also attached a pic of the stick when I took it out of the holder.

@Overandabove1 that's so exciting!! Just make sure you keep doing the same type of pregnancy test and keep your fluids roughly the same. It doesn't take long for the lines to go super dark so should know within a few days. Got my fingers crossed for you x

@Overandabove1 oh that’s awkward isn’t it! I knew you could ovulate with HCG in your system but thought it had to be retry low. Like below 20 to ovulate properly so therefore pregnancy tests should be negative.

ive always got negatives and then ovulated like a week after getting a negative test so never had that issue.

how long did it take you to ovulate. Seems like it happened quite quickly. Not sure you could get pregnant though when your body still thinks your pregnant with HCG?! I’m not sure. Seems confusing to me. I wouldn’t think the egg would implant because your body and hormones are still clearly confused.

I’m on day 4 of bleeding. But won’t do a pregnancy test until I stop bleeding or for couple weeks as yet. An then go from there.
