Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

welcome @AmyD54321 and @Sarahmayo

How is everyone doing today? I'm 5dpo and just had tiny spots blood when I wiped. I've got a LOT of work to try and get done before the end of the day and now my brain is in hyper mode thinking about concieving. Surely this is too early for implantation spotting?? Maybe there's something wrong, my luteal phase has been short recently so I wondering if I am spotting due to hormonal imbalance, or maybe I have polyps again?.

Also. Weird dreams last night- I didn't know until last night I heard music in my dreams before but I was definitely dancing a long to an orchestra at a very weird party, sort of Bridgerton-esk (and I've never watched an episode) I'm clearly cracking up. :D

@ArcEnCiel2022 I love a good negative picture mmm if I edit this and make it brighter there might be a line😂 not a good habit 😅

Absolutely disgusting treatment from that hospital btw

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 15:02

Oh Arc, I can't even imagine how sad that was and is for you. I've got goosebumps reading it. What an awful time. :( I hope with everything I have you get your rainbow baby this month! Can't wait till you start testing!

Hahaha I keep thinking I'm pregnant. But because I'm freshly off the pill its like either ramping up my regular hormones, or I'm just noticing them more. Xx

@MrsGrealish I didn't even take pictures of my negatives as there was no doubt, they were so white. I tried to look at them under different lights, etc. 😂 Even coming back to them a bit later to see if maybe I could have missed the line (even though I knew that if there was something it would have been an indent...)

I completely understand what you mean about the physical pain 😔 it must be such a shock after seeing a heartbeat. I never saw any heartbeat as I didn't have an early scan (next time I definitely will, my GP told me they will offer it to me if I want). The first one I miscarried before I even arrived to the hospital, when they scanned me and said "I'm sorry I don't see anything" I couldn't believe what was happening, I was not prepared at all for that (you can never been prepared anyway), but I never thought it would happen to me. The worse was that I understood that they were considering 3 possibilities: miscarriage, ectopic, or the 3rd was that I had never been pregnant and was inventing/lying!!! Hopefully when they had the blood test result they could see I had some HCG and had been pregnant. I couldn't believe they even considered that, so awful! Second time was even worse because I was so confident that everything was ok as I had really really strong symptoms from the beginning. They suddenly stopped around 11 weeks and I started bleeding. I still hear the voice of the doctor telling me "I'm sorry there is no heartbeat"...

Anyway, I hope we get our rainbows very soon 😊🌈

@GoT1904 I feel nauseous too at the moment after my lunch, and I'm thinking "what if..." It's way too early, I know, probably something was not too fresh in my sandwich 😂😅

Since this morning I have a kind of feeling, like I know I'm pregnant. Please don't remind me I said that when I show you my negative tests next week 😂

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 14:00

@MrsGrealish haha well your brain is behaving better than mine!! Wish I could fast forward a little. Xx

@GoT1904 my boobs ache today! At 4/5 dpo I know this is just progesterone 😅

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 13:49

Aww talk of loss isn't bringing the tone of the thread down at all! It's a safe little space we have here. So don't worry about that:)

I'll be keeping the both of you in my thoughts.

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 12:53

@ArcEnCiel2022 oh I started testing at 8dpo too and have so many negative tests saved to my phone. Once I start there's no going back😂

I'm sorry about your losses too ❤️ ❤️because mine was unplanned I didn't expect to feel the way I did. But when it was over my heart actually ached. Like physical pain. I had a scan at 6 weeks with a heartbeat so I must have grown attached.

Anyway not meaning to bring the thread down (sorry) but fx this is the month we get our rainbows 🌈 💕

ArcEnCiel2022 · 08/04/2022 12:03

@GoT1904 that sounds fun! 😊 Your house must be so animated when you have all the children! I bet it will be nice to enjoy a quiet night!

@Graceybaby Nice plan for tonight as well! 😊

Tonight I think we will have a meal out as well with our friends. I don't think I'll last too long though, I feel exhausted and tomorrow we are off to spend the weekend in London with them (it's their first time visiting the UK!)

@MrsGrealish 😂😂 when I started my cycle I was like this time I don't test before 12dpo (last month I started at 8...), but now I'm debating between 8 and 9 😅 and I don't know which of the pretending or actual dpo I'll choose 😂
I'm sorry for your loss, I had 2 miscarriages last year at 7 and 11 weeks, it was devastating, one of the worst moment of my life...

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 11:27

@GoT1904 wait for it DS20, DS19 and DD15. Honestly thought I was done til I miscarried an unplanned pregnancy this time last year at 8 weeks. Absolutely nearly ruined me. Took me the rest of the year to talk DH into trying again and here we are!

@ArcEnCiel2022 I've absolutely no idea when to test. I'm thinking no earlier than 10 dpo but is that the pretend 10dpo or the actual 10dpo😅

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 11:18

@Graceybaby aw that sounds lovely!

@MrsGrealish how old are your DC? Mine are 12, 8 and 6. So quite a gap for me. DP's two are 6 and 3.

Every single time my labour hasn't progressed. My waters go and then I need the drip, so I'm fully expecting that to happen again.

@ArcEnCiel2022 we're playing some board games tonight and having a night in. :) I've got a murdery thing that comes with 'police files' etc and you've got to work out who's done it lol.

Haha which one are you going to go with?!? I'm 4dpo but would like to believe I'm 5 from my +opk lol. But I'm gonna try really hard to not test until Thursday! :D

ArcEnCiel2022 · 08/04/2022 11:04

@MrsGrealish exactly 😂 when are you planning to test?

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 10:55

@ArcEnCiel2022 you sound exactly like me! Premom app says 5 dpo but I'm saying 3/4 dpo. Lying to myself so I don't early test😂

ArcEnCiel2022 · 08/04/2022 10:43

@GoT1904 are you planning something nice for your childfree night?
I don't have any symptoms at the moment, just really tired, but I'm always tired on Friday anyway!
I want to believe I'm 5dpo because I don't want to test too early, but a part of my brain keeps thinking, maybe I'm actually 6dpo if I've ovulated on Saturday when I had the pain, and not on Sunday, and in that case I could test 1 day before I planned 😅

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 10:38

@GoT1904 it's like such an age gap for me between 3 and 4 mind I hope baby does just fly out 😅 DS2 flew out DD (number 3) labour was just horrible. I'm 39 so hoping reproductive system remembers what to do 😊

Graceybaby · 08/04/2022 10:37

Thanks @GoT1904.. I hope so!

I have no real symptoms, boobs are slightly tender again but probably just the fluctuating hormones!

We also have a childfree night tonight! Off out for a nice meal, be nice to take my mind off TTC for a little while, although we'll probably just talk babies still ! My OH is more broody then me! :))

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 10:29

@MrsGrealish mine is no. 4 too! Dp has 2 already so some days we have 5 kids haha. Manic but lots of fun.

Hoping with this being #4 they'll just fly out hahaha

Thanks @ArcEnCiel2022 That's what I've been telling myself, the egg would have still been around either way so I'm sure it was fine! Hopefully I can be more prepared next cycle.. I was unsure of when/if I'd ovulate so we weren't really focusing on when we DTD!

x

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 10:28

@Graceybaby there's a very real chance you've caught your egg!! Don't forget that after your OPK the egg isn't released for something like 12-48 hours.

@AmyD54321 I know!! My nipples are still really sore and I was cramping last night after DTD.. but I think it's still pill withdrawal symptoms as I'm only 4dpo. 6 days till I can test! Wooooo.

How are we all today? DP and I have a childfree night tonight and I'm so excited for it.

Thanks for letting me join!

@ArcEnCiel2022 IF I conceived my due date would be 29 December but I usually go early..

@Graceybaby cycle 4 baby number 4 and I'm freaking out a little because I had an early peak on CD10/11. So I didn't DTD much before. Im just feeling really tired atm not much else. No stabbing pains . Just exhaustion.

AmyD54321 · 08/04/2022 10:21

I'm 4dpo today... I know looking for symptoms is never a good idea but I can't help it. Well, I feel absolutely nothing apart from Pms cramps, although earlier than usually. This is so emotionally difficult 🙁

ArcEnCiel2022 · 08/04/2022 10:06

@Graceybaby I think the ovulation is happening only after the peak opk? And then the egg stays something like 24 hours, so I think you're fine even if you ovaluted on Saturday!

ArcEnCiel2022 · 08/04/2022 09:58

@Graceybaby that's interesting, I don't think I've felt that I when I've been pregnant!

@GoT1904 yes I open my app every morning to check my dpo too, but I perfectly know without that as it's all I'm thinking about at the moment 😂 5dpo today!

Hi @MrsGrealish ! You would have a due date around Christmas like us I guess?!

Graceybaby · 08/04/2022 09:51

Starting to have a freak out this morning and doubting our chances at all.. keep wondered if we DTD at the right time? Think it's because I saw a post about when ovulation happens in relation to EWCM and a positive OPK could mean you've already ovulated?!

I had EWCM on Friday but Saturday was when I had the most EWCM and also first thing that morning I got my first positive opk.. we didn't DTD at all in my 'fertile week' leading upto that, we only DTD that Saturday evening and the Sunday morning.. What If I ovulated on Saturday and we DTD too late?

Ughh.. why do we torture ourselves... Guess I'm just starting to try and prepare myself for the disappointment.

Ughh.. my minds

GoT1904 · 08/04/2022 08:01

@Graceybaby I'm glad for our little group too. :) it's actually making this 2ww more tolerable for me haha. This is only cycle 1 for me too and I am OBSESSED.

@ArcEnCiel2022 Hahaha mines similar! I wake up and check how many dpo I'm on, even though I know.

Welcome @MrsGrealish :)
