there seems to be a fair few of us recently who have had positive then negative tests, and a number who are having preg symptoms with neg tests.

i've had nausea and tiredness for nearly 5 weeks... one bfp and plenty of bfns! should know for def over next few days with blood test. i had a 'period' that wasnt normal, am still breastfeeding and have no idea whats going on with my body!

How is everyone else doing?

hi. got bfp this afternoon. im a bit shocked.that thing with the opks must be true as they were showing positive all week.

sorry, i know nothing about ov kits... does it mean that you could be preg then? hope you're okay... tesco do reliabel preg kits, 2 for under a fiver

ive just un to do another opk. dh wont get me any more hpt. misery arse. gotan interview tomorrow for another job as thought i wasnt preggers

oh blimey i dont know what to say after my recent experiences! i was convinced i was preg cos of symptoms, wasnt even ttc... i'm def not preg! had very light period too, and got a + the day after that 'period' started! and then -'s a few days later. the more i read on mumsnet the more i learn that perhaps this last month for me is more normal than i realise, that our bodies can play awful tricks on us. i hope you get the outcome you want, i'm an eternal optimist and so have fingers crossed for you! xx

hi i have had a v strange mixed bag of pg symptoms and a really weird short light AF!! i usually have a medium-heavy AF lasting approx 5 days and this time i have had 2 days of spotting either side of a light flow day i am TTC#2 on cycle 3 BTW.
i have had alsorts of symptoms ranging between nausea, vomiting, extreme tiredness, headaches, a touch of constipation, sore (.)(.), weight loss (i had this in PG2 my DD) i was also 6 days late for my 'normal' cycle length and had a strange HPT result with a diagonal line to the left of the usual result space. this was followed by a BFN with a cheapie stick test and then what i thought was AF
i really dont know what to think now!!
what dya reckon then??

i don't know... dont they test for different hrmones? have you done a preg test recently cola?

a positive opk can signal pregnancy cant it? it looks for the same /similar hormone. shouldnt be getting positive OPK on day 35 of a normal cyle surely??!! can anyone confirm this?? ATTILLA!!!

oh right. dont know anything about them but if you're getting + does that mean you cant be pregnant? I'm fine... feel like things are getting back to normal now... a weird time but need to move on before i dwell too much, xx

no more news. cd 35 had 2more +opk yesterday and day before.just waiting to see now.havnt done anymore preg test as run out.How are you?

hi,yes it is. how are you feeling?? still no sign. im an obbsessive knicker checker (my own btw) lol.got to laugh as spent last night in tears and nearly killed dh when he told me i was hormonal.

i dont know much about the pill, never been on it but it can mess things up for a while... i guess once your cycles have been pill free for a couple of months ttc will be easier for you. the not knowong and waiting is crappy though isnt it!

tested again today, i have the breaking strain of a kitkat, still bfn. dont know guess its just things settling down after my lap in december, did have af though but suppose it was just my pill free week bleed iykwim.

no havent tests since the blood test on 2nd... that was negative so pretty definative really... when do you think you'll test again colabottle?

sorry girls, been away from pc... how is everyone? my boobs very sore! still breastfeeding dd so its not nice! dont know whats causing that! sickness has eased up though. reckon i was prob preg as got the bfp once, but must have ended v v quickly... such is life. will see doc soon

I'm totally confused also, period due on tues (8th) but had slight spotting fri/sat, i've never had this before except when preg with first son.
Done a test today it was neg maybe too early? but boobs really tender. Getting lots of cramps too.....
WHATS GOING ON

i hate the uncertainty!!!

well i am crashing in here. my AF is around 10days late and am getting negative tests. i just want AF to start so i know one way or the other.

if nothing by weds i am off to the docs.

no other real symptoms. have had some cramps like AF about to start, but nothing!

arrrrrrrrgh.
