@HoneyLemon29 that's great to hear! Everything looks really positive, really happy for you :) xx

@myrainbowjourney how are you doing xx

HoneyLemon29 · 14/03/2022 12:47

Afternoon everyone. Hope everyone's doing okay?
I feel my tiredness is so out of control I've just been woken by the EPU ringing and was so disorientated on the phone 😅
I've just got levels back from yesterday after the scan, so far they've gone
15DPO 884
17DPO 2406
19DPO (42 hours later) 5456
Scan still in place for 13 days unless I get negative symptoms 😮‍💨

@Bundaberg84 im sorry AF arrived but glad to hear they're starting all these tests now to hopefully give you some reassurance 💜

@Mummyme87 I literally have no symptoms other than extreme tiredness and the occasional wave of nausea 😅

@LJF234 yes partner was there 🙂 and no symptoms other than tiredness and feeling sick every now and then, good luck in your 2WW xxx

Bundaberg84 · 14/03/2022 10:54

@HoneyLemon29 that sounds good though! I understand your situation of course and I guess I'd be the same, unless I see a little heartbeat in the right position, I wouldn't feel relieved yet. But only a couple of days to go!
With AF arriving and after a day of just sleeping and feeling sorry for myself (and wine, also maybe gin tonics, who am I kidding) I started the tests at the clinic. Called them at 9 and was there at 10 with the first tests, that was so fast I couldn't even start to get nervous. They did an ultrasound and were happy with the follicle count and size, so there's that I think? Also bloodwork, wasn't as bad as I thought (normally if I have to get bloodwork done in the morning I faint). I don't think I will hear from them until I did all the tests. Next week will be another ultrasound and hycosy, and the week after the last ultrasound and another blood draw.

@HoneyLemon29 sorry your scan didn’t give you the reassurance you needed, and was a generally unpleasant experience. Do you have any symptoms yet?

Mummyme87 · 14/03/2022 08:02

CD11 here, expecting Ov on CD13, but OPKs no where near positive yet, so we will see. I know in previous cycles it has gone from low to peak overnight. I’m doing BBT but keep forgetting to do it as soon as I wake, and I have quite restless sleep so who knows if it’s accurate. So far have DTD on CD7 and 10, will aim for tonight and CD13 aswell

LJF234 · 14/03/2022 06:26

@HoneyLemon29 sorry you didn't get the reassurance you wanted but all the numbers sound good so try and stay positive for the next two weeks. 🤞🤞 how are you feeling symptom wise?
I completely get the anxiety before the scan, was your partner able to be with you? I was on my own the whole time when it happened before and I'm not sure i can do that again...
@myrainbowjourney sending lots of ❤ and got everything crossed that you will test again today and see a stronger line. And if not it will be OK. If you need to come on here and have a rant then do!!

I'm OK thanks, finally got my static smiley on Thursday which was CD 19, so just waiting now. My cycles since my op have all been 26 days or less but I'm going to assume this one is a long one or I'll drive myself mad getting my hopes up for no reason
X

HoneyLemon29 · 13/03/2022 14:52

Hi everyone, just a quick update. The scan was an awful experience with past trauma and the staff had to try calm me down it was awful 😞 they've seen a sac but they aren't allowed to confirm 100% until they see something inside. They said for 4+5 they don't expect too. Progesterone was 60+ and they said anything over 30 is good and they've taken one last blood test which I'm still waiting for results for but going on past results they aren't concerned at all. Re scan in 2 weeks. They also found a small bleed next to the sac and said it's normal to form when baby implants and won't cause a problem x

myrainbowjourney · 13/03/2022 10:18

@HoneyLemon29 great numbers! Let us know how your scan is.

@LJF234 I'm not great today. Yesterday was test day for my clinic and I got a faint line. But it's the same this morning so it looks like a no go and I just feel really sad.

Thank you for checking in ❤️

How are you?

Hope everyone is doing well xxx

NewtoTTC87 · 13/03/2022 10:10

@HoneyLemon29 Good luck with your scan today. I am sure everything is going to be ok. Keep us updated. Will be praying for you xxxx

LJF234 · 13/03/2022 08:27

@HoneyLemon29 sorry to hear you had to wait longer but glad you're getting scanned, thinking of you this morning
@myrainbowjourney hope you're OK too this weekend
X

When I had my ectopic

Mummyme87 · 12/03/2022 16:30

Looking really good @HoneyLemon29
My HCG at 5weeks was 54!

Emily5674 · 12/03/2022 16:23

@HoneyLemon29 wow those HCG levels are amazing arnt they 😄 my ectopic HCG at 15DPO was only 325 so those to me seem great! Good luck x

HoneyLemon29 · 12/03/2022 16:11

Quick update for everyone
15DPO levels 884
17DPO levels 2406
Scan booked for tomorrow morn 😰😰
Terrified and shaking

HoneyLemon29 · 11/03/2022 17:11

@myrainbowjourney I am getting on off discomfort in my right side which has made my anxiety go through the roof. I'm so scared and now things are moving along and the anxiety is on top form. I do get similar pains in the left side and knowing I can't have an Ectopic in the left side I'm hoping and praying it's normal 🙏

HoneyLemon29 · 11/03/2022 17:08

It's only today everything's gone into overdrive, I'll type up an essay lol.
So my HCG results for 4+1 have come back today as 884! Which was a lot higher than expected. So I rang EPU again to have one last kick off saying making me wait till 6 weeks isn't on. They've agreed to see me tonight for a blood test. Which is 2 days after the Medicheck so hopefully by tomorrow results I'll have doubling numbers and a scan arranged for early next week. They say they want numbers over 1500 for a scan and if they have doubled should be 1700 and something today 🤞
I know it doesn't rule out Ectopic but I know it reduces the risk. And I'll have a scan ready over a week earlier than they first wanted 🎉

myrainbowjourney · 11/03/2022 16:39

@HoneyLemon29 how are you getting on?

HoneyLemon29 · 09/03/2022 07:57

@myrainbowjourney fingers crossed for you on Saturday 💜

@NewtoTTC87 I'm going to ring my own doctor at 4+6 so on Monday and see what they can do. For now my blood tests arrive today so I'll get my first result on Friday and 2nd result hopefully Sunday x

NewtoTTC87 · 08/03/2022 18:33

@myrainbowjourney it will definitely be ok ❤️
I feel fine to be honest. Don’t really feel much apart from tiredness. Finding it very hard to drag myself to work every morning. Oh and super sore nipples x

myrainbowjourney · 08/03/2022 17:03

Sounds good @HoneyLemon29. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about, but I can also only imagine the anxiety until you know it's in the right place. I'd be just the same.

Thank you @NewtoTTC87. You're right - it will be ok whatever happens.
That's exciting about next week. It seems to be going quickly, although probably not so much for you! Definitely expected to be worried, I think that's inevitable after past experiences. How are you symptoms wise? xx

NewtoTTC87 · 08/03/2022 16:33

@myrainbowjourney sorry forgot to answer question. In terms of what's next, I am planning on having another scan at 7 weeks (next week thurs), so that we can hear a heart beat. Everything still feels very surreal so it would be great to hear it. I am still full of worry but I guess this is expected at this stage. Then I am going to make a decision on where to have maternity care. They said I will have to have a c-section and be under doctor care as found a 2cm fibroid. Said nothing to worry about and very common however pregnancy and fibroids need to be monitored more closely apparently. So finger's crossed everything goes well x

NewtoTTC87 · 08/03/2022 16:27

@myrainbowjourney I can understand. No one tells you how overwhelming this journey can be. Try and listen to your body and how you're feeling. It's cool to have periods like this. Also remember life can be full of surprises not everyone feels different. I didn't. And not one part of me thought last cycle was the one. If it isn't this cycle, it will be next ok. Fingers crossed for Saturday xxx

@HoneyLemon29 sorry they're stressing you out more then what you are already going through. At least you're staying on top of it. I would call my GP though and tell them exactly what's going on, say how much anxiety this is causing you & the fact they caught your ectopic at 5 weeks so why wait? Praying everything is fine and healthy xxx

HoneyLemon29 · 08/03/2022 16:15

@myrainbowjourney I've ordered 2 blood tests at home that I can take 48 hours apart so I'm going to monitor it myself. Costs a little bit but I just want see what HCG is doing at least. I know some woman have doubling hormones with Ectopics but most don't. So would rather catch any issues earlier rather than later x

@NewtoTTC87 I just can't believe it after they said they would do it on the day I miss my period then change their minds. They know they can find a sac earlier than 6 weeks and even just a couple of days makes all the difference with treatment being successful or not 😮‍💨😮‍💨

myrainbowjourney · 08/03/2022 16:00

@NewtoTTC87 glad you are feeling ok. Busy is also good.
I'm day 25 today. I have to test on Saturday. I don't really know how I'm feeling anymore, I know that sounds weird. I want it here so I can move on, but I also don't want to see a negative test. I don't feel any different, which is the same as the negative cycles previous, so I just think I'm preparing for the inevitable 😢

What's next for you now? xx

NewtoTTC87 · 08/03/2022 14:39

@HoneyLemon29 they should definitely give you a scan sooner that's not acceptable. I was 3.5 weeks when they done the blood test and asked me to come back at 4 weeks 5 days when they done the scan and could tell where the sack was. I explained to them that my ectopic was also discovered at 5 weeks. So I agree with @myrainbowjourney go back to you your GP, they should be able to do an urgent referral. Alternatively lots of hospitals have walk in EPU clinics. Don't stress and good luck x

@Mummyme87 ah hope next cycle is the one for you x

@myrainbowjourney feeling ok super tired & keeping busy. How are you? What cd day are you? x
