@HelloNope congrats on the BFP have you started feeling diff at all?

RosyappleA · 08/02/2022 22:52

@DancinOnTheCeiling thanks for that info on the ICs i really thought they are very sensitive.
@Peonies94 honestly I can’t seem to move on with my life until this happens I am so unproductive in every other area of my life atm other than FW lol. Hope that chest infection clears up this wait is even more draining whilst being sick, feels like the longest week of my life
@MummyMe87 can totally relate to your comment this is dragging so long and I am almost certain Im out this month I am ready for the fresh start already

lottieb92 · 08/02/2022 22:36

@Nico89 thanks for the clear blue triple check tip… I’m off to Amazon 🤣

3 dpo… sat working out maternity pay and getting ahead of myself in general lmao. Nothing to report just got to laugh at my positivity it’ll happen this month 😭

Hugs to those struggling this month and in the wait that lasts foreeeeverrr ✨

Nico89 · 08/02/2022 22:25

@DancinOnTheCeiling that's reassuring I had wondered if the ICs just didn't pick up much dye, the control is so dark but the test lines don't seem to be getting darker.

I've got a clear blue triple check box on order (on offer on amazon!)

I have a whole load of symptoms including headaches and dizziness and swollen tender boobs, So I'm hoping that's a good sign.

I have a pelvic ultrasound scheduled next week for the pelvic pain I had been experiencing and they are happy to still go ahead so surely they will be able to see something if all is well by then ?

MummyMe87 · 08/02/2022 21:56

AF arrived today, a day earlier than expected. I do always feel relieved to see it after multiple BFN, feels like a fresh start again. CD1, expect Ov on CD13 so about 20th Feb

DancinOnTheCeiling · 08/02/2022 21:33

Ps @Nico89 and my FRER was pretty dark (two people said it might be twins 😳), yet the IC was barely noticeable.. so I’m taking the ICs with a pinch of salt

Hi everyone,

I can’t keep up, so many posts. Sooo tired and feel like going to bed from 7pm 🤣.

Firstly, so sorry about those that are struggling/feeling hopeless. Sending soo much luck and baby dust and positive vibes for this BFPs!

Welcome to the newbies 👋🏻👋🏻.

Huge congrats @Cookiedough123
@HelloNope 🥳🥳🥳. Amazing news. Hope I haven’t missed anyone, my eyes can’t focus I’m so tired.

@jadew88 I was like “what’s a cricut machine”, then googled it. How amazing!!!

@BH1926 so sorry to hear about your mum, how heartbreaking 🥲. Sending so much love.

@Natalie2304 so sorry about the negative test and pre AF spotting. It sucks!!!!

Thanks @kizzy97 that’s really reassuring. Have had spotting since Saturday now so 4 days but apparently it’s normal?

@Nico89 thanks for checking in, yeah so 4 days of spotting.. hope it stops soon.. as for internet cheapies, mine have only progressed a bit but don’t look dark at all, yet I got a 3+ on a CB weeks indicator so I think internet cheapies are kind of rubbish. Even when I first got my BFP on a FRER the IC was hardly noticeable.. would you consider trying a different test?

Good luck to anyone testing tomorrow!! Keep us updated on the outcomes ✨

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 19:44

@RosyappleA aww no’ I had covid 2 weeks ago and now I have a chest infection which followed on from it! Absolutely, there’s no way I can even think about relaxing, Nevermind actually relaxing!!🤦🏻‍♀️ Mind is just in constant overdrive! Ahh your a day ahead of me! I’m 7DPO today! Hope you feel okay and it isn’t covid!!

RosyappleA · 08/02/2022 19:21

@Peonies94 yeah that’s really unfair having fewer chances it’s hardly easy as it is when your trying anyway. Of course I am sure sod’s law applies here as my mum says when you stop trying it’ll happen but here I am frantically overanalysing everything.
I am 8dpo normally today I would have implantation bleeding instead I have come up with a fever and I am worried it is covid as dd was sick the last few days, will get tested tomorrow. I am getting crampy pains but i don’t know if its my bladder as i am borderline developing a UTI. Nothing’s ever simple. AF please just show yourself now. I need to move on lol

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 18:33

@kizzy97 @Purple29 I’ve been trying to do the SMEP just to give us the most opportunity! So I am feeling a bit weird at the moment because I have a chest infection and I’m on antibiotics and they do all sorts of weird things to me, but I just sat down to eat tea with DH before he left for work, and I ate about 1/4 of my usual meal portion and felt really full! It was really bizarre and unusual for me, it’s probably nothing and I can’t imagine it’s a symptom as I probably wouldn’t have even implanted yet, but it was really odd!!

kizzy97 · 08/02/2022 17:53

@Purple29 that's what I was aiming for! The difficulty is just my cycles seeming to go off track atm!

Purple29 · 08/02/2022 17:43

@kizzy97 you've pretty much done the method my Dr told me to do!!

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 16:29

@RosyappleA yes I did think that about the chemical! I just hate that in a whole year of ttc I’ve had 5 chances! So it really takes that big longer! Thank you though, I appreciate it! That would be absolutely amazing! I always dream that I go for my scan or appointment of some sort and then they just tell me ‘did you know your already pregnant’ I would just love that! But I am also happy to go down whichever route I need to!!

Nico89 · 08/02/2022 16:28

@DancinOnTheCeiling how are you doing? You had been experiencing some spotting... Fingers crossed its just normal settling in for you.
I've ordered a digital with weeks as I'm so paranoid that I'm not seeing any progression with my Internet cheapies Sad

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 16:25

@kizzy97 thank you! Good luck to you too! Yes I’ve booked a table for afternoon tea with a friend I haven’t seen for ages! It’ll be so nice to catch up with each other! If negative Which I also feel it will be, I’ll definitely be having a few drinks!

RosyappleA · 08/02/2022 16:23

@Peonies94 ah amazing about the bloods and scan coming up I hope everything works out. Hopefully you’ll be pregnant and won’t even need to go down that route at least you're doing the best you can tracking ovulation as you know when to try. Also the chemical means you got pregnant recently so fingers crossed the next one sticks!

Got a horrible cold atm since last night now I feel I won’t even recognise being pregnant. Trying not to test til AF.

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 16:23

@Decaffe ahh it’s horrible isn’t it :( I know I kind of wish we’d started earlier too. We started 4 months before our wedding (knowing I could squeeze into a dress/slight alterations at 4 months) because my wedding got postponed from last year to this year! I am not that old, but just kind of regret trying earlier! Sending baby dust to you! That year mark really makes you think doesn’t it!!

kizzy97 · 08/02/2022 16:06

@Peonies94 I have every single thing crossed you!! I'll be testing on Saturday as I'm meant to be going out for a couple of drinks but think it'll be BFN either way

@MrsSamRowley it's so frustrating! Been like clockwork since I had my implant out in July and as soon as I start ttc in October they decide to go all over the place! Just done and OPK and now 0.62 which is low so I've either just missed my peak on my tests or I'm just about to have it!

MrsSamRowley · 08/02/2022 15:54

@kizzy97 I feel for you with the random cycles - mine are usually 26/7 days and last month's was 31 for no reason whatsoever! It really throws you with TTC as you don't know when to expect your peak and is stressful as feels as though you'll miss it.

I have to say though that DTD CD7, 11, 16, 16, 20 should mean you're pretty well covered whether you ovulated early or late so I'd try not to worry!

Decaffe · 08/02/2022 15:40

Big hug @Peonies94, coming up to a year here too, I have just wasted an hour of work time going on a Google of Doom, all the while for berating myself for leaving it this long to TTC, even though to do it any earlier would have been impossible for us. Now I feel crap and sad and rubbish and fed up. I just wanted to say I know how it feels Daffodil

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 15:22

@RosyappleA thank you just feeling particularly deflated today! Bloods come back fine, I have an internal scan next week then I’ll be referred to fertility I believe. It just seems to take forever waiting for each part of the process! I am more than happy to take anything if it means it’ll work quicker, just everything seems to take such a long time to just trying whilst we wait I guess!

Ahh sounds like your mostly covered! I’m cycle day 28 and I think I ovulated cd18 which is super early for me! Usually I ovulate cd30 or later! I plan to test on Thursday when I’ll be 9DPO with IC and continue each day until AF!

kizzy97 · 08/02/2022 15:11

@Peonies94 this is only my 4th cycle, I'm up and down positive one minute and then negative the next like now. I might do an OPK later but it's more than likely going to be low as I've probably missed my peak. Dtd cycle days 7, 11, 13 16, 20 (yesterday) and will possibly again tonight. Normally have a 28 day cycle but had a 33 day one last month and when I last did an OPK on cd 17 it was still low so no idea what's happening!

Sorry for the essay just nice to vent 😅

What CD are you on now? When do you think you'll test?

RosyappleA · 08/02/2022 15:10

@Peonies94 Sorry you feel rubbish it must really be tough. I know you’ve also had a chemical already during this time. I know by a year in you’ve probably done everything you need to do but Just wondering have you had a general check up to rule out everything else like underactive thyroid. Will you consider going to GP to take meds to help you ovulate? I had a friend recently and she was fed up trying and I told her if it happened naturally fine but there’s nothing wrong with getting the ball rolling and looking at other things. She had a perfect blood test but wasn’t ovulating regularly, she had check ups done the needed scans and medication worked for her first round. I know it is a last resort for many people and she could well have got pregnant naturally eventually but I just advised her what I would do in her shoes as there isn’t any harm in speeding things up or at least getting some peace of mind through a scan. A lot of people also end up getting pregnant before their first appointment. Guess it is that typical phrase I hear of it will happen when you stop trying. All the best x

Peonies94 · 08/02/2022 14:48

@kizzy97 that’s exactly how I’ve been feeling!! I did have the positive OPK and DTD around that time, however I’ never really know as sometimes I have 4 peaks a month! I also just feel like as it’s come to a year of ttc, is it ever going to happen? I need to stop thinking like this and going more positive though!
