Possible squinter?

I can’t tell if there is the faintest hint of a line here or if I have a bad case of line eyes?

Possible squinter?

I see the line you are on about. That's a pity about the bleeding :(

When I looked back at the test from this morning an hour later, it had turned positive. Not an evap either as it had strong colour to the 2nd line. Started to get hopefully excited and was about to go to shops to buy an FRER to confirm, then within another hour or so started bleeding Sad proper bleeding too, not just spotting.

I wonder if we did conceive (hence late period) but something hasn’t been right (hence low hormone levels and BFNs)

Oh well. On to next month.

God that is so annoying!! You just want to know one way or another at this point.

ShuffleCase · 25/03/2022 07:23

We only DTD twice this month (due to DH being unwell, not covid related), and both times I think were in the fertile window. We last DTD 16 days ago.

Google says it can be up to 21 days from DTD to BFP. Guess I’ll order some more FRERs.

Agh still no AF and a BFN on a Tesco test with FMU.

AF is 4 days late now.

Confused

It took a week after AF was due for me to get a BFP, so there is still hope, you're not out until she arrives 🤞🏻My tests looked like yours at the start too. Really hope this is your month!

ShuffleCase · 24/03/2022 18:27

Grin haha I know!!

Still no sign of AF which is so bizarre. Tried a Tesco cheapie there but it’s BFN also 🤷‍♀️

Aw sorry to hear that. How come it isn't just as easy as secondary school lead us all to believe - unprotected sex 1 time at any random time during your cycle and boom pregnant! Best of luck on the next cycle

ShuffleCase · 24/03/2022 13:32

Tried the spare FRER with FMU today since it was lying there anyway, and it was another BFN. Still no period tho 🤷‍♀️

I am fairly sure I’m out but that’s ok. I’m going to have myself a glass of wine tonight I think!

Nyxxie · 23/03/2022 17:16

Sorry to hear it was negative @ShuffleCase, although still not out til AF shows. Maybe it's just because it wasn't FMU?

ShuffleCase · 23/03/2022 11:50

Unfortunately it’s a BFN on the FRER. Think my period must just be late. I bet it’ll make an appearance today

I promise to update. Delivery window is between now and 2.15 so could be waiting a while. I’ve impressed myself with my restraint at not driving to the shops to buy one first thing.

Ive had crazy cramping the past 3 days and it has stopped this morning. Hoping it’s a good sign.

🤞🏼🤞🏼

Oh, stay away AF! Hurry up Amazon!!

Nyxxie · 23/03/2022 09:07

Let us know how you get on with the FRER 🙂🤞

Sandinmyhooves · 23/03/2022 08:53

I see it. And I take ages to show up on those so it would be really faint even at 12dpo (when FRER lines are strong)

ShuffleCase · 23/03/2022 08:50

Based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend the One Step tests. A lot of my test strips have little indented marks on them (almost look like bite marks!) making them hard to read as I’m squinting at it thinking it that a mark or part of a line Confused

Still no AF and I’m officially late now so waiting on the arrival of 2 FRER from Amazon prime.

looks positive to me, genuinely looks clearer than the first one I got with my son on those tests.

irishfarmer · 22/03/2022 18:07

I got on grand with the one step ones. I did have a few uncertain ones at the start but I was testing way to early!! Also I left them for longer than your supposed to - only in my personal experience - I found the line on my BFP took over 30 mins to develop, when I was testing at 9 DPO. I found that in previous months where I wasn't pregnant if it was negative it didn't matter how long I left it, it stayed blank

ShuffleCase · 22/03/2022 17:45

Oh really?! Yes they are One Step brand. I wish I had a FRER for the morning but Amazon won’t be delivering till later in the day. So tempted to go buy one tonight Blush will try to resist.

Been getting cramping on and off for 4 days now and no sign of period.

BuchananBaby · 22/03/2022 17:16

@ShuffleCase if those are the one step tests they're awful! I got my bfp 2 days ago on an easy at home and a frer but the one step is the biggest squinter today so I wouldn't trust them.

I ordered the easy at home tests from Amazon next day delivery think they were £10 for 20

ShuffleCase · 22/03/2022 16:19

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Really hope it is a line. Don’t want to TTC next month as it would give me an Xmas due date, so will be 2 cycles till we can try again.

OP posts:
Nyxxie · 22/03/2022 16:14

I can see a faint line in both

ShuffleCase · 22/03/2022 16:14

Yes I have another cheap test I could do in the morning. Period due today. I’ve just ordered some FRER online that will be here by Thursday morning so could always take one then if no AF by then. Thanks!
