Hey all,

Simple post really, according to Flo and my current symptoms, I am due to ovulate today or tomorrow. Still trying to figure out OPK's and so not really been using them.

Just wondered if anybody wanted to go through the Two week window with me.

Have dtd a few times over the past few days and so hoping to have some luck this cycle.

Baby dust to all of you

@CCPink15 it's definitely a good sign although annoying to have AF, I've seen people say they've waited 7-8 weeks for their first one which isn't ideal when ttc. I think everyone gets a bit worried about ttc. Loads of people at 35 go on to have happy, healthy pregnancies with no issues. I'm 27 and naively thought there would be no issues with being pregnant, I had a straightforward first pregnancy then unfortunately mc at the end of Jan. I think it's sometimes just your luck ❤ x

CCPink15 · 10/03/2022 17:06

@BuchananBaby thank you I've had coils in now 12 years I'm bleeding and cramping since first thing this morning I'm in Scotland too just with being 35 now I'm a bit worried about ttc I was 22 when I had my DS big difference lol x

BuchananBaby · 10/03/2022 15:08

@CCPink15 from what I remember that is right it's you're withdrawal bleed. A lot of woman need to wait weeks for theirs so it's really good yours has come so quick 🙂

@Gillseybear have a wee chill day tomorrow and look after yourself.

I'll give yous a laugh I'm working at my mums waiting on something being delivered and can't figure out how to work the heating(I'm in Scotland and it's freezing) so I'm sitting with my jacket, blanket and gloves on trying to work 🙈 so lucky my team can't see me😂😂

Gillseybear · 10/03/2022 12:37

@miamiamia869 & @BuchananBaby thank you so much it's honestly making me feel drained although today all I want to do is eat everything in sight while I also feel really nauseous.
I am kinda glad I have tomorrow off as I can just reset for the day then.

BuchananBaby · 10/03/2022 10:04

@LittleMrsMama I've mentioned to my partner that we're trying a few times and he always corrects me that we're seeing what happens - whatever lie he needs to tell himself to get him through is fine by me 😂 that's amazing you managed to keep a log of symptoms and dpo I always mean to and never do it incase I'm just being crazy! My last pregnancy I turned in to a radiator and slept for 12hrs one night so guessed 🙈

@miamiamia869 I wish I had your willpower

@Gillseybear you poor soul! I really hope you feel better soon ❤ I don't think there's any right time to have a baby there will always be a reason not to. Our savings are minimal because I was on mat leave but we'll make it work. Babies don't care how much money etc you have aslong as they're fed and have cuddles they're happy 🥰

miamiamia869 · 10/03/2022 09:41

@Gillseybear aww sorry you are going through such a crap time. I agree with what you say it's probably anxiety. I am very much like this, worry about money and everything else the constant care and complete life change. I've been very up and down if I wanted to ttc or not. I was the same when we decided on a puppy lol....hope u feel better soon n wish you all the best xx

Gillseybear · 10/03/2022 08:42

@LittleMrsMama it's weird that we have to do that but it's just easier at t he moment as the other half cannot make up his mind on what he wants. One minute he wants to TTC and the next moment he is concerned about money and how we will cope. I think we will be fine but I think his anxiety comes from the fact that when his 9 year old was first born, he had lots of issues with money and the relationship ect.
I can understand his anxiety but it's frustrating that he keeps changing his mind but if he really was not ready then he would want to start using condoms again but he is not interested right now. So we will see what happens with that one.

If anybody wants to join me on the I feel like crap train, I would greatly appreciate it. Honestly woken up feeling like pure crap. The nausea and the lower abdominal cramps are driving me insane. I have also noticed I can no longer sleep on my front anymore as it really hurts. It's been the same for the past couple of nights.
Trying not to overanalyse right now but struggling with that a bit.

@LittleMrsMama no not much, I was so close to testing last month I think was 8 days late but it came in the end. So irregular, think this is what helps me hold off testing. Thank you so much for your symptoms from last time that's good things to look out for xx

LittleMrsMama · 10/03/2022 08:02

Thanks @miamiamia869

8 DPO so not too much longer to wait for you now, but I always find the second week of the TWW much harder. That sounds really sensible with waiting until you've missed your period, I wish I had your self control!

miamiamia869 · 10/03/2022 07:55

@Excited101 thats what we are doing too and it's always been my husband wanting children more but I've gone all control freak posting on this and tracking things Grin ...

@LittleMrsMama sorry to hear about your misscarriage. I think I am 8 days post ovulation. I only guess due to body changes and what my tracker app says so its not 100%. However yesterday I had a few odd pains in my lower abdomen that I don't recall usually having. I won't test though unless I miss my period. I don't want to go down the line of testing too often and getting upset. I've only just started trying x

LittleMrsMama · 10/03/2022 06:51

Sorry I realise how many typos and autocorrects are in my last message! 🤦‍♀️

LittleMrsMama · 10/03/2022 06:50

@Excited101 @BuchananBaby @Gillseybear most of my friends' partners thought they were 'just seeing what happened' when in reality my friends were tracking everything and making sure it happened at the right time 😛 DPs are silly if they think their partners wouldn't be doing that.

We were thinking of just 'seeing what happened' but I knew I wouldn't be able to do that. I love being efficient with my time normally do there was no way I was going to be DTD loads outside of the fertile window. I'd also rather save the heartache of wasted attempted too. So absolutely don't feel bad for tracking things if your parent thinks you're just trying.

Wishing us all so much luck! For the symptom spotters among us these were my symptoms in my last pregnancy a few months ago
1DPO - temperature increase
2 DPO - none
3DPO - none
4DPO - drop in temperature - 1 day dip
5DPO - cramps bad enough to stay up at night, on left hand side
6DPO - temperature increase, cramps on left hand side. Some tingling/pulling just below belly button
7DPO - cramps
8DPO - temperature dip cramps
9DPO - watery CM, very faint positive pregnancy test
10 DPO - pulling sensation, faint positive pregnancy test, tiredness, positive OPK

BuchananBaby · 09/03/2022 23:18

My dp isn't fazed because I talked about it before ttc. I haven't been on contraception for about 6 months so when I would say I was ovulating it meant we had to use condoms so he's used to the chat 😂

@Excited101 I don't think age is much of a factor in quality of sperm I think it's just us poor woman who are affected 😩

Excited101 · 09/03/2022 23:04

Ah this is amazing news! I also have tried to avoid freaking out dp with it all, just quietly looking up pictures of discharge variations in the menstrual cycle by myself 😄🤦‍♀️ (Probably for the best)
I do keep reminding myself that this is month 1, and dp being so much older means it may well take a fair bit longer 😑

Gillseybear · 09/03/2022 22:46

@BuchananBaby yeah it's not been fun I must admit but the new job is going well and so that's a bonus.

My partner also thinks we are seeing what happens but I am trying to keep track just incase. I am just terrible and am an awful symptom spotter. So by using Flo it allows me to keep an eye on things with put freaking out my other half.

You are all welcome to join

@Excited101 absolutely not alone 🙈 we all go a little bit nuts 😂 I've been quite up front with dp telling him when I'm ovulating but I think he's just happy to be dtd all the time 😂

Had the weirdest dream last night we were driving to get DD and we had a baby boy in the car - means absolutely nothing obviously but made me smile this morning 😁

Excited101 · 09/03/2022 22:29

@BuchananBaby glad it’s not just me! 🤦‍♀️ I was kidding myself agreeing to do that, it just feels too important to be able to ignore it- as it were.

BuchananBaby · 09/03/2022 22:09

@Gillseybear you're just having an awful time of it ☹️ there seems to be so much going about just now cause people are going back to normal.

@LittleMrsMama I'm with you I never normally get past 8dpo 🙈

@Excited101 we're doing the see what happens thing too, well dp is 😂 I'm just making sure it's all happening when it's supposed to 😂

Excited101 · 09/03/2022 21:41

Hello 👋 I hope it’s ok to join, I’m on a few of these threads now 😳

Dtd last night, first time after my implant was removed about 3 weeks ago, and apparently just before ovulation! I’m tracking on a period tracker and today have had some very egg whitey discharge (sorry TMI) but it was really really noticible, I googled it straight away because it was so odd.

We’re only ‘seeing what happens’ for now... but I’ve got fully caught up in it all! 😬 it’s not really something you tell people though, is it. It does feel a bit lonely.

LittleMrsMama · 09/03/2022 21:17

Please can I join? Ovulated yesterday. First cycle ttc after a miscarriage a few months ago. I also have DD who is almost 2 and I'm desperate to complete our family (but equally feel very lucky to have DD).

Feeling a bit anxious going through this 2WW, both pregnancies before I conceived first time actively trying so putting unnecessary pressure on myself. Trying to hold out from testing as long as possible, but last pregnancy had a positive at 9DPO so not sure I'll last much longer than that 😛

Gillseybear · 09/03/2022 21:12
@gillseybear sorry you've had such a rubbish day 😩 try and be positive in a few days you'll feel much better

Flo said I was due to ovulate yesterday but I actually think it's today.

I feel rotten too but I'm getting over the cold and I had covid a few weeks ago so not sure I'm over that yet. I have been so hungry I've been getting hunger pains even after eating my dinner so that must be the cold! Fun times 🙈😂 we have a trip to Harry Potter World in London this weekend so that'll be a good distraction for a few days atleast!
Thank you so much. What's not helped is I have just started a new job at a SEN school and so my days are very full on anyway. It's just not what I needed but hopefully it's a sign that things are getting back to normal for my body. Especially after the last couple of cycles.

Also think I might have picked up the bug that is going around the school at the moment which is not helping

Hey all,

It's lovely to have you all here and I know what you mean the TWW can feel super lonely while trying to convince.

Today has been a hard day as I have felt incredible rubbish all day. Defo ovulating around now as have had more EWCM today and also had a little bit of spotting again. I have had the major munchies all day along with cramps and nausea. I also have tender breasts this evening. I dunno whether to be positive and think this is all good signs or try and ignore it because I do not want to get my hopes up again. According to Flo Af is due on the 23rd of march. I seem to ovulate really early in my cycle which is kinda confusing but anyway I will keep an eye on things and keep you guys updated.

@Gillseybear @GeraniumCedarwood thank you. We decided not to try again today but skip a day and try tomorrow. Had EWCM for 2 days now and hopefully will again tomorrow. I’m counting ovulation date as yesterday so that’s 1 whole day.

I’ve had a strange headache where my whole face flushed today, maybe it’s hormones?
