I have spotting today and just get the gut feeling that AF is on her way. Got a bit emotional for the first time about it. Having a short luteal phase sucks but even more annoying knowing doctors don't entertain until 12 months of trying even though I know my Luteal Phase is 8-10 days 🙄 BBT was down slight today than yesterday too so everything pointing to me being out this month

@Beautyangel1 I think you'd have a good chance of any picking it up but maybe go for an early one just in case. The first response are the most sensitive I think. Good luck! 🤞🤞

Would I need to do an early pregnancy test or a normal one? AF is due to arrive in 2 days. Xx

Cramps are worse and bleeding is getting a bit heavier now. I kind of just want it done and dusted now so I can get on with life.

I had such an easy time with my other two children so this is a bit of a bummer. 🙁

@Beautyangel1 you have more patience than me. 😂 I got a stonker of a line at 14dpo last time there’s no way I’d wait longer than that (My Luteal phase is 12 days though which makes a difference)

I am 13 dpo. AF due to arrive in two days. I will hold out until end of this week before testing. Eeek

@tryingtryinggone We actually tried Sperm Meets Egg Plan on the cycle we conceived DS, I don't think it was the main reason I got pg, but it was interesting to see afterwards how our timing was unintentionally boy-focused, so maybe there's some logic to it all.

CD18 now and I took an OPK on a whim after AF finished on CD15- got a positive which PreMom puts at 1.27, happy days. OH is at work, of course, and will be too tired to BD when he gets home, but there's always tomorrow!

@lj2022 I did test but not looking good. I wrote above before.

The spotting has now eased up now but it literally will be a Christmas miracle if I'm pregnant. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Trying to understand my body more this cycle! Is this EWCM? Or is it too cloudy? I’ve been worrying that I don’t produce CM but then swiped this morning!!

I'm currently 7 DPO I've kept myself so busy this week and just hoping that the next few days fly by as I'm ideally hoping to wait until 12 DPO to test but not sure if I can hold out that long

I think I might be out too. I had a faintly positive test this morning but I've been spotting and cramping for a couple of days. The spotting has been heavier than before too. AF not due until the 14th so I'm presuming its another chemical.

@dearhummingbirds I guess if you drink heavily it’s a good idea to cut down, I’ve never actually stopped drinking while ttc I’d just stop when I got a bfp. I’m quite relaxed though as I’ve been known to sip champagne or a small glass of wine on occasions during pregnancy.

@TonkaBean22 not silly at all! We wanted to avoid a July/August/September baby to avoid having it during harvest. In the end with DC1 it was taking a long time for us to conceive so we decided not to stop trying but luckily he was born in January. DC2 was conceived second month of trying and DC1 conceived first month!

@Nypie I’m doing well, thanks! I’m having a night out with some of my old work colleagues next Thursday, who are mostly younger than me, and thinking about how I’m going to miss a good drink when we start TTC

Is it good to cut down on the Friday wine whilst TTC or just waiting for the BFP?

@TonkaBean22 Definitely not foolish. I want a spring baby / don’t want to be heavily pregnant in the height of summer, so I honestly would consider stopping TTC after we’ve tried for the first two cycles in August and September. But I’ll have to see what happens when we get there!
