@aesgriff that’s what I assumed but I guess I was expecting it to come later as I only stopped bleeding two weeks ago! And haven’t detected any ovulation (possible that I ovulated whilst still bleeding or didn’t ovulate at all this cycle). Who knows! The body seems to do some weird things after a miscarriage 🤷🏻‍♀️ xx

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:40

@Cindy974 ♥️♥️ Sending big hugs xx

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:40

@SLee21 I’m so sorry for your loss xx I haven’t had what you are experiencing in the sense of dark bleeding but it might be a sign of your period coming? Xx

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:38

@Skl2021 glad you’ve had the rest of your booking appointment. Interesting reading about the aspirin! How you feeling? I’ve felt great today.. worryingly great… 😬 xx

@Cruz86 @Bridgey8 wooo scan friends!! Already feeling nervous. Did debate booking me this week but thought weekly scans may be a bit OTT 🤔 xx

@HoneyLemon29 hope your scan doesn’t fall on your birthday xx

@theblueflowers there’s been several of us on the thread who have had bleeds and touch wood we’ve all be ok so far. It’s so so so scary isn’t it xx

Cindy974 · 07/03/2022 17:12

@Skl2021 glad to see youre doing well lovely 💕 So last night I was still bleeding and still had a couple of pea sized clots, today I havent bled enough to soak a pad but still have red discharge sorry if its TMI. I definitely haven’t miscarried as I wasnt as far along with my last MC and I know what to look for and the pain etc but feel like its inevitable at this point and its probably just slow starting 😰

@Bridgey8 I took your advice and said if they have any cancellations to let me know x

Thank you everyone for the support, although I feel hopeless its nice to have the support from you all 💕💕

LittleMrsMama · 07/03/2022 17:04

@theblueflowers I'm so sorry to hear. Hope that it is just spotting and all is ok! Must be so worrying :(

arianasky · 07/03/2022 16:54

@Skl2021 I took 75mg from O day last month and still miscarried and I'm taking 150mg from O day this month hoping it will help 🙏🏻 it helps with blood clotting which can be a factor of MC and it also helps blood pressure so that's probably why they put you on it if yours was high during the last pregnancy

bunnykins123 · 07/03/2022 16:48

@Skl2021 150mg is now the nhs recommended dose. I think it used to be 75mg. I'm taking 150mg now and have 0 side affects. Did they advise why you need to start taking now?

@Cruz86 yay that's such good news! So happy for you!!!!

@theblueflowers I'm so sorry to see you're spotting. I'm not sure if you've been reading the threads recently but there have been a few cases of spotting that have all had a positive outcome. Hopefully that will be the same for you 🤞🤞

SLee21 · 07/03/2022 16:43

Hi everyone, I hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread?
I found out I had an incomplete miscarriage at 8 weeks on 31st January after some unusual bleeding. I actually lost the baby naturally on 6th February with some very heavy bleeding and ended up in hospital. I bled for another two weeks afterwards.
I have been doing opks since the bleeding stopped which have slowly faded every day, which I assume is my hcg being picked up going down. I had my first completely negative hcg test a week ago.
Saturday night (28 days after I started bleeding) I had some spotting and the last couple of days I’ve just had a small amount of dark brown stuff (sorry if tmi), barely enough to fill a panty liner. I don’t have any other symptoms either!
I guess I was just expecting a lot worse? Maybe it’s not much because I bled so much before? Or maybe it’s not even a period? I’m just so confused about what my body is doing at the moment 🤦🏻‍♀️
If anyone has experienced anything similar I’d love to know!
Thank you 💕

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 16:43

@theblueflowers sorry to hear that hun try think positive have you rang epu? X

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 16:42

@peachiekeen and to top it off they never removed it all so a week later I was back in a&e contracting clots out said I wouldn't have surgery again so had the tablet that didn't do anything so ended up back for surgery again 🤦🏽‍♀️ x

theblueflowers · 07/03/2022 16:41

Hi all,
I was on one of these threads a few back. Currently 5+4 and I have started spotting today. I think it's happening again and I just feel so lost.

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 16:41

@peachiekeen yeah 75mg is ok to take they call it baby aspirin
My boys was so low I thought I felt ok went outside to meet my partner and collapsed
I had to have a blood transfusion and stay overnight was not a great feeling x

peachiekeen · 07/03/2022 16:34

@mrshodgy21 I hadn't thought about that though! That must have been scary!

peachiekeen · 07/03/2022 16:33

@Skl2021 when I spoke to the midwife on the phone when I had my mc she said that some people are advised to take aspirin from when they find out they are pregnant if they have had multiple mcs as it helps to thin the blood and get more to the placenta. I didn't know that before but I'll probably take some as a precaution next time

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 16:32

@Skl2021 I'm on 75mg low dose aspirin that we progesterone pessaries I had it with my last mmc only thing when I had to have surgery to remove I ended up losing nearly 2 litres of blood as aspirin thins the blood I was so poorly! X

Skl2021 · 07/03/2022 16:11

@mrshodgy21 @speake so it must do more than blood pressure if you two are taking it earlier? Is 150mg low dose? X

OP posts:
speake · 07/03/2022 15:51

@Skl2021 I’m also on low dose aspirin but mine was from 6 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 15:45

@Skl2021 I have to have low dose aspirin but I have to start taking from when I find out that I'm pregnant x

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 15:44

@Cruz86 no not a private I've had 3 mmc last year only picked up at 9 weeks
So they scan me early I had one last week and yolk sac was seen and having another one Friday at epu x

mrshodgy21 · 07/03/2022 15:42

@HoneyLemon29 at least they are getting you in early and keeping an eye on u x

arianasky · 07/03/2022 15:23

@Cruz86 no thankfully 😂 I'm only 3/4dpo so really don't think that was a symptom at all

Skl2021 · 07/03/2022 15:10

@Nikkic2123 yes it's because I had high blood pressure at the end of my pregnancies. So hopefully this will help that xx

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 07/03/2022 15:04

@Cruz86 so glad everything went ok for you!
I called the EPU said no need for HCG which I’m quite happy about actually because last month when I had to have that the first one came back at like 60 or something and I panicking even though they said that’s pregnant, then ended up having a chemical! She told me to take another pregnancy test at 5 weeks and if it’s positive and no bleeding etc just go through the usual booking process! Xx

Cruz86 · 07/03/2022 15:00

Oh don't, I couldn't deal with that @HoneyLemon29 😂 Fingers crossed they don't book it on the same day!! X
