Hi All,

I'm currently 6 dpo and experiencing really weird, sharp pains in my lower stomach. Not had anything like this before! They feel kind of like period cramps but then can't decide if it's chronic bloat?!!

Is this likely to be implantation or something else???

@gossipgirlxoxox

Hi everyone, Sorry I've been so quiet. I had my first gyno appointment today who have confirmed the Endo but also said I have fluid on one of my tubes. I'm gutted and not sure quite what this means.

I've been told to continue ttc before I have a laparoscopy and dye test to confirm if there is a blockage. Really really hoping that this won't impact anything but I'm struggling to comprehend atm.

Hope you are all doing well xx

Oh sorry to hear! Have you had any symptoms for this blockage? You must be worried but try and do what you can to help you relax. Remember to check in with us for support. All the best for the next hospital test xx

Hoping for some advice on this implantation thread 😊

Has anyone had implantation bleeding that was more than spotting?

I'm just trying to work out whether it could have been implantation bleeding I had 10th - 13th March or not? On the 13th it was just literally brown when I was wiping after going to the loo and the other two days it was red and it was visible on sanitary pads.

My periods normally last 5 days so this one was abit shorter as it didn't start till the afternoon of the 10th!

I do feel abit "off" and feel tired a lot more than usual 😩 but I could be coming down with something who knows!

My period before this was 3rd - 7th February and I had two positive opk tests on the 23rd and 24th February.

Great plan! I'm going to try and go with the flow as well. We will be moving house soon so I should be busy enough not to obsess! Good luck with job applications @MrsYan

Climbingthelaundrymountain · 08/03/2022 11:40

@MrsYan good luck with your job applications! AF pretty much done for me. I don't want to put any pressure on this month as we are busy with work and the gorgeous children we already are lucky enough to have. So if it happens, it happens.

Hey girls!

How are you all? AF has just finished for me and I'm feeling more human lol. I don't function well when AF is here

I have decided I am not going this track or anything this month, I just can't be bothered with the stress anymore.

I have been applying for new jobs so that's taken my mind off of this TTC journey!

Quadrilingual · 05/03/2022 10:13

My AF is finally here so happy to see it this time. I wouldn't recommend those Pregnacare conception tablets!
Hope you're all feeling better? Anyone going to test soon?

gossipgirlxoxox · 04/03/2022 15:06

I'm out now too.
Next cycle 🤞🏻

Fully out now, period has properly begun. No idea why I had this spotting for so long this time. Not sure what my plan is going to be this cycle now. I've never used ovulation sticks before and find it all a bit overwhelming.

Quadrilingual · 03/03/2022 20:29

Same here. No AF still and no pregnancy symptoms. It's almost a week late now. I get this sticky discharge tinged with brown everyday that's all!

Climbingthelaundrymountain · 03/03/2022 19:16

How's everyone doing? Still only the tiniest bit of brown spotting. AF due yesterday. Absolutely no pregnancy symptoms so anticipating period to begin properly in the next few days.

gossipgirlxoxox · 02/03/2022 14:41

@Dawnymillz

If it helps one of my friends came off her pill, that she'd been on for over 10 years, and got pregnant within 3 months. Xx

Dawnymillz · 02/03/2022 14:40

I haven't done a pregnancy test. I thought as the first 2 days were heavy that it was a normal period but just very strange that it went away and then just brown discharge (TMI)!!

Dawnymillz · 02/03/2022 14:38

Any info is useful thank-you SmileI think on my naievity I thought my period should be back to normal at this stage but maybe not!

gossipgirlxoxox · 02/03/2022 14:11

@MrsYan

Ah I see. My spotting tends to be brown for 5-6 days before!! It drives me mad. Saying that, today I've got absolutely nothing again so I have no idea what is going off. My hopes have came back up slightly but trying not to stress!

Just see how the next few days ago.. fingers crossed for you xx

OP posts:
MrsYan · 02/03/2022 13:59

@Dawnymillz also can't can't, sorry! I had the coil and haven't been on the pill for so long

With any hormonal contraceptives though it can take a while for your body to get back to 100% normal for you.

If you period was strange, have you done a pregnancy test just to cross that off? Xx

MrsYan · 02/03/2022 13:56

@gossipgirlxoxox I have spotting for two days, when I say spotting... my cm is just slightly pink tinged. But I know to look out for it before af is due. Feeling deflated today and like I am never going to fall pregnant 🥺 hope everyone else is ok xx

gossipgirlxoxox · 02/03/2022 13:56

Hi @Dawnymillz

I've not been on the pill for around 4 years now. I came off solely due to the way they messed up my periods. From my experience it took a while for my periods to get to a more 'normal' level. Now my cycles are around 36 days long. In terms of ttc after coming off the pill, I wouldn't know unfortunately as we have only just started ttc. Not sure this helps you much but in my experience it took a while for my periods to settle down!

Hi all
I am new to mumsnet. My partner and I are trying for our first baby. I've been off the pill now for 4 months. My period came back regular enough and usually 28 days. I have had such a strange period this time (started 26th Feb). Before my period, I had myself convinced I was pregnant. Very tired, sore boobs, weird metallic taste in my mouth,. headache and lower abdominal cramps/movement. I was very sad when I came on my period. The period lasted for 2 days and was pretty heavy. Then the period basically disappeared and there was some brown discharge.
Has anyone experienced this? Also, has anyone experienced regular light cramps since coming off the pill. I constantly feel bloated/crampy Confused

gossipgirlxoxox · 02/03/2022 09:40

@MrsYan

How many days do you tend to have spotting for before af kicks in properly? I always thought something wasn't right but it seems much more common than I thought!

Definitely 🥰 xx

OP posts:
MrsYan · 02/03/2022 08:19

AF is coming for me too, starting spotting like normal 😭😭😭 I really struggle when af comes so will probably be quiet for a couple of days. Shall we all be cycle buddies for the next one though too? xx

gossipgirlxoxox · 01/03/2022 21:22

Evening girls

Hope you are all ok tonight and that AF hasn't turned up for anyone!!

I'm 99% sure I'm out. Spotting has got worse and is like the very beginning of a period. Still can't explain why it happened so early but I do always get around 5 days of spotting before my period!! No idea why. I was never able to tolerate the pill either that always caused bleeding.
Also caved and took a pregnancy test to torture me even more. Negative obviously 🙄 x

@Quadrilingual I can also confirm pork mince is absolutely fine in spag bol too 😂😂

MrsYan · 01/03/2022 20:07

@Quadrilingual how strange! Will you do a test? I hope it's not af for you! Xx

Quadrilingual · 01/03/2022 18:40

I have a funny thing that's been happening but I don't know how to search for it! It's like I can feel the AF coming down there in lady parts (like opening) but there's nothing there. It's been like that for a week now! I've never had that? Do you know what I mean?? Sorry if TMI!
