@LuckyMoonstone I'm already doing it!! 🤣

@curliegirlie I have found that you can see progression on OPKS! Or at least I did in 2017 when I conceived my daughter 😄

peachiekeen · 17/04/2022 19:47

I'm roughly 8 ish days post ovulation but not sure exactly as I've been away but AF is due on Tuesday as I have a short luteal phase so don't ever really seem to reach 10 dpo. I hoped the holiday would keep the symptom spotting in check but it's been a cloudy slow day today so lots of time to overthink 🙈 I'm sure the plane journey will keep me busy tomorrow 🤞🏼

curliegirlie · 17/04/2022 18:51

I’m CD10 so probably still got about a week before ovulation. I’ve been doing OPKs out of curiosity, even though it’s early and I don’t think they have a linear progression do they? So I know they’re a bit pointless at this point in my (probably 30ish day) cycle. But it’s 4 years since I last did them so I’m just reminding myself of how it all works 🤪

Good luck everyone in the TWW…

LuckyMoonstone · 17/04/2022 18:23

@MrsRosaline similar timings then! What day shall we start driving ourselves mad symptom spotting 😅

MrsRosaline · 17/04/2022 18:08

@LuckyMoonstone I am! I'm not sure what DPO I'm on as I ran out of OPKS but ovulation has deffo passed. Maybe 5/6DPO!

LuckyMoonstone · 17/04/2022 17:52

@Shewhobakes I’m 5dpo, 3rd cycle since MC. I know how you feel, I’m so desperate for it to happen

Shewhobakes · 17/04/2022 17:12

Yes, I am 3DPO. How about you?

It’s been 6 months since my MC now, reallllly hoping this is the month.

LuckyMoonstone · 17/04/2022 16:02

Is anyone else in the TWW?

Sassy144 · 17/04/2022 08:19

@peachiekeen thank you lovely 💛 it is such a strong reaction isn't it, and because the dates are the same as mine were it's just a reminder of where I'd be now had things gone differently. I feel bad for my sister too because she does understand how hard it is for me and doesn't talk about it much around me. I did have a nice day though still thank you x

peachiekeen · 16/04/2022 14:15

Oh @Sassy144 I feel for you lovely. When I saw my friend who was due the same time as me recently I nearly threw up cause she looked so obviously pregnant and I wasn't expecting it. I hate that this has also robbed us of announcing a pregnancy unexpectedly to people too. Everyone close to us knows and is just waiting for us to announce it again and each month it doesn't happen it's even worse - especially when you don't drink for something and have to declare 'don't get excited - I'm not pregnant!'. I hope you manage to have a lovely day anyways x

Sassy144 · 16/04/2022 12:11

Hope everyone is able to enjoy the nice weather this weekend :) I have a family BBQ today and trying to have a positive frame of mind as it's the first time I've since my sister since she told me she is pregnant (and due the same time I was) and I'm the only sibling without children so it's always very centred around the little ones, send me some positive vibes please 😂 I've messaged my mum to tell her I'm not drinking but not pregnant, as they always assume I am!

LuckyMoonstone · 16/04/2022 09:21

4dpo here. Just chugging along impatiently 😆 AF is due Wednesday 27th April but if she doesn’t show I might wait a few extra days until the weekend to test. So basically I’ve still got 2 weeks 🙈

FfayeN · 15/04/2022 12:21

I recent had a MMC. I had to have a PCR at the hospital and then isolate for 4 days until the procedure. I wouldn't have been able to go in if I was positive. I also had to wait 10days for my procedure from the clinic confirming MC also. So sorry for your loss and hope whatever you decide that it goes as well as possible.xx

MO22 · 15/04/2022 11:08

@Indianna2006 so sorry for your loss. I was in London in Dec when I had surgery, I did a PCR test the day before, and not on the day. DH couldnt come in with me, but it was in the throes of omnicron kicking off.

Sadly my friend also had one in Jan and she's in Surrey and she got a scan etc whilst she had covid, they just used PPE.

Hope that helps, thinking of you x

Indianna2006 · 15/04/2022 09:33

@LuckyMoonstone thanks very much. Yes I would check with them next week when I go. Just I needed make decisions about parties this weekend.
But thanks that’s makes sense as I guess unlike something miscarriage and birth can’t wait can it almost.
Women birthing with covid would still need to be there regardless.

I’ll see if anyone else mentions what they have to do from other trusts etc and go from there.
Thank you. Hopefully I can be ttc very soon xx

LuckyMoonstone · 15/04/2022 09:21

@Indianna2006 I’m very sorry for your loss xx
When I went into hospital with my MC I didn’t have to test at home, they just gave me a test to do there. If I had been positive, it just would’ve meant they had to be more careful, wear more PPE etc. They wouldn’t have sent me away or delayed treatment.
If they are allowing your partner or anyone else to be with you, they may need to do a LF test at home the day before (DH did). Again, they wouldn’t have turned him away if positive, they just needed to know. But it’s probably best to check with your hospital as all trusts are different.

Indianna2006 · 15/04/2022 09:12

I’ve discovered I had a mmc a few days ago. 9 weeks only measuring 6. And waiting to see if anything happens on its own.

But as you ladies may have been there, can anyone answer for me whose had to go in as an inpatient for medical management or surgery if you had to do PCR prior to going in? Or a lateral test at home or hospital?

I’m trying to weigh up kids parties I have a weekends and the potential of catching covid and it delaying me getting this sorted out if nothing happens naturally 😫

If you ladies could help answer my queries that would be brilliant.
Hopefully it gets sorted out soon and I can get back to ttc as soon as possible.

Sassy144 · 14/04/2022 13:36

@TTBAM91 I'm really sorry that has happened, I can only imagine how frustrating that is just after you had your scan. The likelihood is though that everything is fine as you had heard the heartbeat just before - if you're very anxious though could you book another scan or speak to EPU?

calimc83 · 14/04/2022 13:32

@bunnykins123 yeah that's what I'm thinking. Early scans stress me 🙈 I know we work out a pregnancy from date of first LMP but that always puts you around 2 weeks ahead - hate all the 'oh are u sure of your dates debate' . I'm feeling ok, nauseous and tired ( bit of insomnia as well). Called the docs today to get my booking appt 😬. How are u doing? Where abouts are you in your cycle now? Xx

TTBAM91 · 14/04/2022 12:50

Hi all,
Had my 7 week early scan today and all went well. Heard the heartbeat and I was so relieved.
Of course, an hour later I go to the loo, wipe and there’s blood. I can’t believe it.
It only seems a small amount at least for now but I just feel sick and heartbroken. It’s so unfortunate.

It was an external ultrasound so I know the bleed wasn’t from poking or prodding. I don’t know what to do at all.

Lizm1990 · 14/04/2022 12:26

That’s put my mind at ease now thankyou 😊😊

This might sound random but since my surgery for my MMC I’ve been having some kind of liquid coming out of me, on and off and it’s not red stained, just super watery. Enough to wet my pants the width of a golf ball, I’ve never had this before my surgery and last month I got it but today and yesterday it was way more obvious. I’m starting to think my wee pipe has been affected in my surgery, but it doesn’t happen all the time and I don’t feel like needing a pee 🤣🤣😩 has anybody had this after their surgery? If not I think I need to book an appt as I don’t think it’s right, it can’t be CM as I’m only CD8 and it’s not man stuff …. The joys!!!

bunnykins123 · 14/04/2022 08:20

@calimc83 really tough one. I would probably say get a scan a week or so before your holiday? That way, you'll have the reassurance whilst your away and can enjoy your holiday more! How are you feeling anyway? Much sickness yet? Xx

@Lizm1990 no I don't but I do have old blood stained ewcm a few days after AF has finished? Sounds pretty normal if most of us are getting similar!

Sassy144 · 14/04/2022 07:03

@Lizm1990 yes I have had that, but from memory I think I still ovulated as normal that cycle

LuckyMoonstone · 13/04/2022 20:44

@Lizm1990 yes I’ve had that my last 3 cycles, about a week after AF stopped. Like a bleed but thinned out with cm. Only since I had my MC, never before. I don’t know what it means but it’s one of the reasons I’m going to my docs next week.

Lizm1990 · 13/04/2022 20:10

@LuckyMoonstone fingers crossed for you too 🥰

@calimc83 that’s a tough one as you want to enjoy your time abroad but not be stressing about it either, I don’t envy you!

Girls has anyone had watery blood tinged discharge after AF? I didn’t usually get this before and I’m just hoping I’m not having a weird cycle, as my AF did start and stop too
