There's a faint line, does it look pink enough to be a positive? I've been stung with the disappointment of evap lines before!
After 7 months of TTC I don't want to let myself get excited in case it isn't!

It will fly, just try to put it to the back of your head ( Grin Grinas if that's possible!!)

detachablehoof · 01/03/2022 10:19

Thank you @irishfarmer, I have now booked a scan where I will be almost seven weeks. Feels like ages away! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly 😘

@detachablehoof if you can wait out until 8 weeks, or at least 7 you will have a much better chance of getting the reassurance you want 1st time. I'm currently 19weeks pregnant, this time I was scanned very early due to previous miscarriages, too early looking back. This time at 6 weeks they found twins, but both still very small. I spent 10 days thinking it was twins, at the next scan they could only find 1 heartbeat. I would have preferred to have just waited until 7.5/8 weeks and known the full story then.
Try not to worry about MC, I have been unfortunate, as have a lot of women on here (probably skewed as women are on here looking for reassurance) but 1 in 4 miscarry which seems high but you have to remember that means 3 in 4 are successful

Can I join? I just got a digital cb. It says 1-2 weeks so I think about 14days past ovulation. I might test again tomorrow, hopefully false positives are rare but I just don’t quite believe it.

Will the GP confirm it with a blood test? I’m pretty much clueless after this point how it works.

Is it good to take folic acid? I’ve read up it can be good for development. I wondered if there are any risks.

detachablehoof · 28/02/2022 17:05

thanks for the congratulations. Feeling a little anxious about miscarriage (no reason to be) so am currently researching getting a private viability scan at six weeks

@detachablehoof aw delighted for you! It's great to have the GP confirm it, I got her to do bloods.

@Atoshiexx there should be a little paper clip button on the bottom if you are using a mobile, or choose file if using the laptop. You can't post pics for the first 48hrs if you are a new member. Also I would recommend starting a new thread so you get replies specific to you

Atoshiexx · 28/02/2022 16:01

Does anyone know how I can post a picture? Wanted to put my test up too x

Candleabra · 28/02/2022 15:58

Congratulations! I couldn’t see anything on your very first picture, but it’s very clear now a few days later.

detachablehoof · 28/02/2022 15:55

Reckon I will ring GP for booking in appt tomorrow! My 'TWW' is usually 12 or 13 days I believe, according to the Clue app my period would usually have come yesterday.

I know I always find other people's experiences fascinating so for anyone who is interested, these have been my symptoms :

  • really, really sore boobs from 7dpo (to the extent I have bought a non wired bra for the first time in my life)
  • dandruff!
  • very bad acne
  • had some funny crampy pains at about 7dpo which I guess could have been implantation
  • sorry if it is TMI but using the Fertility means I have become a little more familiar with my cervix and it seemed to be really soft / low / open for quite a while after ovulation and still is now

CagneyNYPD1 · 28/02/2022 11:29

Oooh, that's a definite line!!!

Excited101 · 28/02/2022 11:24

Oh yes op!! Definite lines appearing!!!

detachablehoof · 28/02/2022 10:21

Today's test at the bottom (13 dpo) Smile I reckon I can let myself get a little bit excited now!

Today's is definitely pink which is reassuring! And nicely darker than yesterday's.
Going away for the weekend so I am going to take a break from POAS until Monday. Praying that it sticks!

I can NEVER see the lines in these threads but I can see both this time Smile

Janey3090 · 25/02/2022 08:31

I can see lines on both of them - it's definitely a bit darker on today's test too. How exciting!!

ApolloandDaphne · 25/02/2022 07:52

I can see the lines on the new ones!

detachablehoof · 25/02/2022 07:44

This morning's FRER 🙏 I'm very very cautiously optimistic!

Can definitely see a faint line

@Melspop

Hi ladies, sorry to jump on the post but I am 9DPO and took a test, I am unsure if it was within the 10 min time frame as I have been so pre occupied but I am unsure if it is a evap line or a positive… please let me know your thoughts x
I can't trust Clearblue. I've had a similar line with one of those tests and turned out to be negative.

I'll do another FRER tomorrow and update on here 🤞

TheBirdintheCave · 24/02/2022 21:51

Yup clear line, darker than my FRER line this time around :)

If I am being quite honest I can see nothing at all.

Can you re test with FMU? The line looks like it doesn't have colour to me. X

Ttcbabyk - we both started taking a pre conception vitamin, DTD a bit earlier than usual and pretty much every day until a couple of days after ovulation, and used the Fertility cup every time. I also cut back a little bit on alcohol compared to my usual intake, but still probably had way more than I should (lockdown habits die hard!)

When I conceived my daughter I was so laid back and it didn't take long at all, this time I've been so stressed and it feels like it's been taking forever 😢
