OCM19 · 07/03/2022 13:23

@Beautyangel1 sorry I missed your post, sorry for you loss Flowers I would also expect a few irregular cycles to be normal. X

Vasectomyreversalhopeful · 07/03/2022 13:10

So sorry for your loss beauty Flowers

Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to your question but I imagine that a disrupted cycle or two is very normal.

alwaysseeingstars · 07/03/2022 09:38

Huge congrats @Worryant ! So exciting, must be a lovely relief seeing those words written down

PinkButtercups · 06/03/2022 22:39

Congratulations to the two BFP's!

AF has pissed off so can try again now! Took a cheapie ovulation test strip today and it was the faintest of lines. I'll do one again in the morning.

Jennifer89 · 06/03/2022 22:28

The spring daffodils and longer days are making me feel like not much longer to go now till can ttc. Dh is still waiting for eye operation date but has been told should be by early April so looks like May now to start ttc..

Jennifer89 · 06/03/2022 21:56

Congrats @Worryant and @FourOclock. How exciting to have first group positives. Gives me hope too!

HippeePrincess · 06/03/2022 21:51

Congratulations to the two BFP’s in the group, I’ve missed loads in the last few days!

We’ve been getting some of the house sorted which is a step closer to trying for us.

@tryingtryinggone yes neither of my births went to plan, although my second much closer to it! I was induced for both and had put induction down to the reason things went so out of control with my first so I was so upset when I hit 42 weeks with my second and ended up induced again but I was able to use PBC to really advocate for myself. I still got my water birth despite being induced (my husband says I was like a broken record with every single midwife arguing my case for a water birth 😂😂). It really empowered me to know my rights and make informed decisions rather than just go along with whatever the midwife said!

Worryant · 06/03/2022 19:22

@FourOclock yes, November too! Currently saying 13th November but as I think I ovulated later I think that might shift a bit. Going to have an early scan at 6/7 weeks which should give me more of an idea!

tryingtryinggone · 06/03/2022 13:27

@Worryant congratulations!! How exciting!

@WingingIt09 I also really rate the positive birth company. My birth was nothing like I planned (water birth on mlu ended up being induced) but because of the knowledge I’d got I was able to make it a really positive experience and actually enjoyed giving birth 😂

FourOclock · 06/03/2022 11:54

@Worryant will you be November due date as well?

HeathenPlayingHouse · 06/03/2022 11:28

Congratulations @Worryant! Fantastic news!

Sunshine0987 · 06/03/2022 11:16

Huge congratulations @FourOclock and @Worryant 🤗

Beautyangel1 · 06/03/2022 10:30

Hi all.

I had a surgical management of miscarriage 4 weeks ago. Should I be worried that I haven't had a period yet? Xx

Worryant · 06/03/2022 09:59

Not out yet @OCM19 but appreciate how hard it is seeing BFN. Still early days so fingers crossed for later this week. And I used easy @ home opk and the premom app. I was also using clear blue advanced digital and has to start doing opk in the afternoon when I saw a slight rise in the morning. Think I would have missed my peak if I hadn’t. X

WingingIt09 · 06/03/2022 09:48

@OCM19 how many DPO are you? You're not out till AF arrives x

OP posts:
Dreamingof3 · 06/03/2022 09:27

Oh wow I don't come on for a few days and look what I've missed 😂😍

Huuuggeee congratulations @FourOclock and @Worryant

Can't believe we've got our first bfps! So exciting 🙌

OCM19 · 06/03/2022 08:37

Morning all, I caved and took a FRER test this morning, a BFN so will just try and wait until Thursday when af is due. I think I’m out this month.

Would people recommend the One Step or Easy @ Home OPK’s? X

Vasectomyreversalhopeful · 06/03/2022 07:38

Congratulations worryant!

Worryant · 05/03/2022 21:44

Feeling ok thanks @OCM19 - tired but always am with toddler and work etc! No symptoms really, after being so sick first time round I am happy for that to stay away as long as poss! Fingers crossed for you, when can you test? Annoying covid, hope you only get two lines on your pregnancy test!

@Tropicana1 thank you! Also had a similar experience to you with positive birth company, I had quite high expectations as I was a very diligent student with affirmations etc! But when it came to it, the experience I had just wasn’t what I’d been expecting. Agree with the advocating part though. But I was sad to miss out on the positive experiences I’d watched and read. But once baby is here it sort of stops mattering how they made it into the world!

WingingIt09 · 05/03/2022 20:48

@Tropicana1 I'm sorry you felt you had failed, absolutely not the case regardless of what your particular birth experience was and I hope you don't still feel like that now ❤️ our babies and bodies definitely have minds of their own when it comes to birth. Im glad you felt it helped you advocate for yourself though - that was one of the best bits I got from it too, the knowledge really helped me feel empowered to be my own advocate and for my DH to advocate for me too! I did have the postpartum course too and barely got halfway through it 🙈🙈 just no time with a toddler and a newborn

OP posts:
Tropicana1 · 05/03/2022 20:34

@Worryant congratulations!! Lovely to see it in writing I bet.

I had mixed feelings about the positive birth company course - I felt like it gave me this somewhat unrealistic idea / expectation of labour and birth which did not transpire for me! But on the other hand it hugely gave me the confidence to advocate for myself when things took a turn so that bit was good, but for a while I felt like I had "failed" because I hadn't had this amazing positive lovely experience. The postpartum pack and especially the postpartum provate Facebook group was so valuable - my main source of info for newborn baby worries!

DanceWithYourBalloon · 05/03/2022 20:33

@OCM19
Pesky Covid.
My husband tested positive at the start of my cycle then I tested positive about 6 days ago.
I'm struggling with fatigue and really don't know if it's a symptom or Covid! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
