@PrettyPolly92 I hate to tell you, but even with 100 things to do, your brain will still be constantly thinking about it! I have SO much to keep my brain occupied, yet I can’t think of anything else! I can totally relate to the way you’re feeling. X

PrettyPolly92 · 04/03/2022 13:16

@LucyLoopyLu I’m finding the wait to start trying absolutely agonising ☹️

I need to get a hobby or something to keep my brain occupied xx

PrettyPolly92 · 04/03/2022 13:14

@FourOclock Congratulations!! So happy for you! 😁

Also agree with @OCM19! Its so nice to be able to share stories on here ☺️

Amber17 · 04/03/2022 12:51

Congrats @FourOclock 🎉

🤞🏻 for @DanceWithYourBalloon and anyone else about to test!

alwaysseeingstars · 04/03/2022 12:49

@OCM19 I agree - it's so lovely having this space to talk about things when it's either too soon to tell people or you're TTC and don't want people being on Womb Watch haha!
@FourOclock I'm in the ovulation testing stage unfortunately - day 5 of a flashing smiley!

DanceWithYourBalloon · 04/03/2022 12:39

@FourOclock congratulations! 🥳

I'm due to test in a few days! 🤞🏻

BlueberryMacaron · 04/03/2022 12:08

@FourOclock huge congratulations!! Amazing news

OCM19 · 04/03/2022 12:03

Ps, once anyone starts their pregnancy journey, I loved watching these weekly videos by a blogger Charlotte Taylor. Channel mum have them all on the link below, just click the week that applies to you and it will take you to the video. I watched them every Saturday morning and really looked forward to them!

@FourOclock Aww! Fantastic! Huge congratulations to you!!! 🥰 that's amazing news! 👶🏻🍼

🥂 cheers to all the BFP we will see in the next few months. Xxx

OCM19 · 04/03/2022 11:55

It’s honestly amazing that this group shares the news before most of your closest friends know! I’m so invested in everyone’s journey!

I will test late next week if af doesn’t arrive, but have no idea whether I’ve even ovulated this cycle!

FourOclock · 04/03/2022 11:53

Thank you all! Who else other then @Nyxxie and I are due to test soon?!

alwaysseeingstars · 04/03/2022 11:51

Huge congrats @FourOclock , how exciting!! x

FourOclock · 04/03/2022 11:39

@OCM19

Just out of interest *@FourOclock* how many DPO are you? X
I think around 12/13dpo. I didn't do opks so just going on EWCM and app. But period is due on sunday. The line has got a little bit darker, I snapped the photo before the time was up 😂
Vasectomyreversalhopeful · 04/03/2022 11:38

Many congratulations four!

OCM19 · 04/03/2022 11:33

OCM19 · 04/03/2022 11:33

Omg @FourOclock a massive congratulations 🥳 🤰 this is the best news ever!!! 💕 so pleased for you! X

LucyLoopyLu · 04/03/2022 11:04

@vasectomyreversalhopeful May will be here before you know it! So hard to enjoy the time in between though isn't it

FourOclock · 04/03/2022 11:04

Scared!! 🤣 Excited though, I had kind of already told myself I was pregnant as I'd had no spotting so have been trying to bloody take this test to confirm all morning!! I'm glad I didn't test yesterday as I think it probably would have been even fainter

LucyLoopyLu · 04/03/2022 11:02

@fouroclock omg!!! How do you feel? Congrats!

FourOclock · 04/03/2022 11:00

So finally got around to taking a test...

QueenBee22 · 04/03/2022 09:01

@Nyxxie Sorry for your loss.

I put my tests literally out of reach, up high where I cannot reach them so I am not tempted. Easier said than done!

Vasectomyreversalhopeful · 04/03/2022 06:52

I am very excited stars :) I am very regular so am hopeful it will all work.

Sorry to hear your news nyxxie and four. Fingers crossed that you both have BFPs soon.

I can’t believe how fast this year is going. When I joined this group May seemed ages away but now it is the month after next!

WingingIt09 · 03/03/2022 21:46

@BlueberryMacaron that's part of my worry. Our house has increased 20% in value since we bought it in 2018, surely the market can't sustain the house prices rises and if it goes down then we could loose equity in our house... although that also means the house we will be buying will decrease in price too so 🤷🏻‍♀️ literally a minefield! There are potentially lifestyle things that we could sacrifice - take aways/days out etc. but my DH is adamant he would rather stay put then sacrifice those sorts of things. He says (and tbh I suppose it's a good point) he would rather have the money to make memories with the kids and treat them to do lessons/clubs/days out etc then to have a bigger house.

I've been staring at our budget planner all evening trying to make sense of it all and I think we will end up staying put. I would love a bigger house but I think currently it's just too much of a risky move when we have good financial stability at the moment and can afford for me to take a full years maternity without dipping into our savings. I'm going to suggest to DH we only fix our mortgage for 2 years though and reevaluate in 2024 when he's had a promotion and I'm back at work after maternity. Hopefully that'll make a difference in the finances to make it a safer step up. Baby won't need a room for the first 6 months anyway and after that either DDs can share or DH will just have to put his desk in our bedroom 🙈

BlueberryMacaron · 03/03/2022 20:07

@WingingIt09 I'd take the hit now, if you can, though obviously I don't know everything about your finances. Moving will be easier as a family of four than a family of five. Also, I don't what house prices are like where you are, but a house on my street (smaller than mine) has just sold for £100,000 more than I bought my house for at the end of 2020 Shock Part of me thinks that the housing market just can't continue to rise like it is, but then I though we were buying at the top of bubble because of stamp duty holiday madness. If it will leave you losing money compared to staying where you are though, then maybe I'd stay put. Probably sound really basic, but are there any lifestyle changes you can make to reduce outgoings if you were to move?

NarnieJoy · 03/03/2022 19:25

@WingingIt09 we are in a two bed at the moment and I have been thinking about moving, but the truth of the matter is that we will be more financially stable to stay here until I get my promotion. Better to save in my opinion, people have lived in smaller houses with more kids and been fine! I know if I moved I’d always be wanting more!
