@arianasky haha no I'm sure he won't mind 😝 I hope your next test is positive 🙌🤞 xx

@bunnykins123 I have my booking appointment tomorrow so don't think I will get a scan or anything. I'm feeling ok trying not think about it as it's depressing I would just cry all day. Nothing will change the outcome so just need to try and stay calm. My head is mashed. Xx

@arianasky that's looking like a very promising OPK! I would BD tonight if you can and maybe the next few days if you have the energy 😂 one of my cycles I had a positive OPK around CD9 and O on CD11 which was 1 cycle after my 1st miscarriage so it can happen early!

@Skl2021 did you manage to schedule an appointment tomorrow with the midwife? I think if they won't scan you (I reckon they will though) then defo arrange a private scan for peace of mind. How are you feeling now?

arianasky · 21/02/2022 16:21

@Skl2021 luckily we did BD yesterday and I've scheduled DP in for tonight when I saw the test 😂that sounds awful but I can't risk missing it and I'm sure he won't complain. 😂 I think I may take another later I'll try and do a 2 hour hold and see, I don't know if I am just getting my hopes up though and there's another reason why the test was dark and I had EWCM? Yeah definitely discuss it tomorrow I'm sure she'll sort a early scan for you 🙏🏻 ah definitely it's so long to wait when you're feeling like you are 💕 I have everything crossed for you ❤️

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 16:14

@arianasky I would definitely start getting busy then just incase 🤞 yes I'm going to see what the midwife says first and if they won't help I might book a scan I can't last until 12 weeks with the constant worrying. Are you going to take another opk tonight? Xx

OP posts:
arianasky · 21/02/2022 16:09

@Skl2021 yes I'm trying again this month 🙈 I'm just so desperate to be a mum I can't not try 😬 I can understand the scan anxiety, I was offered a scan to check I passed everything but I declined I couldn't go to a scan and nothing being there again 😞 I do think though if you're still cramping or worried in a few days maybe best to try and have one? Maybe even ask the midwife tomorrow? It will be scary but may be what you need to ease your mind 💕

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 15:51

@arianasky I don't know what to think I'm questioning everything now my head is mashed 🤦 are you going to try this month? You might have to get busy if it is ovulation 🙊 your tests arnt far off now xx

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 15:48

@Bridgey8 yes I think your probably ok aslong as you didn't fall on your stomach. Looks a beautiful place tho 💕 yes I will see what they say but I'm not holding out much hope will probably say it's normal and nothing to worry about. I'm actually thinking of a private scan now but I really don't want to do it xx

OP posts:
arianasky · 21/02/2022 15:43

@Skl2021 I don't know if this helps but when I started cramping this time it didn't feel periody it was the same pregnancy type twinges but stronger kind of like strong pinches so hopefully that's a good sign for you but everyone is different I guess, I have everything crossed for you ❤️ i thought that very strange maybe I'll ovulate in a few days I'll just keep and eye on it I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bridgey8 · 21/02/2022 15:40

@Skl2021 I think I'm fine. At the time it was extremely funny as I was sooooo wet. My welly's were completely full! But then I realised that I actually fell and thought shit!! But it was quite a slow mo fall onto my bum so hopefully ok. I haven't had much cramping but I'm so bloated and gassy that sometimes I think I've got bad cramps and it's wind (tmi). If your midwife can refer you then I would get a scan for peace of mind. Cramping is normal from what I read so fingers crossed it will all be ok but I can understand the anxiety. I'm literally anxious 24/7 - symptoms not strong enough, discharge weird, what if my progesterone is masking things etc etc. I thought about getting another scan in a week but then I would panic again if things hadn't grown in line. I don't know how people do this honestly! Xxx

Here is a pic of the pool I fell into to cheer you up.. being inspected by my dog.

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 15:29

@arianasky glad your feeling a little better 💕 yes they just feel periody which is worrying me. Your opk is really dark and with the ewcm I would say ovulation surely but it's very early?! X

@Bridgey8 omg are you ok? Always something to worry about isn't there 🤦 did you get cramps with your bleeding. I haven't had anything and since yesterday IV been getting loads 😩xx

@MiaGrace31 hope your bloods come back ok 💕 it's horrible being constantly worried xx

MiaGrace31 · 21/02/2022 15:14

Just catching up with the thread, sorry to everyone not having a good time at the moment, it really is the most worrying time ever. I was at the epu today at what I believe to just be 5 weeks, @aesgriff they could see a sac but that was it, so maybe you are just slightly to early if your just under 5 weeks. Because there wasn't anything to see other than the sac I have had bloods as well and have to go back for a repeat set on wednesday. Honestly nobody prepares you for the constant worry that comes with having a miscarriage xxx

Bridgey8 · 21/02/2022 15:13

Sorry just catching up.

@Skl2021 sending you loads of love. I'm still spotting brown discharge now and again and the EPAU said it was fine. Fingers crossed everything is all ok in there xx

@aesgriff I think you are just a bit too early. Got everything crossed the bloods are good and you get some reassurance

Sorry to anyone else who is having a rough start to the week. I somehow managed to do a coastal walk in Devon and fall over into a rock pool (fully submerged!) but am now obviously panicking that I've effected the pregnancy. It's just endless anxiety.

Xxx

Passenger87 · 21/02/2022 14:41

@Skl2021 did you manage to call in to work?

Hopefully the bean is so sticky it's just making more room and causing the cramps. Totally understand the worry.

We are here for you 100% whatever comes.

arianasky · 21/02/2022 14:23

@Skl2021 I'm getting there thank you, I hope the cramps you're having are just normal pregnancy cramps 🙏🏻🌈

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 14:17

@speake I hope so too but not feeling hopeful probably get a useless one again 🙈 xx

@Passenger87 cramps on n off I'm just feeling numb atm don't know what to think. X

@arianasky they should really think about what they say before saying it!! Hope your ok xx

@aesgriff I have everything crossed for your bloods ❤️ I'm thinking of you 💕

arianasky · 21/02/2022 14:01

Crazy question here, I'm CD8 today and I've had EWCM this am and twinges left and right side I took a OPK thinking it would be really light but I feel like it's dark for CD8!? Took one FMU then another just now and feel like they've darkened aswell? Last month I Ovulated CD19 after CP but the other months I've been CD13- CD15 and I was assumed after my MC I'd ovulation late again... is there any chance I could ovulate early after MC and am I just imagining things? 😂 I'll put a pic up of my tests from today I know they aren't positive but I feel they're quite dark for CD8 I had hardly a line this time last month? I'm just wondering if maybe the symptoms I'm getting are from the MC? Ergh it's all so confusing

@Skl2021 I'm so sorry about your GP that's awful especially saying that! It's so bad how different places in the uk have different rules and even different GP's 🙄 thinking of you 💕

Passenger87 · 21/02/2022 13:49

Sending so much love and positive vibes your way ladies.

It certainly has been a tough morning.

@Skl2021 I can't believe that gp! That's terrible. How are you feeling now? Has the cramping gone?

@aesgriff fingers crossed its just too early. I'm sure it's a whirlwind for you at the moment xxx

speake · 21/02/2022 13:41

Oops meant to tag @Skl2021 in that message xx

speake · 21/02/2022 13:41

So sorry that your GP was useless, the hoops we have to jump through are ridiculous! Totally understand guarding your heart but keeping everything crossed for you & I hope your midwife is lovely tomorrow 🤍

peachiekeen · 21/02/2022 13:33

It’s so ridiculous all the differing levels of support out there. I was told by both GP and EPU that they ‘don’t do’ blood tests anymore to check HCG levels and absolutely no scans until at least 6 weeks. Basically no one wanted to know or help. They were sympathetic but I think their hands were tied. There should be so much more support! What’s the point in an EPU if they can’t do anything?

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 13:10

@Ganesh2022 yes it is so easy don't know why we have to fight for everything!! 🤦

@aesgriff I can't imagine how u feel I'm already close to tears at the thought of being in the scan room. Dont know if I can do it. I dont even want to go to the booking Tomorrow which is in the same building. X

@bunnykins123 nope absolutely not there's nothing he can do or say from an examination. Just wanted a referral it's not hard. He was male which I know I shouldn't be sexist but he didn't care in the slightest and just said it can be normal and I said I just had a miscarriage and he said oh well there's nothing that can be done if it's happening again. I was like thanks for that Mr obvious great help you are. X

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 21/02/2022 13:04

@Skl2021 you are absolutely doing the right thing here. Stand your ground and do not let a GP push you into being examined. I'm amazed at how both you and @aesgriff had been told to go in for an examination. I can't see how it offers anything other than more anxiety 🤷‍♀️

@aesgriff you're right. It's totally taken any joy out of getting a positive pregnancy test. So much anxiety and worry when we should be excited and happy. I'll be an absolute wreck next time I get a BFP so I'm going to be depending on all of my lovelies on here to cheer me on 😂

@Ganesh2022 that's true. I had a very sympathetic GP call a few weeks ago who did a full blood panel when I know others won't do anything until RMC contacts them. She did say 'I've been where you are' so I suspect she took pitty on me and my unaccommodating uterus.

aesgriff · 21/02/2022 12:57

@Ganesh2022

...I thought it would be like in American movies where I'd carefully select an OB who would be with me the whole time. Grin I sure got a shock
If only this was the case 🤣🤣
