Hoping For a BFP in April

Hi guys... hope everyone's doing ok.
Jumping on from the march thread. AF finally showed
Cd1 here we go. Irregular cycles so over on CD60 last cycle Let's see how long ovulation takes this time round.

@RSmamaa are they normally like this every month? It looks like your trying to ovulate but you havnt yet unless you are ovulating twice 🤷‍♀️ Which happens . Cd 14 was close I wonder if missed the peak as the window for it is so small . Then a resurge hmm 🤔

This is torture 🥺 it’s darker than yesterday but still a bit faint what’s going on

Hi all been a bit distant. Hope I haven't missed any BFPs! I'm on CD 18 now and absolutely no sign of ovulation yet. Really hope I get a peak over the next few days whilst I'm off work! My OPKs seem to get darker and then go low again 🥱

I honestly don't know what to think this cycle, we've hardly dtd. So I'm not hopeful 😩 but in comparison to last cycle I've completely taken the pressure off/not thought about it half as much as I did in Feb.

According to the app I'm in my fertile window too but I'm not using opks or bbt testing so I suppose it's a wait to see if my period arrives in April and in the meantime try and keep dtd.

@MangoLipstick thanks, it is hard to describe how it feels. But your right it is so much more common than we think. My health visitor was amazing and my gp has also been good. But there's not enough support available for women post partum.

I have no idea why people think its ok to ask such personal questions when they have no idea of people's circumstances.

I am reluctant to make him stop, hes a fussy eater and I know how good it is for him. Breastmilk is amazing stuff!! I am very proud of how far I've managed. It's been an incredibly hard but rewarding journey. But I do want my body back now. So conflicting.

I’m sorry to hear about your PTSD. I won’t pretend I know how you feel, but my younger sister had PTSD & my close friend has it after a traumatic labour & birth 2 years ago. It affects more women then I think people realise.

Do you feel you have been well supported?

Why do people think it’s ok to say things like? I’ve also had ‘when are you having another one?’ ‘Your dc can’t be an only child’ and ‘I thought you would have had another one by now’

Do you feel unable to stop bf? It’s a hard decision isn’t it, but I hope you don’t feel bad or guilty if you decide to. To get this far is incredible & it’s ok to want your boobs back to yourself again or just want to stop because you don’t want to do it anymore.

@MangoLipstick I'm still bf my 2 year old. I am really at a low point with it and wish he would stop.

I've had a really hard week this week. I have PTSD from having my son and a stay in nicu, seem to have had a bit of a relapse and not been coping all that well!! I had tried to go back to work and so many people asking about when baby no 2 was, or I thought you were pregnant questions!!!

Frer still the same today so so sooo faint it’s almost undetectable 😞 think I’m joining april too no af but lines are not getting stronger so I’m calling chemical huff huff best go get sanitary products in the food shop . I say joining april but he did say he was probably done now he’s 41 nearly and wants to be young enough to enjoy life so maybe that’s the end for me 🤷‍♀️

We have been ttc dc no.2 since last May, once af came back (after having our dd)
I fell pregnant on cycle 5 (with irregular periods and a couple months no ovulation) but sadly had a mmc at 12 wks in Jan)

It sometimes feels like a long time to be ttc but I remind myself it is actually a ‘normal’ timeframe & will happen✨✨
Positive thinking.

I’m 36 & still bf dd who is 2.5, a couple times a day, so have to add into the mix! 🥴

I had a Google and it certainly doesn't seem like implantation. Yeah I'll keep recording and see if there's any patterns. Thank you for your reply :)

I’d give it another couple of months monitoring (unless of course you get your BFP) and you may notice a pattern in your cycles, although what you describe could of course be implantation bleed?? And of course if you feel very worried by it speak to a doctor, but I’d monitor for a few months more xx

Feeling the deflation of mid TWW right now!! AF due on 1st, iv got a whole week to go!! No idea how many DPO I am today as I didn’t use OPKs for the first month in a year as trying to lessen the pressure!
Anyone else get disheartened when your so aware of symptoms and you just don’t feel a thing!!!☹️xx

I haven't really payed great attention to my cycle before ttc and now I'm getting a little concerned. So this month I spotted dark brown blood on Monday evening, bled normally on Tuesday, lightly on Wednesday and then today a very small amount of dark brown blood but that's it. So really my period lasted only two days? Is this a worry 🤔

@ladybuggoldfinch so sorry your feeling the same way too, it's so rubbish.

Trying to remain positive about it as a whole is hard, I've tried not to obsess too much this cycle but at the same time it's not easy when it's something I really want to happen. 😓

I cried and cried last night when I was talking to my OH about it, I feel men don't see it the same as women though.

@Nyxxie @TeddyBeans il retest tomorrow this will be it now he’s early 40s says he’s done so hoping for the last one 🤞 and that it’s sticky 🤞

@allthingssparkly I keep telling myself that 2 months really isn't that long but time does seem to stand still when TTC and it feels like I've been trying forever! When I think it could take a year or more it just seems so scary.

Trying to stay positive and hope you somehow manage to as well. It's great that you've had 2 already so you know there should be no problem I guess? I just need to find some patience.. 5DPO today and dying to know one way or the other

@allthingssparkly horrible ttc then you seem to see babies everywhere! Keep faith it is worth the wait when you get there 💜 never thought I’d get my last son after losing 4 at various stages consecutively and the month after cremating my baby girl he came and was perfect . It’s really hard on the soul ttc always take time for you and if you need to cry let it out. Hugs xx
