TTC with one Fallopian tube

5-7dpo today. Not really having any symptoms at all after having lots of pelvic discomfort a few days ago. Breast tenderness seems to have settled. Hopefully this is good as always have super sore boobs when not pregnanct

@NewtoTTC87 when I've had my levels tested before, they've never told me the first number, only the numbers when they have both to compare. And I would say the timing of your positive suggests later implantation so I think you'd definitely expect the number to be lower. Are you having bloods done again or just your appointment on Tuesday?

@NewtoTTC87 and @HoneyLemon29 I am day 13 today. When I went on Monday I had one follicle of ovulation size, and then a couple a little behind. So I am taking my trigger shot on Monday, and there's a chance the big one might ovulate on its own. I haven't really been tracking to know. I did an OPK on Sunday, didn't take a picture but it was quite dark - wouldn't say peak. I've done one a day since and they haven't been as dark as that. So I have no idea if I was about to ovulate on Monday or if I just haven't. But I'll take actual ovulation as when I take my trigger shot. It's a bit confusing this month!

@HoneyLemon29 is the blue line temp and pink line Lh? I think it looks like you did ovulate, and you've definitely had enough action to give yourself a good chance!

Ah yes, wouldn't that be a perfect situation. Everything so straight forward. Rather then agonisingly waiting and counting the minutes... Having said that, I am trying to take my own advise and keep busy. I feel ok. My cramping has calmed now, feeling a bit nauseous. Trying to think there are bigger things going in the world right now..

Considering I was negative on a test on Saturday 19th (11dpo) and on Sunday 20th (12dpo) my first positive. I guess normal for the hcg to be very low on Monday, (13dpo) what do you think? I do know what you mean though they don't have anything to compare it to so will not know how quickly its rising.

Thank you for your kind words. I know I'll end up testing early next Thursday. I'm still skeptical about my low LH surge but everything else seems to indicate it's happened? I'm actually ordering a progesterone Medicheck kit at the weekend to make sure my progesterone levels aren't low. So I can be prepared if a pregnancy test turns positive. Here's my chart so far. As for ovulation pain I was getting pain that required painkillers on the right side (side with a tube) on the day my LH surged. But since then I've been getting mild pains going from left to right and cramping ever since. Sore ish boobs and a breakout of spots so there's another sign progesterone is on the rise.
DTD everyday day for a week up until 1DPO 🙈 so we shall wait and see 😅

@NewtoTTC87 thank you for your message the other day. You're right about trusting my body, and also what you just wrote about doing all you can, so just allowing things to happen and not worry - very true. I'm going to try this this cycle.

Sorry to hear you are having to wait again - it's just the worst. Honestly in an ideal world I would like to find out when I'm about 8 weeks plus, so I don't have to have the waiting.
Hcg being low isn't really a good indicator without a comparison after a couple of days. Everyone is so different, so try not to worry about that.

You also hugely reassured me about it being your opposite ovary. This group is full of such positive stories.

Emotional days are the worse. Sending you lots of love. I know this stage is where you feel a bit helpless and cant help but wonder did you do it enough, did you get the timing right, is there going to be another months wait for another cycle etc. I know exactly what you mean... Maybe try and keep yourself occupied and do things that feels good? Sounds a bit of a cliché maybe imagine your fertilised egg travelling down your tube? Imagine yourself holding your positive pregnancy test in your hand... I don't know whether I am clutching at straws lol but I keep visualising the scan where they tell me and hubby everything is fine and crying from happiness.
I have heard so many happy stories around me in the last couple of weeks I honestly have a good feeling about you too! Message the group whenever you feel anxious and or want someone talk to. xx

Yes my apps predicting me at 2DPO with my temp now on the rise and LH dropping back down. I had a really emotional day yesterday thinking "have I done the right thing"
Just feeling a bit anxious now the deeds done knowing there could be a fertilised egg going through the tube 🥺😰 x

@HoneyLemon29 they said progesterone was high so that was good but the hcg quite low, as they predicted. I am booked for another scan on Tuesday morning. Hopefully they will be able to see something then. I haven't told anyone, just trying to get on with everything as normal - not letting myself think or be happy yet.
How are you feeling? Will you be starting the 2 week wait now x

I'm on another thread and might have just found something that might interest ladies on this thread. It's called Medicheck! It's an at home blood test (finger prick test) that can test for all sorts of things regarding fertility. So this month a week before my period is due I'll be doing the progesterone check test. It'll be confirming that i have indeed ovulated and whether my progesterone levels are a good level to support a pregnancy. They also do HCG tests and 48 hour HCG tests. Thyroid checks. I'm sure there's loads more but this is all I've looked for at the moment 💜

Hey ladies. So I went to have a scan yesterday. As we all predicted, it was really early and they couldn't see anything. I am only 3 weeks pregnant. They done a blood test and asked me to come back next Tuesday 1st March as they predicted that they will able to at least see the location then and can confirm whether its a healthy pregnancy.
This week will be the longest of my life. Praying everything will be ok.
They did also say that ovulated from the tubeless side (right) and my left tube picked it up! So hoping this gives everyone some hope.
I am getting some weird pains, it feels left sided but then at times right. I am trying to not stress and not think about it. Please pray for me.

@HoneyLemon29 - I think your strips look pretty positive, mine actually don't even get that dark ever. Hoping this month is your month too! x

@Mortifiedwoman since my ectopic pregnancy surgery, I have been getting ovulation pain however I didn't have any pain this month... which made me feel like did I even ovulate? Like I said, my strips never come up as strong or dark.. so don't stress! x

@Mummyme87 I started testing really early too as you hear people getting their positives at like cd9. I was as negative as it can be at cd11 and only got my positive at cd12 x

@Mummyme87 I'm the same. I do well and testing isn't on my mind then one day I'll wake up and thinking "I need to do this today"
I'll try my hardest this month but I know I'll cave 🥴

@HoneyLemon29 I’m a terrible early tester. I aim for 10dpo but always start at 7/8dpo 😣 I don’t know when I’ll test this cycle now I’m not sure when I ovulated

@Mummyme87 will you be pregnancy testing at any time or just waiting and seeing if AF turns up? That for me is a hard question because I say to myself I'll wait but when that time comes around I can't resist 🥴 yea I'm guessing it's down to the temp now to see if it keeps rising, I think that'll be the only way I know for sure now unless the tests change today x

It’s all very stressful isn’t it @HoneyLemon29 I’ve always been bang on for Ov, will be interested to see when AF comes this month (obvs praying it doesn’t come!!)

@Mummyme87 it's all very frustrating isn't it. My OPK this morning is still reading high 😬 my temp dropped yesterday but that should've dropped after ovulation not before surely? I'm tempted to give these OPKs up next cycle. Every other time they've been spot on and how they should be (before surgery) I can see why people say sometimes they're more stress than they're worth 😵‍💫
But then again they could generally be picking up that I am indeed having a failed ovulation this month. I don't know whether ovulation testing changes if you ovulate from tubeless side 😪

I wouldn’t worry about the number @HoneyLemon29 it looks very positive to me. My app has decided my peak was CD10, I’m going to assume it was the next day as definitely was not a positive OPK to my eye albeit very close

Well it's still pretty much the same 😬 if that's my true peak then it's the lowest it's ever been. I am tracking temp as well so will see what that does over the next few days and I'll continue testing LH tomorrow to see what the day brings 🤞

ohh sorry I misunderstood what you said, I know what you mean now they were checking which ovary will release an egg this cycle? I really hope your tube moves for you I really do 🤞 the problem with me is I over analyse everything, and because the tests aren't doing what they used to I automatically assume a problem. We've DTD about 6 nights out of 7 for the last week and I'm not stopping there 🤭😅

About an hour ago I had to ask my partner to grab me painkillers. I was in so much pain on the right side that resembled the Ectopic pain so much just the opposite side, then felt stitch line pain throughout my lower belly I couldn't walk properly. And now I'm worrying about that 😮‍💨
The pains gone now thankfully.
I'm going to test one last time today with an OPK in about an hour and I'll post the results x

@HoneyLemon29 I think it just means my left ovary is asleep 😂. There were two tiny follicles but not big enough to even note. My notes actually say something along the lines of 'no activity'.
Really hope my tube wakes up and does it's business floating to the other side.

That definitely looks like a good peak to me. I'm like you, always got really strong peaks, so I understand why it feels like it's not the same. But that's still really strong and I do think sometimes those apps just don't pick up the same result. I've had some dark ones that by eye I would say is peak, and it comes up as like 0.7.
I think you need to be getting DTD with those xx
