Making a new thread from the March group ♥️

I'm on CD 1, Cycle 11 of TTC our first 👶🏼
Had a MC in February
Ectopic last July with right tube removal
I have endometriosis (and I suspect low progesterone)

Trying to stay positive and think fresh cycle, my body probably needed this after the MC and its a fresh start ✨

Baby dust ✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨

Thanks @Nyxxie it can be hard can't it, I'm cycle two as well.

It's been on my mind so long now about wanting another, that I'm starting to feel deflated about it not happening.

TeddyBeans · 24/03/2022 17:51

@Hopefulprincess I can see it!

Nyxxie · 24/03/2022 17:50

@Hopefulprincess I can see a shadow! 🤞

@allthingssparkly you're not alone! I'm really really down about everything today and not feeling hopeful at all this month. It's so hard and I'm only on cycle 2!!

allthingssparkly · 24/03/2022 17:30

Feeling so deflated today ladies, hoping I'm not alone!

I honestly want to be pregnant with my 3rd and not hopeful of it happening 😕

Hopefulprincess · 24/03/2022 17:11

Can anyone see the squinter? 😫
@Purple29 thank you ❤ how have you been getting on?
Been doing ok, still not quite over everything but getting there. CD 19 now so in the horrible tww.

Rhianne18 · 23/03/2022 17:54

@alwaysseeingstars that sounds like a good idea, least then the doctor can advise you! I had a few pre-conception appointments as I needed to come off medication, it was helpful to just have a chat with them too!

Oh exciting, I hope it’s positive too, have you got any FRER tests? Maybe try one of those?

@Graceybaby hope this month is your month!

With regards to getting tests done, we’ve decided to go straight to the clinic, due to my DH age we want to get him checked in depth! I have my appointment next week and my DH has his the week after and we have a consultation appointment on 7th. Wish us luck 🤞🏼 I’m so nervous but will feel better knowing rather than wondering!

alwaysseeingstars · 23/03/2022 15:43

@Rhianne18 not really, I was 18 at the time and I must admit with shame I didn't take much of it in at the time - the issues they mentioned were things I had no idea about! I had a couple of ops after that for scar tissue and nothing was mentioned, I need to book in for a GP appointment I think to see if they think it's worth looking into.
Had 2 very faint lines on Clearblue tests today (12DPO) - the first one showed after 7-8 mins and the 2nd one just now showed within 2 mins - but they're not as thick as the control line so I'm assuming they're evaps?! I have no experience with this so unsure..
@Cecelia90 I also recommend what @Willow1982 said, get another pack and use the reader in that whilst the first is blocked :)

Willow1982 · 23/03/2022 14:06

Hi @Graceybaby thanks for the welcome, nice to share this crazy journey!xx
@Purple29 I always find it reassuring when there’s someone if similar or same age to me going through the same xx
@Cecelia90 hi there, I use the cb digital tests and it won’t let you test with in 48 hours, the static face will stay on your test that long… I recommend buying another pack so you can use a new test stick the next day, that’s what I tend to do! Hope that’s helps xx

kizzy97 · 23/03/2022 13:52

@Purple29 thank you ❤ how have you been getting on?

MangoLipstick · 23/03/2022 13:03

Good luck @Decaffe

@Graceybaby glad you are in a good place & good luck with your new cycle! 🤞🏼💚

I’m on CD 15 now & think I’m going to ov in the next couple of days, so quite a few days earlier then last cycle. The joys of having irregular periods!

Graceybaby · 23/03/2022 11:25

Hey ladies, Here TTC baby #2 Cycle #1(hopefully)

Finished my contraceptive last week and my breakthrough bleed has been and gone so just a case of waiting to see if/when I ovulate this month but the fact I'm not taking any contraception and that we are officially TTC is an exciting feeling! #feelinghappy

Purple29 · 23/03/2022 10:54

@kizzy97 so sorry af turned up. It is so so hard not to feel deflated. Ttc is full heavy and full of ups and downs. Groups like as good because people get it. Hope you feel better and sending baby dust!!!

Hopefulprincess · 23/03/2022 10:06

@Cecelia90 I’d still test so you know the peaks passed. 24/48 hours till ovulate yes :) good luck

kizzy97 · 23/03/2022 09:44

Welp af came for me bang on time this month so now jumping over here from the March thread! Cycle 7 ttc #2, getting harder and harder not to get deflated

Cecelia90 · 23/03/2022 08:12

Hey, I’m looking for some advice about the clear blue ovulation tests it’s my first time using them. So this morning I got my first static smiley face CD15 😀 but is is common to not get any flashing ones and go straight to static? Does it mean I ovulate in the next 24/48 hours? And should I not test tomorrow morning or the day after because the test will stay on static smiley? Sorry if I’m being a bit stupid

Hopefulprincess · 22/03/2022 20:49

@RSmamaa I’m so suprised at them it’s 2 different branded cheapies getting positive and negative on both 😭 I think I’m going to be out this month 💔

Rhianne18 · 22/03/2022 18:03

@Nyxxie that’s so sweet for him to do that, well done that man! oh I’m the same, I worry about everything, but I think it’s also natural for us to worry about conceiving when it’s something that we’re so desperate to do! I agree, it sounds like a less stressful way which I know my husband would prefer!

@alwaysseeingstars have they given you anymore information about the appendectomy and if it’ll effect you conceiving? Definitely something that’ll play on your mind as I know it would mine! Amazing news that you ovulated and so good that you’ve now got that reassurance! Thank you, I’m going to have another look at them.

@Leanne053 Yes, it will definitely be cheaper, we’re going to have a chat tonight about the different options of tests and then decide which one we think is best for us to go for, I’ll keep you all updated!

Thank you for being so welcoming! 🥰

Leanne053 · 22/03/2022 17:11
@Leanne053 Thank you for that, I didn't realise you can do tests via the post. Do you know if they offer anything like that for males or if it requires a visit to the clinic?

I'm going to have a little research :)
It will certainly be a cheaper starting point. In terms of male fertility tests I know very little I'm afraid so can't help there sorry x

alwaysseeingstars · 22/03/2022 16:48

@Nyxxie that's lovely that he took it upon himself to do that!! Good man Smile That sounds like a good non-stressful test too, my DH is terrified of the Dr's so maybe further down the line I can get him to try that!!

@Rhianne18 I'm TTC #1, cycle 2. With the irregular periods and an appendectomy that I was told may have caused some issues with the fallopian tubes, I'm terrified of not being able to conceive! So we'll see, but it's definitely put my mind at rest knowing I ovulated this month at least. I ordered the Progesterone Ovulation test, and the Advanced Female Hormone tests. Let me know how you get on :)

Nyxxie · 22/03/2022 16:32

@Rhianne18 it was from Amazon I think. It was along the lines of a pregnancy test, ie 2 lines means good/normal sperm count. I didn't even know he was going to do it tbh, it was something he decided to do and just told me after. I though it was quite sweet that he'd thought of it - I hadn't even worried about his fertility, too worried about my own (for no particular reason! 🤣)

Rhianne18 · 22/03/2022 16:21

@Nyxxie Thank you for sharing. Where did he get this from? Was it helpful? Did you get reassurance from it?

Rhianne18 · 22/03/2022 16:20

@alwaysseeingstars Oh 11dpo, hoping AF don't show up for you! Are you trying for your 1st? How many cycles have you tried for?

Yes, well he's willing at the moment, we'll see if it's the same when it comes to it.

I've had a look on Medichecks, they do a male check too, which I'm going to do some research to see if it's just as reliable as a sperm analysis.

Which female tests did you order? There's a few to choose from I'm unsure which is best.

Nyxxie · 22/03/2022 16:09

@Rhianne18 my OH managed to get himself a fertility test online, I think it just measured sperm count, so not as in depth as you might get at a clinic but might be worth it for some reassurance?

alwaysseeingstars · 22/03/2022 15:57

@Rhianne18 I wish I could track BBT, but have such dodgy sleep patterns it wouldn't work!
Not yet, apparently it has to be taken between day 2 and day 5 of AF - difficult to say with irregular cycles but as I know I'm 11DPO I would imagine it would be in the next few days?! Who knows Smile

It certainly can't hurt getting him tested, and if he's willing to get tested that's half the battle!!
