Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

Looks like it’s going to be. Bleeding quite heavily now. Feel a bit sad but Never mind. Try again next month xx

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom im so sorry I had a chemicals couple months ago and it's pretty horrible especially after catching the egg and getting the positive test xx
Thanks @MrsGrealish it’s not pleasant but if it’s going to happen I’d rather it now than later but still a bit sad considering xx
@PositivelyPrehistoricMom best of luck to you too 💕 it really could just be nothing but of course not knowing what it is is a horrible feeling x
Thank you. I’ve started to bleed a bit more and it’s more red now like a period. Similar to when I miscarried last time so I’m not holding out much hope. I know. I think its a chemical pregnancy :-( I know some people can bleed and have perfectly normal healthy pregnancy but something inside is telling me that this isn’t it x

@lettyloulou good luck keeping everything crossed x

@41andtryingforfirst I’m so sorry - we have to look at the silver lining! I’m now getting some light cramps and what was brown spotting has turn to a light pinky red but until unless I start bleeding properly I’m trying to stay positive.

lettyloulou · 18/04/2022 15:19

Tested today on a cheapie at 8DPO/CD22 and it's a bfn of course. Will test again tomorrow!

41andtryingforfirst · 18/04/2022 14:40

AF got me 😢. Oh well wine tonight!

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 18/04/2022 09:16

@Graceybaby you too? I’m glad I’m not on my own. I know I just need to wait it out really and whatever happens will happen and I’ll have to work on accepting that. As I say I’m about 4.3 and everything I’ve read via dr google tells me it could be implantation or old blood. I would normally be on my period right now so I’m just trying to not let my head get away from me!! I’m as okay as I’ll ever be I think thank you x hope you are too - let’s hope our babies are of the sticky kind xx 💕

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 18/04/2022 09:11

@Rosegold3112 thank you for replying. This is such a lovely group and I felt really safe coming on here to ask this. I think if I hadn’t have miscarried before I might have just waited it out. It is literally only when I wipe but I know it’s far too early for a scan and for anyone like a doctor to actually do anything (other than check if my hcg is rising - but this is the nhs so if they don’t deem it essential right now nothing will get done) I’ll have to wait and see. I’ll just wait it out. Praying that it’s nothing and perfectly normal. I just wish we hadn’t left it so long as I know my age is against me too! X

Graceybaby · 18/04/2022 09:07

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom I have been having the same thing since last night, slightly pink/brown tinged discharge when I wipe.. only a little and nothing major so not worrying too much ATM.. It is scary and makes me feels so anxious but I have to just accept that what will be will be.. but I do know it's completely normal and could mean absolutely nothing. Hope you're ok💜 xxxx

Rosegold3112 · 18/04/2022 08:49

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom sorry you're worried. With my DD I had implantation bleeding before my bfp but then again at 5 or 6 weeks I had more. Can't remember it exactly - I know it was only there when I wiped and I think it was more on the red side than brown but I do remember the panic and my heart sinking. I phoned 111 and my gp but because it was so early there was nothing they could say or do, just to wait it out and go A&E if bleeding got heavy and accompanied by pain. It was nothing, stopped on its own and apparently is actually extremely common to spot early on. I'd advise you just to take it easy, get lots of rest and try not to worry about it too much (easier said than done!) I'm sure it's all OK. Remember your cervix will be really sensitive now and bleed more easily so dtd can cause bleeding, as well as going for a poo. For me mine was after a walk up a big hill and then a poop 😅

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 18/04/2022 08:30

So after the elation of Saturday I took a digital test yesterday and got the little word I wanted but late yesterday every time I went to the loo and wiped there was a light brown discharge on the paper. Bit more stringy today and I’ve popped a pad on but it is only when I wipe. I’ve consulted dr google (🤦🏻‍♀️) and it seems that at 4 weeks it could be old period blood or implantation bleeding but of course after losing the last one and taking so long as I was so scared to try again I’m terrified this will end in another m/c. I don’t feel as queasy but I am exhausted (I’m also full of a cold and can’t breathe through my nose which doesn’t help at night to sleep)
Anyone experienced this before and have any words of advice? Am I worrying unnecessarily? I hate that it’s bank holiday I’ve got to wait until tomorrow to ring my GP and hopefully speak to them about it. Thanks for listening x

Rosegold3112 · 17/04/2022 17:41

@ArcEnCiel2022 yup, af is officially here. Funnily enough the witch came yesterday not long after I'd posted here and although I'm not cramping I feel sore and heavy in my lower regions. Trying to be optimistic and remind myself this cycle has at least been normal length for me. Hopefully next cycle will be the same! Weary of using opks just cos the cycle before was 50 days and its relentless testing all that time. I'm CD 2 so not far behind you! Although I think I'm going to wait until cd12 to start testing this time round. I'm going to be a bit more focused on temping this time too. Good luck!

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 17:11

@ArcEnCiel2022 thanks lovely xx I did have high hopes for a bit but sadly not meant to be 💕 gonna try and relax this month and not obsess (which I am prone to) and see if it helps

Hope we all keep in touch though ❤️

ArcEnCiel2022 · 17/04/2022 17:06

@Rosegold3112 Thank you! I hope our time will come soon ❤️🌈 Has AF started properly finally?

@MrsGrealish Sorry to hear 💞 I'm jealous of your holidays in Greece 😍 I'm going to France and Spain in June, I can't wait!

CD5 for me and AF finally stopped! It seems a few of us are starting a new cycle these days! I will do OPK this month again to check how long is my luteal phase, so I will probably start testing on Wednesday, CD8 (last month I had my peak CD14). But then I will try to wait AF and will test only if she's late.

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 12:16

@GoT1904 I'm heading to Greece in 3 weeks getting excited about that! Time to start holiday shopping xx not checking OPKs either this month. I think I know my cycle well enough xx

GoT1904 · 17/04/2022 11:58

Aww sorry @MrsGrealish. We're here for next cycle though. ❤

I'm CD3 now and holding so much water!! Can't wait for it to stop and get back to TTC. 😂😂

I've no idea what my cycle will be this time. This is 2nd cycle since coming off the pill. My first cycle was 22 days! With a 10 day luteal phase. Pre-pill I was 31 days with a 14 day LP.

Sooooo last cycle I O'd on CD11. I'm not testing for O this cycle.. I'm just gonna keep an eye on Ov symptoms and DTD every other day. I'll probably test around CD30 if I get that far without AF. So 27 days :)) xxx

Congratulations @PositivelyPrehistoricMom !! Wonderful news for you 🥰

Sounds like a lot of you ladies have had an early Easter gift of AF the same as me 🙃 is it possible to sync cycles with people over a forum? 🤣

So happy for all the BFPs, and here's to 2023 babies for the rest of us 🥂

I've bought some cheeky lingerie ready to tempt OH at the right time of the month 😆 and I am not going to test until AF is late next time!!

41andtryingforfirst · 17/04/2022 10:26

@MrsGrealish ah I'm sorry to hear that. Roll on to the next cycle xx

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 10:07

@41andtryingforfirst no need for FRER. AF started late last night 😞

41andtryingforfirst · 17/04/2022 08:32

@MrsGrealish did you do your FRER? Just did mine - BFN on FRER. I'm 13 dpo so thinking I'm out now. FX for you x
