Trying to conceive after miscarriage vacuum procedure??

I recently had a missed miscarriage and had the vacuum procedure. I'm wondering if anybody else has had this procedure and how long before you tried again/became pregnant again? I'm keen to try straight after my first period but unsure what to do bc I don't want to take any risks Xxx

I had this done in July 2020 I had one period in the august then got my bfp in September and my little boy has just turned 9 months

I’m also unsure of when to start again, lots of what I see suggests drs ask for you to have a period for dating purposes only, however other things I’ve read suggest that you need to wait for your lining etc to recover properly? Not sure which research is accurate on this. Although I’m not sure what the best approach is, as how does anyone really know what’s going on inside their body/when their lining is recovered etc… I know it’s somewhat out our control, but I don’t want to do anything that may risk being in this situation again x

Watching this with interest. I had the same earlier this week, have had the procedure and now just bleeding lightly. Hoping to get a negative test at 3 weeks as the dr suggests I should. Just not really sure what to expect from that post onwards!
