Joining back in this thread, I was on here a while back with a different name. I took a break for MH reasons.
I’m on CD12 of cycle 3 after MC and due to previous long cycles, my app says next week is fertile week with ovulation around CD 20-21. But I’ve noticed a little bit of ewcm today and a high cervix so I’m going to start ovulation tests tomorrow. It would be great to go back to 28 day cycles instead of 34!

@Mfinch225 I know how you feel. It's hard to put it off, it's fine if you fall quickly when you start trying again, but there's always the worry it won't happen that way. We plan to start trying around June/July and hoping for the best. This forum is so good for sounding out our worries and knowing we're not alone in our thoughts x

Mulner88 · 31/03/2022 18:49

@Mfinch225 I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy 3 weeks ago. I was keen to start trying again straight away as the nurse said I would be my most fertile but then I realised if I was successful, the due date would be end of December and I need to travel back home (my parents live in diff country) for Christmas which cancels a due date of January out too due to flying restrictions in 3rd trimester. I would have ,but this Christmas we were planning a big family get together as my sister travels back from Australia in the first time in 3 years and I have not met my two nieces yet and would hate to miss Christmas with them all. So now I'm kinda raging as I'll have to wait a couple months to TTC again and I'm afraid in case I'm wasting precious time as it took us 9 months to become successful with recent pregnancy. Ah the joys of life and planning lol

curliegirlie · 31/03/2022 17:41

@Sassy144 not convinced it isn’t left over though. I’d have had to have ovulated very soon after the miscarriage, as I am only CD23 post MC…

Sassy144 · 31/03/2022 17:32

@curliegirlie that's a good line!

curliegirlie · 31/03/2022 17:00

Here is said squinter….

🌈 Ttc after miscarriage thread 7 🌈💕🤞✨
curliegirlie · 31/03/2022 16:13

We’ll see what tomorrow brings…crossing fingers for you.

I just got a squinter on a frer. I was really hoping it would either be stronger or blank, but I think the squinter (plus the negative ovulation test) points to it being still from my MC. If I’m still getting squinters after the weekend I think I’ll contact the EPU again - I mean my HCG decreased from 47 to 23 just over 2 weeks ago (and the MC itself was 3 weeks ago). How long does it take to lose that final 23 miu?! Sigh…

WorriedD93 · 31/03/2022 15:54

@curliegirlie been light cramping last few days and boobs so tender, clear blue completely negative, had a little cry and mini breakdown 🙈

curliegirlie · 31/03/2022 14:26

@WorriedD93 you’re not out yet. 10DPO is still very very early and proper squinter territory - particularly on cheapies or own brand tests. Tomorrow or the day after will probably be more conclusive.

curliegirlie · 31/03/2022 14:24

Apologies for the newbie-esque question, but a negative opk is probably a pretty good indication of non-pregnancy isn’t it, and that the absolute squinters on the pregnancy tests I’ve had in the past week are left-over HCG from my loss a few weeks back? I’ve got a frer coming today, so hopefully that will confirm. I suppose realistically I’m hoping for a snowy white test, as that should be pretty conclusive that March’s drama is finally over. My bleeding was just over 3 weeks ago.

WorriedD93 · 31/03/2022 12:11

@Mfinch225 sorry to hear, :( don’t lose hope yet! I’m 10dpo and took a test and it’s negative, I didn’t use fmu but I’m not holding hope, I tired of this journey :(

Lizm1990 · 31/03/2022 11:08

Morning everyone 😊 has anybody had to have their blood tested due to elevated liver levels? When I had my D&C the doctor put an advisory on my letter to say I need my blood taken to check it over, google says it can be brought on by pregnancy or not and there is something underlying, I’ve had my blood taken today so hopefully will get the results next week. The lady asked why I was in hospital 😩 when I said I think she didn’t know what to say …

FfayeN · 31/03/2022 10:42

@Mfinch225 do what's right for you! Whilst TTC I have said I don't want to have a due date close to my two stepdaughters who's birthdays are January, some think this is selfish but I want my one and only to be special and I always feel so stressed around that time as it is after Christmas! For this reason we're not starting to try until July at least, but this gives me time to recover from my D&C and seek out Dr S to get a plan together. Good luck on your journey ☺️

Mfinch225 · 31/03/2022 10:34

@Lottie2267yes feeling okay! We have only just begun trying so not allowing stress to get to me just yet! I used the ultra early clear blue ones! Let us know how you get on!!! 🙏🏼

Is anyone questioning skipping a month to avoid end of December due date? Mine would be roughly 4th Jan if conceived next month and just wondering what peoples thoughts are!

Lottie2267 · 31/03/2022 10:10

Ahhh hope you’re ok @Mfinch225 which test have you used? I’m 12dpo today as well but haven’t tested yet, trying to hold out xxx

Mfinch225 · 31/03/2022 09:36

Well 12DPO today ladies and still BFN! AF due Sunday so just want it to come now really! 😤

flowergarden16 · 31/03/2022 08:48

Congrats @calimc83 !!

flowergarden16 · 31/03/2022 08:47

Hi @ElleBelleLou I had a MMC with a local anesthetic d&c in late December. My period came back about three weeks later and got negative pregnancy test.

I am now 5 weeks pregnant (and terrified!) but that's another story.

I'm sorry for your loss. X

calimc83 · 31/03/2022 08:25

@Bridgey8 Thank you 😊 xx

Bridgey8 · 30/03/2022 22:45

Just popped on here to see how everyone was doing @calimc83 soooooooo made up for you!!!! Xx

calimc83 · 30/03/2022 21:52

@Nikkic2123 @Lizm1990 Thank you!! X

JaK0909 · 30/03/2022 21:43

@TheBirdintheCave yeah didn’t need a sanitary pad, the waiting was horrendous and I was in a lot of pain I wish I’d just gone down the surgery route to begin with - I had general and I was in and out of the hospital in 6hrs with minimal pain. I emphasized that I had a low pain threshold and anxiety- they does me up with lorazepam and morphine and as horrible as the whole situation was it was nice to know it was actually done so I could look forward and not feel stuck.

TheBirdintheCave · 30/03/2022 21:31

@ElleBelleLou I remember you! So sorry to hear you had a miscarriage as well :(

@JaK0909 Yeah I'm worried that's what happened with me. The bleeding is so light I don't really need to wear a pad. I'll see what they say tomorrow.

WorriedD93 · 30/03/2022 21:29

@Louisa89614 I also promised not to test till AF late on Sunday 🙈

WorriedD93 · 30/03/2022 21:28

@Louisa89614 I’ve only got a clear blue in do your think it might show on that? I’m so nervous! Xxx
