The clear blue digital said negative and then the strip inside looked pretty good??
Can someone give me some advice?
Shall I test again this evening
Should I keep doing it twice a day?
So worried that I'm not ovulation
It's the first time TTC and tracking my ovulation and im panicking Incase there's something wrong with me

Hi @MA676 ,

Those advanced tests work a bit different to normal OPKs they measure two hormones. So they let you know when you're on the run up to ovulation (flashing) and when you will be ovulating really soon (static ). They're supposed to tell you your most fertile week really.

Don't look at the strip inside the applicator, you can't interpret it the same as a normal opk as they're different.

When I use these I test once a day first thing in the morning while I'm getting blank circles and then once I start getting flashing smileys I test twice a day to catch that peak (static smiley).

I'm not sure what your cycles are like but just because you haven't peaked yet on CD12 does mean you won't ovulate , sometimes I don't peak until CD15-16 and I have quite 'normal' length cycles.

Also some people ovulate but their OPKs just don't pick it up, they're not 100% accurate with everyone. Some months you may just not ovulate for whatever reason also. Doesn't mean you never do.

If I were you I'd just test with these first thing in the morning until you get a flashing smiley and then twice from there.

To be honest though if you have regular sex you are covered anyway. The more I learn about ttc the less im bothering with testing and things, feel like it can be more of a hindrance than a help.

Xx

don't remove the strip from the machine to check... it doesn't give you anything. Promise. I use this. [/quote]
So shall I always ignore the 2 lines? And only look at the digital screen?

Did you test twice a day? If so what times x

@MA676 I didn't get my positive "peak" smiley until CD16 this cycle.
