@mariabombia I actually did find it painful! I wasn't expecting to and had little bruises the next day. I did conceive the next cycle (and had my DS) but I don't think it was the acupuncture.
I personally wouldn't do it again but I've heard lots of positive stories from others.

@Hopefulprincess have you spoken to the dr lovely? Maybe you should just to be on the safe side. So sorry for your loss xx

Irl you can see it . So question is after a light period why am I still getting faint positives . I tested as i feel nauseous and exhausted a lot so now i fear I havnt mc properly

@mariabombia I had a cheap GroupOn for acupuncture a few years ago. I don't think it was specifically for Fertility. The acupuncturist did ask why I was there though and seemed to incorporate that into the treatment.

I just started to get my LH rise (on the paper strips) so hopefully ovulating in the next couple of days. We're trying SMEP again this month so fingers crossed we manage it!

Can anyone see that?

Urgg AF showed up yesterday. It's kind of significant being the 6th failed cycle & knowing now that we won't be having a baby this year but weirdly it's the first month in a while where I haven't cried. I think before I felt shocked when it didn't happen and now I think I'd feel shocked if it did. Can't believe how quickly I've become pessimistic about the whole thing!

Looking into fertility acupuncture next cycle but omg it's so expensive.

I started taking a load of supplements last cycle as I have a really short period (always have) so looked into what could possibly help the lining if that was an issue & I have to say this AF is extra painful.

@Brunette1989 I feel like I could benefit from some of that!! Glad it's helped take the edge off a bit. Best of luck with this fertile window. Not doing OPKs last month help me relax a bit, we just dtd every other day /3 days. Maybe try that for a cycle if you haven't.

@Loopz66 I'm seriously considering getting that done private. I just feel like it would be massive peace of mind. Ive heard mixed things on it but I know it's meant to be over quickly. Im such a wimp so everything is painful to me haha.

So Iv finished bleeding now ! The strangest period! Considering was a chemical was no clots and was fairly light 🤔 lasted 4 days . First 2 days cramping was unreal but no cramps after. Today my boobs are very tingly and that’s new too so what’s going on with my body Iv no idea but onwards and upwards according to app my fertile window starts in 3 days my cycles have gotten short it seems. Il start opks in couple days he’s ok to try for a couple more months but no stress no pressure if it doesn’t happen Wel call it a day . Hope everyone’s ok

I took a test just in case and BFN. Must just be my cycles settling after ectopic. I've bought opks just to see if things are back on track. Started floradix and going for more acupuncture.

@Kitty901 we are almost on the same cycle then, this TWW is going to drag!!!

TTC no 1 for the last year

Also lost my mind last year stressing so taking a relaxed approach

I've had all the tests had the HSG one last month I think everyones experience is quite different

Congrats to all the BFPs! I feel sick, everything smells and tastes weird, I'm dizzy and tired. Exactly like my last 2 pregnancies. However I've had some brown spotting which tells me AF is on her way. And I've done a few cheapie tests which have been negative. So I reckon my symptoms are down to having recently had Covid or I'm getting ill again!

@Brunette1989 omg I’m also 33 in April 🤣🥳 sounds like our situations are very very similar! Yeh it is really hard not knowing when it’s your 1st your trying for, but let’s try and stay positive 🙌❤️ I think the obsessing hasn’t helped I’m really trying to relax a bit more because i really sucked the fun out of it for awhile last year

@Mariabombia I’ve not had the tubes test just yet due around May so I’ll let you know how it is ☺️ Hoping it’s not too painful 🙈 my other half is waiting on his results had the SA last week
I know hopefully you won’t need to get the rest of the tests 🥰 the swabbing can definitely cause spotting so I wouldn’t rule this month out just yet 🤞❤️ I was gutted yesterday when AF arrived but I was also really crampy and exhausted, now that I’m on CD2 I’m feeling ready take on this month 💪 keep us posted about this month 🙏

@Loopz66 I think from reading comments we're in a similar position (sorry if I've got confused). I'm 32, 33 in April TTC our first so it's very scary with it taking so long and not knowing if there's more to it really, hard not to get stressed about it.

@Mariabombia when I spoke to the doctor she put me on sertraline (think that's how you spell it) as she said that was what she would be comfortable putting pregnant women on if they were struggling so therefore would be happy putting me TTC on them. It has helped me settle alot more, I'm still anxious about it all but I was at the stage I was crying all the time and not able to focus so it has definitely helped. I've done counselling years ago and it can help but as you say the long wait isn't the best scenario. I'm hoping I get the results from my scans the next couple of days so I can start to feel I'm getting somewhere.

I should be coming up to my FW soon and trying not to think about it but it's impossible, everyone tells me to relax and I'm just like how do people do it ha ha.

@Brunette1989 I've been the exact same. It's so difficult isn't. I've just tried my best to be positive all month and tried to change my mind set but it's not easy. This whole journey is exhausting.

What tablets did they put you on if you don't mind me asking? My doctor wouldn't as she said it could affect my cycle and just referred me for counselling but there's a 4-6 month wait so... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ooo how did that go? Was it painful? Ive had an ultrasound and my bloods done, I'm on cycle 6 so I was only able to have them done as I was getting some pelvic pain. All seems ok thankfully!!! I've pushed for more tests as I'm so anxious about it all so hubby is getting SA at the end of this month and I've just had swabs but that's all they can do until we get to the year marker but hopefully we won't need anything further 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Af is meant to be coming tomorrow but I've already had some spotting:( The nurse who did my swab yesterday said that can cause some spotting though so I'm hoping it's just that or ....implantation haha. Here's to hoping!

@LuckyWithMyLot you are so right! I had counted myself out and was just waiting for AF to arrive late.

@Purple29 I've not had it before but I just googled and most sites are saying it happens between 7 and 14 days after conception so certainly still fits in that time frame! Fingers crossed for you x
