Waiting to ttc 🌻 Anyone else?

Hello! After this current packet, I am coming off my pill then waiting a few months to eat healthy, let my cycle go back to normal then track ovulation... then hoping to start ttc in July 🙂 Very excited, and a little nervous.

Is anyone else waiting to try?

Thank you @Mano2020 Yes I was eating well but then this past month I have been quite naughty, too much chocolate lol.

I have started temping again because things have been a little different this year so far, to check when/if I am ovulating, plus most of the time we've been too tired to do much through the week lol so at least when I know it's the right time we can muster up some extra energy 🙈

@Sunnymummy3 so sorry to hear that. Hope you are keeping well. I am just focusing on trying to have a balanced diet but not limiting my sweet treats. As @Lcb123 said I think it will happen when it happens. Not worrying too much about it now. Fingers crossed this year brings good news 🙂

@Mano2020 I fell pregnant just after we last chatted in November, but unfortunately lost it at 9 weeks, so i'm back to the start again. I'm on cd6 of my 2nd proper cycle since the miscarriage.

Yay that you are trying now... I think definitely this year will bring good news, I feel like I have been waiting forever now, do you? Are you being relaxed for now with ttc?

Started in Jan-but wasn’t on pill. Honestly I’ve found it easier not to change anything and not track. Just sex every 2-3 days as NHS recommends. If it happens it will happen

Aw lovely @fancyfrogs and congratulations. My oldest dc also had a little bit of misbehaving after dc2 was born but quickly got over it, so i'm sure yours will too, just an adjustment period 🙂
So pleased you had a good preg and delivery too. 💗 x

Hi @Mano2020! I'm good thank you - currently sat with a squishy 8 week old on my knee 😄 he is an absolute dream and I ended up having a really lovely pregnancy and delivery which felt amazing after my first tricky one. 2yr old DS is finding it challenging with all the change so navigating some 'big feelings' (aka bloody massive tantrums) but trying to remember it's still early days and we're getting there.

How are you, did you start trying in November? 🤞🏻

Hi @fancyfrogs how are you? I hope everything is going well. How many weeks now?

I loosely started ttc last cycle (dtd once in fertile week) and so just at the start of my 2nd cycle 🙂 not feeling overly rushed but obviously a + test this year would be lovely lol.

Me! My boy turns one in September. Waiting until December to TTC as that's the earliest I would want to be pregnant. With DS1 fell pregnant almost immediately after coming off the pill so need to factor in the possibility of that happening again, for better or worse!
December gives us (gave us!) a September baby and I'd like to avoid having a youngest-in-the-school-year baby if possible

@Sunnymummy3 haha good idea! Sounds like you had a nice day. I have been cleaning the garage over the weekend so a lot of stuff is still in the Garden needing to be put back. I tackled some of it this morning before work and will do the rest in the evening once it gets a bit cooler or should i say if it gets any cooler.

I have been indoors most of the day working but air con is definitely switched on at 6pm so i can sleep nicely through the night. It would be boiling without it upstairs.

Hope you get a comfortable sleep today both of you.

Sorry trying to read each chat then quickly scroll down and reply before i forget what it said @Mano2020 😄 oh yes when anyone is coming round to your house just set them up with a towel and bottle of water beside them and they will assume they are well used 😎 x

How are you finding the heat, both of you? I have enjoyed a breeze and day with paddling pool in garden but I know bedtime will be a different matter. Have you had your air con on mano? x

@fancyfrogs That must of been really hard and a worrying time. They do say every pregnancy/birth is different so with that positive thought in mind, I really hope this time is different and you get to take dc2 straight home. 🙂

Lol pregnancy is the best excuse to eat all the naughty foods and not suck in your tummy anymore 😄 x

Haha! It is so hard to eat clean. I think i purchased the exercise machines just to help me mentally think i am being healthy but its just so hard. I am still eating what i like but i am trying to add more fruit into my diet and this hot weather is helping with that.

@fancyfrogs fingers crossed your pregnancy continues smoothly. Plenty of rest when you need it, December will be here before you know it. So excited for you. I do not remember if i asked but are you going to find out the gender or keeping it a surprise? ❤️

@Sunnymummy3 due 24th January. Hoping more than anything to make it to December, that's my goal for now! DS was prem and I feel sick at the thought of going through that again. Will take it week by week

My healthy eating had been going well and had lost a few lbs, not as much as I hoped but 'normal' BMI now so know I shouldn't complain. Just seem to want all the sugar and sweet things now so conscious I will be piling it on but I'll deal with that later now 😂

Oh very good, that will be fun and different ways to work out. I have been yoyoing a bit, everytime i say right I will be good we end up out for a meal or something. Lol.

@Sunnymummy3 i know what you mean about the new setup. I have discovered if you click the icon on the top right of the chat with the two arrows pointing opposite ways it brings the latest response to the top. I have been scrolling all the way down too until i discovered this.

I am going to wait until the end of August. My little boy turned two last month and we are going through some home renovations so have been busy with all that.

Healthy eating... well not as well as i wanted to. I have however just ordered a cross trainer and rowing machine to get a little bit more active before trying. I am also trying to drink more water and this hot weather has helped a lot. I am still indulging in some sweet treats but i am going to try and limit this to once a week.

How is it going with you?

Not really liking this setup of new messages at the top, then having to scroll to the bottom to reply so you can't see the messages you are replying to. Does anyone else find it harder, or maybe I am just old 🤣

@fancyfrogs aw what a great scan picture, it's so clear, and all so real feeling for you now i'm sure. What is your due date?

@Mano2020 when are you planning on waiting until? Did you continue your healthy eating?
Ooh very nice with air con, it's hard to sleep when you are too hot isn't it
