Hoping For a BFP in April

Hi everyone, I’m just updating on here from the March group - I got my BFP! 🥰

It didn’t show up until 12dpo in the evening and I had been testing each day (because I’m mental haha) since 8dpo. Was faint on an Asda’s own brand but using the same sample, I got an unmistakable positive result on ClearBlue digi.

If it helps anyone for April’s TWW, my most obvious sign was strong unusual cramping at 5/6dpo (unusual for that time in my cycle but also unusual in that it was very consistent and persistent, low level cramping - not sharp like a period can be) followed by around 4 days of brown spotting with no sign of AF. I kept thinking I was out!

My temp was high but I felt so cold! Couldn’t sleep, needed lots of blankets, then when I finally got to slept I slept DEEP and hard for hours. Then exhausted again 7 hours later!

Breasts only really got tender and full and veiny just before taking the test at 12dpo. Prior to that - nothing out of the ordinary to note.

Cervix is not feeling unusually high or soft. HOWEVER (weird thing I’ve noticed) my vagina feels swollen and puffy inside.

I just took one with my normal brand. Showing up 0.44 now. I think I might miss the peak overnight!

How would you interpret this LH test? It's a different brand to what I'm using. Would you say it is negative or getting high?

So I woke with blood on pad I thought yep af helloooo still awful cramps! Iv been loo just now there’s 1 spot on the pad 🤨 I normally use tampons but wanted to check flow so now I’m not sure what’s going on normally in full flow by now surely can’t get implantation bleeding on 14/15dpo ? It’s there bright red when go loo. Can’t even ask anyone from work still on maternity doubt they’d be pleased 😂

@kizzy97 here with you CD4 onto another month for me too. Expecting to ovulate on cd17-19 ish xxx

CD19 today and 2nd day of EWCM!!! Wooop. OPK looked slightly darker this morning but still only scored 0.32 😒. I'm going to check it again next time I use the bathroom. Just want to ovulate so the next countdown can start 😬😬

Welp CD4 and af finished up yesterday so lets see how this cycle goes

Evening all, I dropped off the thread for a bit due to work stress and stuff - will have a read through to catch up.

CD15 (now 16 as it's post midnight) and only just got EWCM so it seems my regular 28 day cycle is now out the window for the third month in a row. Tempted to start OPKs next month to see what's going on.

My alternation plan went out the window pretty quickly as well. DP had his covid booster on Tuesday and it knocked him for 6. So far we have attempted 3 lots of AI and DTD on CD10, 13 and 15.

I don't have a very good feeling about this month 🙁 will probably try to get 1-2 more attempts in during this FW. Sending love to you all!

@MangoLipstick I had CBT and it was brilliant, however I think the new trauma of an ectopic and the fact I've not told my therapist about one of my triggers because of how it makes me feel has meant I have relapsed a bit.

I dont really tell anyone about this trigger. It makes me feel so awful!!!

@HopefulPrincess I'm so sorry your feeling like this. If the pain is really bad please do call someone to get seen ASAP!!! You have all of us to talk too x

@MangoLipstick no I’m on my own tonight! Typical 😞 really getting quite painful now whole stomach cramping and backache nothing on my underwear yet only when I check . Just put pjs on so atleast comfortable now. I googled ‘don’t do that’ and I’m a biker it says riding motorbikes can affect implantation Iv been riding a lot past few weeks well I don’t normally but I didn’t know this so now I’m thinking was it that 🤷‍♀️ The test from this am is really obvious now it’s dried 🥺

Please don't feel deflated lord of people get positives after not having a single symptom.

I’m glad you had good support. It’s so important. My friend had to have CBT before she started to feel more herself.

You are right, Bf is wonderful and the benefits are marvellous but if it is making you start to feel fed up, you need to think of yourself too.
I understand it won’t be as easy in practice if dc will only eat certain things.

I would like to try & drop the night time feed soon - I think she could sleep without it as she kind of uses my boobs like a dummy, then she will roll over and go to sleep on her own after about 5 minutes. She will wake up a couple of times in the night and sometimes needs my boobs to help help get back to sleep (we co sleep most of the night)
It’s not a problem as we generally all sleep well but I’m thinking if I was to fall pregnant again, then it will be more difficult, we will all be waking one another up!

Iv got awful cramps and blood in cm 🥺😢 actually crying now Iv just seen it went and brought more tests today aswell

I'm CD22, so I'm guessing 9dpo, I don't use opks so just go with my cycle. I just found I had quite watery CM and a slight pink tinge when I wiped?! 🤞 this is good signs.

just joining the thread after MC. I’m still getting very very faint positives ie the HCG isn’t quite out of my system but hoping it’ll be soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻. Haven’t read the thread yet and always find it very hard to keep up as they always move so quickly but just wanted to say hello xx

I'm CD5 now and feeling calm; although I know I'll start to obsess again during the TWW.

I do feel lucky I currently have a regular cycle and that it's usually 26 or 27 days so I don't have a huge wait.

When I was waiting for my cycles to start again after DS, they were long and irregular and it was so frustrating, so I feel PPs' pain on this one.

It adds a whole new dimension when you have to wait longer for AF to show

@RSmamaa I've always had irregular periods never really got a proper answer from anyone although I was told it looks like I could have pcos but it was never confirmed or anything 🤷🏻‍♀️
It makes it so hard to track anything as some times I can go 4-6 months without a period

@2019Mama are they irregular for a reason or is it normal for you? X

@Hopefulprincess my cycles are quite long. Last two were 36 and 37 days so I would have ovulated day 25-27 those cycles 😭😭 another week to go here if that's the case!
