8dpo and going insane

Need someone to stop me from symptom spotting and compulsively testing 😅 I'm 8dpo and tested today and yesterday both bfn. Constantly looking for symptoms but i know full well it could be pms! Dont want to talk to DH about it amd get his hopes up if its not my month!

Did a frer this morning because i also have no self control and bfn. But i know 9dpo is too early and i may not have even implanted yet.
Lower back pain and cramps today, but again could be pms. Towing the fine line of not getting my hopes up and not getting disheartened. Gonna have a cleaning blitz this afternoon to take my mind off it all.

I’m 9dpo and have peed on about 1,000 sticks already with no luck. Have absolutely no self control but I’ve made my peace with that and have a bulk-buy of useless one step strips to cheaply satisfy my urge.

I have agreed with myself that I am not going to test until the day after AF is due.

I tell myself, every time I even contemplate it, that knowing whether I am pregnant or not (and likely with an inconclusive BFN), isn't actually going to change the outcome of whether I am pregnant or not.
This morning, c9dpo, I had a moment where I contemplated it and I just repeated that mantra to myself.

I have found that having a firm date when I would first test, enables me to be strong.

Now if only I could be as strong with not snacking Grin

@Gillseybear that looks really promising - fingers crossed it is your BFP.

Thank you @CatLady93 and @KatyKey, a couple of other people I have spoken to have said that but I really do not want to get my hopes up this month to much.

@Gillseybear that does sound like a good sign for 11dpo, implantation can happen anywhere between 6-12dpo! Fingers crossed!
@Catlady93 I'm really crampy and nauseous which i know can both be pms but ive got another 6 days before af due and normally dont start with these pms symptoms until about 2-3 days before.
Although! Just went outside and cos its freezing i got dagger pains in my nipples which I've only had when i was pregnant before (ended in mmc at 11 weeks)
Think I'll probs try to hold off a few more days and test 12dpo on Wednesday and again on Friday if no bfp and no sign of af.

Hello both, I'm 8dpo today as well!! TTC #1. I've had some twinges here and there but I've definitely had those with PMS before too, it's just impossible to tell isn't it 😭 When are you both planning to test? Or will you wait for AF?

Hey OP,

I know the feeling. I have had such positive symptoms all month and have been spotting for a couple of days and the tonight it got heavier out of nowhere and I was gutted but I have put a ST on and it's gone back to spotting but I am cramping really badly in my lower back, hips and I have really achy boobs tonight. So I am wondering if it could be implantation bleeding.
Sorry if tmi but I have attached a couple of pics below to show what it's like when I wipe and it's not enough to show on underwear or pads.
Am here if you want somebody to chat to about everything. As I know the feeling as all I want to do is test but I am trying to refrain from testing as AF is due Wednesday. I am currently 11DPO
