Evening all! Just catching up. I think AF has arrived 😞 I have just arrived in London for a work meeting tomorrow so think I’m going to have some comfort food, a bath and an chilled evening! I hope everyone is ok - I feel you will all understand my disappointment! X

Amber17 · 09/03/2022 18:14

Thanks @Dreamingof3 I’ve managed to add them to premom. Darkest one is only 0.47 though.

@WingingIt09 Mostly early afternoon but that darker one was 9am as couldn’t test later, wonder if it had been a brief surge that afternoon and I missed it.

WingingIt09 · 09/03/2022 17:09

Haha @Duckandsarah that might be a factor. It was faint again this morning so I'm just taking yesterday as my peak so ovulating today. We're not trying yet anyway so it doesn't matter too much, just trying to get an idea of my cycle. Looks like it's about right for going back to 28 days cycles now since I've peaked on day 14.

@Amber17 when are you testing? My surge seems to be a rapid one as literally only darker for a day and then back to barley there lines. I think I definitely need to test 2/3 times a day to catch mine.

Dreamingof3 · 09/03/2022 16:38

@amber17 there's tabs at the top for different tests on premom x

Duckandsarah · 09/03/2022 14:27

Weirdly I’m also having trouble with opks! They are all showing negative even though I can tell I’m in my fertile week. I’ve just realised they are out of date… Confused

@WingingIt09 I’d class that as a peak if it was mine. It’s so down to time and dilution of wee that I think as close as that would be a peak.

Amber17 · 09/03/2022 13:06

@WingingIt09 I’m having a similar issue! Last three days had a faint line, getting darker but not as dark as yours - today barely anything. Temp still around the same. I’m day 13 post implant removal.

Pic is today at the top, then yesterday etc. I know I should let them dry more but last few days I was at my mums and didn’t want her wondering why I was in the bathroom so long!

Does the premom app work if you’re not using their tests?

@wingingit09 I would probably just class it as your peak for this month then!

WingingIt09 · 08/03/2022 20:08

@Dreamingof3 yes that was my thoughts too. So annoying that I had a full day in the office so no chance to test 🙈 Not temping this month as DDs have not been sleeping well recently so it was all over the place.

@fouroclock so hard not to worry isn't it! I didn't really get symptoms until 6ish weeks either so could just be a bit early. And as @wingingit09 said, lack of symptoms doesn't mean anything is wrong

That does look fairly dark but I wouldn't have said peak, maybe you missed the peak as you didn't manage to test for a while. Are you temping as well?

WingingIt09 · 08/03/2022 17:44

Sorry to hear you're feeling anxious @FourOclock it's so hard when all you have to go off is symptoms. Lack of symptoms doesn't mean the worst though, so stay positive (easier said than done I know)

OPK advice... Lines started getting darker yesterday, got a pretty dark one this morning (unsure if positive or not) which registered as high on Premom app but not over 1, which is what I thought positive was. Annoyingly couldn't test again till 5pm because of work and it was a faint line again. Premom is now saying that this mornings was peak? Was the one this morning actually positive? I'm confused 😂🙈 attached Premom screenshot and photo of this mornings test

Oh that's really reassuring Pink, thank you. God I would love to not have loads of sickness this time but also want the reassurance of symptoms 🙈

PinkButtercups · 08/03/2022 17:38

@FourOclock

I'm feeling irrationally worried today, I don't feel pregnant at all, nausea has gone and don't feel too tired. I'm sure it's fine as I'm only 4 weeks and in my other pregnancies I don't think I'd had any symptoms yet, but just feel a bit worried that I was having some minor symptoms and now none Sad
I'm sure all is fine. I know it's easy to worry though. With my DS I had evening sickness of feeling a bit nauseous for about 4 days. Then no symptoms at all until about 16 weeks and had severe heartburn up until he was born at 38 weeks.
FourOclock · 08/03/2022 14:49

I am considering an early scan, I didn't have them with my last two but mostly because I avoided leaving the house unless absolutely necessary thanks to sickness! I don't remember being this worried about miscarriage the last two times, funny really, thought this time would breeze by but apparently not!

Worryant · 08/03/2022 14:00

Sorry to hear you’re feeling anxious today @FourOclock - I feel low level worry all the time. Are you planning any early scans or anything? I don’t feel nauseous at all and had HG last time. My symptoms in previous pregnancy didn’t kick in till six weeks so trying not to worry till after then. Here to chat if you need. X

Brightonbelle87 · 08/03/2022 11:41

Congratulations @Worryant!

@Beautyangel1 I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage last year and it took 6 weeks for my period to start and then it was a very heavy one. Next one took over 30 days instead of 28 and was heavy again. Then it sorted out and I'm back like clockwork. But of course I'd rather it not start at all and be pregnant instead! Give yourself lots of time and self care, wishing you all the best x

alwaysseeingstars · 08/03/2022 09:12

@OCM19 and @QueenBee22 your little ones sound adorable! Making me so broody haha (never felt broody in my life until about 6 months ago, good old biological clock eh!!)

FourOclock · 08/03/2022 06:28

That sounds like it could be a sign of ovulation @MargaritaEagle?!

MargaritaEagle · 07/03/2022 22:58

Hi all. It's my first month TTC #2. Yesterday and today I've been cramping and I have snot like cervical fluid. My period isn't due for another week or so. Could these be early pregnancy symptoms?

TheOnlyException1 · 07/03/2022 22:14

@OCM19 @QueenBee22
Aww adorable! You're making me extra broody, they sound wonderful ☺️
I just can't wait to start my own family! AF just needs to hurry up and pass so I can get trying again this month! 🤞

OCM19 · 07/03/2022 21:40

Aww @QueenBee22 it’s so lovely isn’t it! I didn’t expect him to react like that, he even went into the bathroom and tried to get some tissue paper to wipe my eyes, but just ended up with the roll everywhere!

QueenBee22 · 07/03/2022 21:27

@OCM19

I know the feeling! My wonderful husband told my toddler give Mommy a hug becuase she is sad (after I got my period last month) and he ran up with a huge smile and then kept coming back for more hugs. They are very perceptive to what's going on around them!

OCM19 · 07/03/2022 21:21

@Bear486 I know the feeling!

I’ve also been extremely emotional and irritable, but the cutest thing happened with my DS. I was tired and trying to make a phone call and he was crying so I said to the lady I would call back. I burst into tears and my DS looked at me and said ‘mummy don’t cry, I will dry your tears’ and pulled his sleeve over his hand and dried my eyes. He then kissed me and told me he didn’t like seeing me cry! It melt my heart and reminds me that, even in the stress of it all, they are SOOO worth it! ❤️

LucyLoopyLu · 07/03/2022 19:49

@bear486 ooh exciting! You're on your way now!
Maybe being irritable is just hormones as you settle back into a rhythm... for me I think it's my modus operandi 😄

Bear486 · 07/03/2022 19:26

Hows everyone doing.?

So I've finally had my first period since removing my implant. We've dtd a few times before / after, if all is correct my next period should be due around the 20th March so we're see what happens.

These last few days I've become incredibly irritable, short of patience or extra emotional and sad! How knows what's going on with me right now lol..
