Making a new thread from the March group ♥️

I'm on CD 1, Cycle 11 of TTC our first 👶🏼
Had a MC in February
Ectopic last July with right tube removal
I have endometriosis (and I suspect low progesterone)

Trying to stay positive and think fresh cycle, my body probably needed this after the MC and its a fresh start ✨

Baby dust ✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨

Thank you for sharing @Diamondbabe & congratulations on your pregnancy 🎉

When I got pregnant with dd, I also used the clear blue digital, if I remember correctly ( it was 3 years ago!) we dtd in a similar pattern to what you described. (back when I had very regular 28 day cycle😫)

My periods only came back last May (after 16 months!) I’m still bf dd who is nearly 2 and a half, twice a day and not for a long amount. I was abit worried it was causing my cycles to be abit crazy ( I had a couple of cycles with no ov) but managed to conceive last Oct ( sadly ended with a mmc in Jan)

We would be very happy with a December baby! I agree, it would be magical, no one in my (huge) family has a December birthday so it would be a 1st if we did manage to conceive this cycle🍀

Purple29 · 11/03/2022 16:07

@Diamondbabe congrats on the pregnancy.

How old is your DS? Mine has just turned 2 and I'm still breastfeeding also, I would happily stop now but he just wants before sleep, and it does help him go down.

My period is regular and I did conceive in Dec, but was a loss.

Diamondbabe · 11/03/2022 14:22

Not sure if this helps anyone but if it does then it's worth it. This is what I did and got pregnant.

I use the clear blue digital test, and did it for a few months so knew I tended to get a static smiley around day 13/14.

I got my static smiley on the 24th January and we did the deed 20th, 22nd, 24th and 25th.

Pretty similar to the "purple method" famous on here.

The clear blue digital is really good, I only used to then do it when I got to like the morning of day 12 and I did it then morning and night to not miss the peak. So one packet lasted me about 4/5 months as I checked my cycle for a few months before we actually started trying. I'd really recommend this.

I hope this helps anyone.

I was also breastfeeding my little boy, still am 🙄, so I don't think that does impact if you are getting regular periods.

Also my little boy is a December baby, and it's really magical around Christmas so I'd really not let it put you off. If I hadn't tried that month I wouldn't have him!

Wishing you all luck xxx

CD8 here, thinking about starting OPKs again tomorrow

Climbingthelaundrymountain · 11/03/2022 14:07

Hi, CD8 of cycle 2 TTC #4. Last cycle was longer than usual. I love the idea of a December baby, hopefully it happens for us!

Lifeafterloss22 · 11/03/2022 14:07

@Diamondbabe this is really reassuring to hear! I am very similar to you, no athlete but I feel so much better in myself for keeping fit. Love the joe wickes story on day of birth hahah! X

Decaffe · 11/03/2022 12:50

Hi folks! Coming over from the March thread. AF threatening an appearance any day now.

There is a chance we will have to skip TTC altogether this cycle as I will be having a HSG (due to the X-ray), but I should get confirmation of this from the hospital next week.

If we are able to TTC this month, then I am considering investing in a Fertiliy! I also think we might be stopping DTD too early so I will make sure we DTD on ovulation day and the day after. So those are the changes I’ll be making this month, or next month if it comes to it.

Let’s hope it’s a lucky thread! 🍀

Diamondbabe · 11/03/2022 10:06

@Lifeafterloss22 I conceived my son when I was exercising a lot and I'm pregnant again and just carried on as normal. I think if it's your norm it's absolutely fine. To be honest I'm a bit believer that exercise is so good for your body and kind it's a positive thing. I was at the gym until I was 38 weeks pregnant and only stopped because they locked them down. The morning I gave birth I did joe wicks lol and I'm no professional athlete lol I just feel so much better when I do. Like you say you can't put your life on hold every month, that's why I still drunk ha ha.

dani9031 · 11/03/2022 09:44

Hi everyone, hope it's okay to jump on this thread. I'm coming over from the March thread as I'm now officially out this month as AF has arrived today, 2 days early 😭 lots of baby dust and hope to everyone for lots of BFPs in April xx

alwaysseeingstars · 11/03/2022 09:33

@FreckledMouse and @MangoLipstick - thank you both for the optimism! Might have to try again tonight as a just in case Smile
Fingers crossed for both of you!! 🤞🏼♥️

MangoLipstick · 11/03/2022 09:27

Morning all!

CD3 for me @FreckledMouse I’m keeping everything crossed for us all this cycle.

@alwaysseeingstars
When we got bfp with dd, we only managed 3 times in fertile wk. Dh was away with work for 2 days (over ov!) so we dtd the night before & in the morning before he set off! I was sure we were out. You are still in for a chance!

FreckledMouse · 11/03/2022 08:54

Hi @Bluemilan ♥️ I have a good feeling for us this cycle 🤞🏼✨

@alwaysseeingstars happy O day 🎉
I got my bfp by bd peak day only, it only takes one time 🤞🏼💕

Hi @FreckledMouse CD5 for me too!

alwaysseeingstars · 11/03/2022 08:43

Morning @FreckledMouse & all Smile
Glad AF has left - now you get the more fun part of the month!

@Bluemilan sorry to hear about AF, fingers crossed for the next one 🤞🏼

Finally O day today (CD21) after 9 days of flashing smiles then a static yesterday (yep I know I shouldn't have carried on haha, I'm still in the process of trying to understand my cycle!) - managed to keep a sleepy DH awake last night to at least DTD! Not expecting much as only DTD yesterday and CD16 but 🤞🏼

Bluemilan · 11/03/2022 07:13

Hey @FreckledMouse . Af arrived 2 days early so cd 1 for me! Glad she's left the building for you!

FreckledMouse · 11/03/2022 00:56

Hey everyone ♥️
How are we all ?
I'm CD 5 today, AF has left the building so bracing myself for the fertile window 😅🤞🏼

@Lifeafterloss22

Thankyou *@Purple29*!
Your welcome. I think what it means by over exert yourself is its not the time to start running, but if your already a keen runner it should be fine. X
Lifeafterloss22 · 10/03/2022 21:31

Thankyou @Purple29!

Purple29 · 10/03/2022 21:03

@Lifeafterloss22 don't know if this helps but the month I conceived my ds, I was in the tww and I did the beast race?! A 10km obstacle race where you are dunked into and swim out of Loch Ness?!

Lifeafterloss22 · 10/03/2022 20:39

Ladies, can I ask if anybody does anything different in the two week wait? I am a keen runner, which helps me physically and mentally. I have spent a lot of time reading about implantation etc and not over exerting yourself in that period.

One half of me thinks I can’t put my life on hold every month and the other says do as much as you can! Just wondering if you do anything different? Or if you still to exercise or anything else?

BeeYellowMumma · 10/03/2022 08:00

@sherbetmelon it's the same here, we were talking about going for it, but know how busy the month is, and selfishly or not this holiday has been there for 18 months to do a Christmas themed one with our daughter before she goes school the following year. So really wouldn't want to be too close to it with a c section and newborn! December is always a tricky month and I feel your conflict!!

Greenwhale · 10/03/2022 07:52

Joining as AF has arrived today. Never thought I'd go for a Christmas baby but I will take any due date to have a baby now so we're going to give it our best shot this month!

Bluemilan · 10/03/2022 07:21

I'm hoping on if that's ok?
11dpo and bfn so just waiting for af to arrive. I find time between bfn and cd1 soo frustrating!
Good luck this cycle everyone 🤞🏼🤞🏼

sherbetmelon · 09/03/2022 22:48

@Purple29 thank you! X

sherbetmelon · 09/03/2022 22:47

Hi @BeeYellowMumma I'm really unsure what to do this month, Dec is a really busy time in our family birthday/celebration wise so not sure if I want to add more pressure to that 😖 it's so hard because I'm desperate to be pregnant again.
