2WW - Desperate to test!

Hey everyone,

It is my 4th month of TTC, and last night I had THE most vivid dream I was pregnant!

In my dream, I went a bit dizzy and nauseous at work, and decided to take a test to rule it out. It was just a cheapy strip test but there was a shadow of a line. So I made my partner bring me a FRER straight to my office, took that and there were two undeniable pink lines.

It felt so realistic, and yesterday I had a short spout of cramping in Asda - I'm daring to wish that was implantation and my dream is a sign it's my month!

Please distract me with stories of your premonitions / dreams / BFP's whilst I get through this 2WW because I am desperate to POAS!

@miamiamia869 are you saying you could be a week late on your period? If that's the case you can definitely test now - maybe get an FRER as they are more sensitive, if you are pregnant they should pick up a positive by now for you. I'd test if I was you :)

Hi, New here. I have am desperate to test but not sure if I'm being hasty. Was due 1 week ago based on a 28 day cycle, my cycle is between 28-34 days so only 2 days late for my longest cycle I've had but they usually 28-32 days.

I have very mild on and off cramping and tender nipples/boobs but that's the only symptom (same as period symptoms really). I don't know how long to wait before I test as I know my periods are somewhat irregular in terms of cycle length. However I want to know so bad but also don't want false excitement and then disappointment.

@TheBirdintheCave It's crazy - when you're younger at school they make it out like you look at a man the wrong way and you'll end up pregnant. I wish they'd been more realistic, it feels like it's nothing like that! I just need to remember it's not over until AF arrives but yesterday I felt so sure this was my month, today that feeling has completely gone!

@ElleBelleLou Yeah when you read the statistics it seems incredible that there are any humans on the planet at all!

5 days DPO and I'm exactly the same as you I've been reading it all and now thinking my Asda cramps definitely can't have been implantation. Then I depressed myself looking at all the low statistics of people actually getting pregnant. Not feeling as optimistic as I was yesterday!

@ElleBelleLou Thanks :D

I'm 6dpo today. How are you both feeling? I've just been reading that the average day for implantation is 9dpo and not 6dpo like I previously thought. I think I'll still do a cheapie at 8dpo though just to take the edge off haha.

ElleBelleLou · 14/02/2022 13:01

@TheBirdintheCave wow! I hope it comes true for you and you get a BFP soon. They do say when you're pregnant you just know. Maybe this is part of that just knowing

5dpo here. In December I had a dream I was pregnant and did turn out to be pregnant but it was a chemical. Months ago now I had a very clear dream that someone asked me when our second baby was due and I said October 2022. If that one is going to come true then this month is my last shot, lol. If I turn out to be pregnant this time then I'd be due on Halloween.

ElleBelleLou · 14/02/2022 12:34

@EishetChayil I'm literally only 4PO according to Flo (but I think I ovulated a day early based on symptoms). Don't know how I'll be so patient - I wish you could just know straight away!

How many DPO are you? I'm 6DPO today.
