Hi everyone , I’m TTC baby number 2. dc is now 2.
Can’t believe how impatient I am. We are starting our first cycle . Anyone else starting their first cycle.
I’ve brought clear blue ovulation tests. Anything else that can help! X

Hi, how is everyone doing?

I'm feeling a bit disappointed because I got my period today. It look a long time with my first but in spite of knowing that I was still secretly hoping we'd manage it first cycle.

I hate having my period in general too as I get so sad (about other things too, not just this)

Meh.
Considering sending oh out for Guinness...

To be honest I have been using the cheapo ovulation sticks and the clear blue advanced ones and the cheapo ones have been rubbish. The clear blue ones have been good in identifying the fertile days before ovulation but knowing when I am ovulating I find that actually I could probably just go on physical symptoms.

A small age gap would be lovely. Mine will be a bit bigger than we originally planned but life does what it does, eh?

We're ttc #2 my little boy is 9 months and we're on cycle 2

I'm not using ovulation sticks but I've always tracked my periods so just hoping for the best my son is still young (although I'm not getting any younger) will be 35 in 13 days

It took us a year and 2 mc for my son to get here part of the reason we're trying again so soon

So technical question guys, we tried last night as we had a flashing smiley face. Solid smiley face this morning. DH has a very long and busy day, so trying tonight too would be very unromantic and business like. Do you think it's necessary or will last night's efforts are enough?

How does everyone actually do the tests? Do you use it in the flow or have a little pot? I'm very bad at error positioning it haha.

I have a little pot just as Im terrible too!

Hmm not sure what to think there. It certainly feels like ovulation but I feel it is far too soon. I did have covid about two weeks ago so don't know if that would effect it...
It might’ve been! I know it can knock it out of whack, any sort of virus can.

I think by the time you’re ovulating it’s very much a last chance situation so definitely try! But it might be a bit late. It depends how long the egg waits around for. Ideally sperm is already there.

Yes, I think I might buy some clear blue tomorrow. Was trying to be cheap but seems like a good investment haha!

I’m only predicting then as according to my Flo app, I started my period 14th and it’s predicting my ovulation on Sunday . Which means I’ll be fertile in a few days. So I’m holding off for one or two more days with the clear blue digital ovulation until then . I’ve been using Premom with the ovulation sticks but it confuses me

Ah ok that's useful, the ovulation calculator I used seemed to think later but I think going by possible ovulation rumblings earlier makes sense.
My stupid ovulation stick didn't work this morning so will have to 'get back on the horse tomorrow'.
Fingers crossed, eh?

@Littlemissmuffet720 so your ovulation day should be this Sunday? So as far as I’m aware your most fertile this week. Up until Sunday if your period started on the 14th.

Very unlikely, timeline was thus: condom sex until period 14th February ( so fun valentine's for us lol) 15,16,17 period. 18 or 19 sex. Day after weird all day vomming. Think it was a big though as shivering etc too.

But obviously the hopeful part of me hopes it'll be easier this time lol

I might have to pick your brain then. Been getting some weird symptoms tbh, I swear I started ovulation yesterday. Two days after my period ended. That can't be right. Also massive nausea yesterday but it's too early for morning sickness (but obviously a part of me hopes it is haha!)
@Littlemissmuffet720 was your period heavy. Could it be implantation bleeding

I kind of feel the opposite, like I’ve given so much to DS there is no way I can do the same with a second 🤦🏻‍♀️

Me too! DS was immediate. I’m now waiting for AF on my third cycle :( not sure where we’re going wrong! We’ve been using clear blue smiley sticks and tracking on lots of apps.
