Hoping for BFP in May

@HansBanans glad it's not just me. Everyday I'm dreaming of what I would buy. Sounds a bit silly but I've wanted this for a long time.

@April01stbaby yes! I've got a whole Amazon wish list dedicated to it and I haven't had my BFP yet

Does anyone else find themselves looking on the internet at baby clothes or lists for packing a hospital bag? All things pregnancy related.
I really want my BFP

@LemonZestDribbles I'm not entirely sure. My cycles have ranged from 30-35 days but have been 30 days for the past few months meaning I'd be due on 4 May. But I'm pretty sure that I ovulated earlier than planned (last Tuesday) due to a really sore left ovary and then days of sore boobs afterwards...

I could very well be testing too early but I've just got no clue anymore 🙈 we had done it near enough every day up to and including last Tuesday when I had those symptoms, so if I ovulated after that day then we've probably missed our window for this month anyway. I'm far too impatient I know 😅

@MangoLipstick I loved them when ttc before. Think I'll like them better month now I know that mine don't get darker and just go for peak. Looking forward to next week for a break from peeing on things 🤣

So this waiting thing is hard! Although been trying for a while this is the first time I’ve used the ovulation sticks. It’s been a week since my peak so probably only 5 dpo… way to early to test right?

I’ve only used opks for one cycle. Mine got darker over 2 days, then very dark when I got my peak, but before that , they were very light & there didn’t seem to be much colour progression at all.
I might try using them again this next cycle.
How do you find them?

Joining in if I may. Just under a year of trying for no.1.
Keep thinking I’m doing everything wrong, I’m planning to start taking temp again as I’m not that clear when I’m ovulating which is silly. Using OPK though. It’s so hard isn’t it.

Pink spotting on CD24 again so definitely out. I'll be staying put for a while though cuz next af will be due at the end of may.

@Decaffe I had a bunch of those 10iu tests for my first and was resoundingly negative in those for a good week after I was getting positives on FRERs. I won’t be using them again 😂

I have bits of mild cramping this morning 😬 it's putting me on edge!

I've attached my OPK's if it helps you, mine went from Low to Peak quick (within the same day!)

Those that take opks - do they gradually get darker or go from zero to peak in your experience. I've had very faint all week and I cannot remember what mine were like when I was ttc ds. Meant to ov Sunday and dh is leaving Monday for the week so starting to fear I won't ov until next week

I caved and tested this morning at 9dpo, negative 😞 I'll try again in a few more days but feeling a little less hope now🤞

@Cherrymarket I'll be due to test the near the end of May (my birthdays on the 25th as well!) So that would be a lovely birthday present for me!

CD5 today. Period over, will start OPK maybe Monday.
had a chat with a consultant colleague at work (obs and gynae) about why my ovulation date changes every month, was it post ectopic or coil etc. she said, probably nothing to do with either, age likely the biggest factor, but also just life. As I’m on cycle 7 now she ordered FSH and LH bloods which I did yesterday, and then to do a progesterone 7 and 8dpo, mainly to confirm I’m actually ovulating. Have to take the occupational perks where I can get them!!

Nice to see some old ‘friends’ on here, although of course I wish we were all on ‘the other board’ by now!

8dpo here. I had really quite strong lower backache on the side I ovulated from, 1–4dpo. Then it faded, although in some positions that side still feels sore. I don’t think it means anything though.

Took a 10iu easy@home this morning, negative. This is my first cycle after HSG and the scientific literature says there is a fertility bounce for three months after your HSG so I was pinning everything onto this month, especially as our other tests have come back ok and we DTD every other day religiously.

I know I’m only 8dpo but I couldn’t feel less pregnant if I tried. No cramps or twinges or pinching or pulling or sharp pains. I just know we’ve failed for yet another month.
