Hey, so after reading the sperm meets eggplan. Unfortunately we had a misscarriage in Nov21 amd ready to ttc again and have decided to try the SMEP. Has anyone got any success stories or currently trying the SMEP.?

I thought there was a group on fb for it but I can't find it now. Xx

We tried the SMEP last cycle and ahh it didn't work! Tried it again this month but with the exemption that we dtd on the day i had a high opk as i knew it would turn peak in a few hours (learnt my lesson in prevous cycles), wo we did it 4 nights in a row instead of 3. Lets see, fingers crossed. I dont know what is left now that i haven't tried to get pregnant🤔🤞

Hi I hope its okay to join, this is my cycle #2 on trying for baby #1. Tried a bit last year but this is our second month proper trying. Going to try SMEP this month as im on CD 6. Been trying to prepare ourselves for the journey. A little nervous to begin. Wishing Baby dust for all the ladies on here

@RMS0209 thank you! Initially it hit me really hard as I don’t think I’d truly realised just how common miscarriages are so I felt like I’d somehow failed, but we’ve kept at it and have tried to take the fact we can actually get pregnant as a positive. Fingers crossed for this month!

@Lbeee92 Thanks, I’m feeling kinda excited this month as it feels like we’ve really tried to cover all bases. I think this 2ww will be harder than most Grin I’ve heard great things about SMEP so hoping it’ll be our month!

that's ok, do not panic... I was CD18 or CD19 back in Jan before I got a peak, I hope you have still been DTDing... hats off if so I'd be exhausted by then. Least it's nearly th weekend almost a bit easier to relax then isn't it
I'm fine thanks for asking... CD2 😬 just ordering bits for this month, waiting for AF to go but relaxing before the stress.

Please can I join? We’re on our first month of trying SMEP following a miscarriage at the start of the year Sad We’re on our last day of enforced BDing before the 2ww begins. Absolutely shattered, and found it all felt a bit regimented but hoping it’ll be worth it in the end 🤞🏻

Or us, SMEP meant that by the time ovulation occurred at day 15, we were somewhat out of steam having been DTD sine day 8. We completely missed our optimum time, because we were too exhausted and poor DH had nothing left to give!

@Lbeee92 I don't have faith for this month, only DTD peak day and OV day.. but my OPK's were strange this month! But SMEP for next month if need be.

I find that my cycles are very strange now too, hopefully we get back to normal soon! Well hopefully we get BFP's soon Grin xx

Since my mc my cycles have gone all to pot and I've missed it the last two months. Iv gone from a 28day cycle to anywhere up to 40 now. So I'm going be on the ball with the OPKS this month to figure it out. Xx

I'm 6DPO... so just waiting, not wanting to jinx incase this is my month but not feeling it so getting the ball ready to roll for SMEP next month.
What day do you normally peak on)? I was 14 in Dec & Jan but now I'm day 16/17.. bizarre xx
