CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

I feel like by joining you here I'm finally admitting it's time ttc no.2! Eeeeek

TeddyBeans · 18/04/2022 19:51

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I can see the teensiest hint 🤞🤞

TeddyBeans · 18/04/2022 19:47

The highlighted ones are the ones I put in manually but I'm slightly concerned that CD13 isn't stronger than this...anyone had sudden onset LH surge??

@Organictangerine covid boo hope you feel better soon

LemonZestDribbles · 18/04/2022 19:30

@Harriet669 🤞 it's not when dh is away. Mine is away a lot in May so hoping I'm in tww then

@coffeeplease89 welcome! I'm on cd2 so we're close. 6 and 3 must be crazy and fun - nice age gap for number 3 too

@Izzyboo1234 oooh hopefully af doesn't show

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing sorry about your chemical x

Organictangerine · 18/04/2022 19:15

Checking in! Been struck down by covid, just in time for the bank holiday weekend Sad feeling pretty rough but at least I’m getting it out of the way before ttc I guess… CD26 here, not getting too many PMT symptoms right now so I think I’ll come on a little later than usual, maybe CD30 (normally 27 days, but goes from 25-31 sometimes). I’ll start OPKs once period ends 🤞🏻

allthingssparkly · 18/04/2022 19:07

Sorry to hear about your chemical @thebloodycatwontstopmeowing 😥 I'm TTC Baby 3 too! Just patiently waiting for ovulation to happen then it won't be long before I'm joining the TWW hopefully.

Good luck to you ⭐

@TeddyBeans I've noticed with Premom that sometimes it asks you to re-take the image of the test as the lighting can impact the overall reading it gives you.

Although mine are still reading low, they are going up slightly. I'm hoping this is a good sign 🤞

Need to get a groove on and BD these next few nights I think 🙈

@allthingssparkly nope nothing yet! Premom hasn't caught the last couple of lines so I'm having to manually input and I don't really know how accurate I'm being. This morning's was 0.18 I think...how's yours looking?

Izzyboo1234 · 18/04/2022 17:46

Hi all,

Catching up on the updates.

While AF hadn’t shown her head yet, I’m getting BFN! Just one of them longer cycle months!

I hope everyone is okay, and everything crossed for May for us all!

CoffeePlease89 · 18/04/2022 14:11

Hey everyone,

After months of debating whether to or not, I think I have finally decided to take the plunge and try for number 3!
I have two beautiful children DD 6 and DS 3 and never really thought I'd go for a third but have not been able to shake the feeling - don't want to push my luck and I'm really scared but this feeling isn't going to go away! (If anyone is in the same boat please let me know!) Partner is happy with whatever I want to do which doesn't help LOL.
Anyway I came on period yesterday so will be ovulating around 1st May so hoping for perhaps a BFP middle of May Smile for a Jan baby as certainly didn't want a Christmas one!
Hope you don't mind me joining and hope to make some friends to go through this journey with!

Harriet669 · 18/04/2022 13:33

@Alicew00 CD = Cycle day and DPO is days post ovulation 😊 welcome

Harriet669 · 18/04/2022 13:31

CD9 and trying to get my head around the OPK's, it's getting quite dark already, I have had some short cycles recently and OH is away for 4 days now and hoping that's not the window 🤞🏼
I'm hoping for a jan/feb baby, only on cycle 2 but secretly happy I won't have a Christmas baby! Already an expensive time of year 😂

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 10:19

@3rdtimelucky2022 I think that’s a great way of looking at it! I am 7DPO and would be due 03/01.

Although stupidly did a test this morning (even tho I know 7dpo is early!) and was BFN!

Still keep fingers crossed!

allthingssparkly · 18/04/2022 09:18

How are you @TeddyBeans? Any signs of a positive OPK? 😊

Organictangerine · 17/04/2022 20:22

@3rdtimelucky2022

I think a January/February birthday is good! I would be quite happy with that. Halfway through the school year so won’t be oldest/youngest in the class and fairly quiet months so nice to have a birthday to bring a bit more excitement in those long months! Plus then by the time the baby is past the newborn part it will be spring/summer and can take them out to enjoy the sunshine and parks etc!
Very good point!
LemonZestDribbles · 17/04/2022 20:16

@3rdtimelucky2022 totally agree!

@Alicew00 welcome! Cd is cycle day and dpo is days past ovulation :)

Alicew00 · 17/04/2022 18:26

Hi I'm new. Not sure what CD or dpo means but I'm excited to start trying to conceive (I think that's TTC?) with my partner. I got my coil out on 7th April. Had my period on 10th so got my fingers crossed. Excited!
Thanks

At least January is close to spring. I'd rather a January baby than a December. My September baby it was hard going for walks as it was always freezing.

We might get out cooking the Christmas dinner too 🤣
