@Lizm1990 good luck testing today 🤞

@Louisa89614 well done for not testing, I think we are cycle buddies too!

@LuckyMoonstone you'll probably find you have a line again this morning when using FMU. The strips are notoriously frustrating and I think a lot of ladies transition to CB for that reason (I certainly did!!)

LuckyMoonstone · 03/05/2022 22:13

Well I tested again tonight with a 3+ hour hold, not much to drink, and barely a line 😖I know the line I showed you all a picture of probably doesn’t seem that dark but that was a pretty dark line for me at this point in my cycle! I’m so confused. Why did it show up? And then disappear?

Louisa89614 · 03/05/2022 20:04

I’m also having lots of cramping, but not like AF cramps, but also I guess likely to be AF cramps…or perhaps all the spicy food I’ve had over the weekend 😂 I’m really pleased with myself for not testing yet this cycle as I’m normally crazy from like 7DPO. I’m thinking about not testing tomorrow morning as will only be 10DPO and wait till Friday instead…hate how crazy this whole process makes me. I’m such a planner and hate being out of control!

Lizm1990 · 03/05/2022 18:37

@bunnykins123 im feeling things but they could just be normal symptoms you get in your cycle, who knows. Lots of twinges stabbing pains pinching in my boobs and mainly left side of lower stomach, basically feels where I had pain post D&C so I’m pretty sure it’s my uterus. I’m getting other things too like my teeth are still sore and I’ve noticed today my veins are more prominent on my boobs but I had a load of symptoms that are similar last month and it was a BFN so guess I’m going to find out tomorrow 🤣

My2boysaremyworld · 03/05/2022 17:07

@bunnykins123 thank you

bunnykins123 · 03/05/2022 16:39

Totally normal @LuckyMoonstone. I can have a really nice juicy line in the morning and unless I have 3 hour hold / no drinking, my lines are non existent.

@My2boysaremyworld @Indianna2006 I'm so sorry that you're both going through this. I had the same with my 1st pregnancy (mmc at 10.5 weeks). I got really worried that it was lingering and researched online how to speed up HCG leaving my system. I'm sure they said green tea and exercise. Loads of water too.

@Lizm1990 @Louisa89614 good luck testing tomorrow ladies! I'm not going to test this cycle (mainly as another blank will just leave me really, really sad!) but also because I have no symptoms. Do any of you have any remarkable symptoms?!

LuckyMoonstone · 03/05/2022 12:34

Argh I just did another one and it’s totally blank. My wee was very diluted though as I drink a lot of water at work, it was so clear I knew it wouldn’t work properly. I’m gonna have to wait til this evening and dehydrate myself!

@theblueflowers sorry for your second loss.

so took another pregnancy test today in hope it may appear fainter. The pregnancy line before was bolder than control line. And now it’s equal. If not control line ever so slightly bolder.

so that’s a good thing right. I presume pregnancy tests go bold fairly early on in pregnancy. Like by 5 weeks pregnancy imagine it would be fairly bold. So hoping it means my hcg can’t be in the 1000s that I’ve seen a change in strength. So hopefully next week - 10 days it will fade out.

good luck to anyone testing soon or in FW.
can’t wait to get back in the “game” as such. Only way we win.

Hi Iv took a test once a week for the past 2 weeks since my miscarriage and mine are still dark!! My first one was stronger than my original pregnancy tests 😢 did another one yesterday and it's still dark but looks slightly lighter than last weeks so hoping like you it's going in the right direction

Lizm1990 · 03/05/2022 10:09

@theblueflowers ❤️❤️ Sounds like you are optimistic which is good! Way to protect yourself aswell from thoughts that aren’t helpful.

@Indianna2006 thats good you are right it should get lighter, I know when I got my period and then ovulated after my MMC I was so happy I could move on.

Im actually nervous about testing tomorrow, I’ll be 12dpo and keep worrying, I think I have poas fear 😩 but I need to know either way. @bunnykins123 what DPO are you? I think me and @Louisa89614 are testing tomorrow 🤞🤞

LuckyMoonstone · 03/05/2022 09:22

@bunnykins123 @Louisa89614 thank you both, that makes me feel a bit better! I’ve brought an OPK to work with me so I can do a test at exactly the same time as I did yesterday, about half past 12, so we’ll see! Still a blank circle on the digital this morning though. But last month I only had 4 days of flashing before my static so still plenty of time for it to start flashing, if I’m hoping to ovulate at the weekend.

bunnykins123 · 03/05/2022 08:42

@LuckyMoonstone I completely agree with @Louisa89614 I've had some months where they have been a bit jumpy before getting my peak. If you can be bothered, go online and look at the LH trajectory - it's a bit wobbly before you get a massive spike (which is peak).

@theblueflowers awh hun, so sorry to see you back here but a big cuddle from me 💕

@curliegirlie I'm so sorry AF has arrived. Hopefully next cycle will be a bit more normal after taking AC.

Louisa89614 · 03/05/2022 08:29

So sorry you find yourself back here @theblueflowers . It’s completely shit.
@LuckyMoonstone I know these strips can be frustrating but don’t be so deflated. I’ve attached mine here from this month and you can see CD13 is almost invisible, but I still got my peak on CD15.
LH doesn’t gradually build, and it can vary all through cycle until it surges before ovulation. These strips also say to use in the PM rather than FMU as it builds through the day, but I find if I’m going to get a peak soon then normally obvious already that morning as it is building. Hang in there xx

LuckyMoonstone · 03/05/2022 07:37

Well I’m confused and deflated this morning. My OPK is lighter than yesterday! I used FMU today vs afternoon yesterday but you’d think FMU would be best. But it’s barely there :( why would it get lighter?

Hi @theblueflowers im sorry you’ve been through such a tough time, it sounds like you’re coping really well though. And great that your body is back on track so soon, it’s good to get back to TTC if you’re ready but sounds like a good idea to not let yourself feel too pressured this cycle, just follow your body and see what happens

theblueflowers · 02/05/2022 16:45

Hello all,

I am back on this thread and joining the joy of TTC after loss yet again! I was here for the very first thread after a 7 week loss in December, fell pregnant and unfortunately had a second loss at 10 weeks a month ago.

I'm surprising myself with how well I am doing to be honest. I got my negative test a week ago, and wasn't sad, just happy that we could get on with it again!

We started off by saying that we were going to wait a cycle before trying again, however, I started tracking my cycle again 4 days ago, and got a static smiley today, and so that plan went right out of the window...

I am putting very little hope or pressure into this cycle, and am just happy that my body is doing what it needs to do.

LuckyMoonstone · 02/05/2022 16:12

@curliegirlie same here, I was dreading the idea of waiting another 3 whole weeks to ovulate! I never normally get any kind of line on an OPK this early so I really hope the AC is working! Tomorrow would be off to a good start if I can get a flashing smiley in the morning but we’ll see…

Avdd · 02/05/2022 15:59

I'm sorry to hear about your cp, I am only learning about this recently seems like it happens to alot of women, so it would be a postive pregancy test for a week or so?

I have had really dark opks yesterday cd 19 and today 20, but no ewcm to be seen?! same as last month. so frustrating, they could be positive but not ovulate?

x

curliegirlie · 02/05/2022 15:36

@LuckyMoonstone that looks promising! I’ve just ordered myself some. My last two cycles gave really peed me off!

Louisa89614 · 02/05/2022 15:31

@Lizm1990 that sounds sensible, and then hopefully weekend away will be a nice distraction either way. But fingers crossed this is your month! Thats sort of why I wanted to take this month off as didn’t want to be due at the same time as I had ERPC this January, but actually want a baby more than however triggering that might be. Would also love to be pregnant before my “due date” in August too. Will let you know how I get on Wednesday too. Good luck!

LuckyMoonstone · 02/05/2022 13:21

I’m on CD10 now and I think the agnus castus is helping, I’ve got quite a decent line on my OPK today (pic attached, I know it’s not near positive yet but when I tested on Saturday it was much lighter, barely visible). I’ve got a bit of stretchy CM too and mild cramps. So I’m really hopeful that ovulation will be around the CD14-15 mark instead of 20 something! Blank circle on CB digital but I think the first one is always blank because it has to determine your baseline. Hoping in the morning it will be flashing 🤞

curliegirlie · 02/05/2022 11:29

I don’t really know what my cycles are like this time round - I was (sort of) on the pill when I fell pregnant in March. But the first cycle was 30 days which is more in keeping with what they were like last time I was TTC. Over the 12 months I was TTC DD2 my cycles tended to be around 30/31ish days, with a couple of more random ones, and I ovulated all but one cycle. I think I’ve only ever had one cycle as short as this previously - historically I’ve always had to opposite problem! (Silly long cycles when TTC my first daughter).

As I don’t know whether I ovulated either of my last 2 cycles, I don’t know whether to start on agnus castus this month or just wait it out and see whether it’s more normal. I know AC certainly seemed to help me when TTC DD1…

Lizm1990 · 02/05/2022 11:27

@Louisa89614 im totally symptom spotting constantly, Premom app says AF is due this Thursday so I want to test Wednesday so 12dpo, I go away to Devon on Thursday and it was meant to be our last getaway before giving birth for my MMC so it’s bitter sweet but I want to enjoy our lil holiday, so I was contemplating waiting it out to see if AF arrives but im not sure I’ll be able to relax especially if it doesn’t show, I’ll be thinking about it constantly or checking down there. I also don’t want to test Thurs just incase it’s a BFN and it puts a downa on our hol 🤦‍♀️ You will have to say how you get on with testing 😊

Louisa89614 · 02/05/2022 10:14

Amazing news @Sassy144 ! Praying for a happy and healthy nine months for you but know this will be a really anxious time for you.
@curliegirlie so sorry your having strange cycles still. I know it’s hard but body must need some extra rest before it gets back to normal. Wine sounds like a great idea.
After saying I wouldn’t try this month and take it off, here I am symptom spotting at 8dpo. Hoping to make it till Wednesday at least before testing. You’re a few days ahead this month @Lizm1990 do you think you’ll test soon or wait until AF hopefully doesn’t show?
Welcome to all other newcomers too, sorry you are here but I’ve found this thread really useful to just read and dip in and out of, and feel less alone ❤

Lizm1990 · 02/05/2022 09:51

@curliegirlie gutted for you, how long are your cycles normally or do they change? Wine is a good distraction and got to focus on the positives otherwise it gets too much 🥰
