That was meant to say really ‘hope’ (not joint)!

Oh no @ElleBelleLou what a tricky situation. Would they not be able to give you a medication with similar effect but that you can get pregnant on? I’m under a specialist clinic/consultant for a long-standing health condition, and they’ve always known to factor pregnancy in (when I first had health problems I wasn’t TTC so they put me on whatever was helpful for my health but since we’ve been TTC - a few years ago pre my DD they switched to a different medication etc). Really joint that’s an option for you! Xx

According to Flo I'm due to ovulate tomorrow, then it's just a waiting game!! Normally I cramp around the time I ovulate so I can tell when it's happening and what side I'm ovulating from. No cramps whatsoever today and nothing to indicate I am about to ovulate - hope it's nothing and I still get a fair chance this month! I plan on testing on 25th Feb as that's when AF will be due.

I have a doctors appointment on the 17th and they may discuss referring me to go onto a medication (not related to TTC or anything) which you absolutely can't get pregnant on, or for a year after being on it. Feels a bit like this month is my last chance to conceive before this medication pushes me back 2 years :( Positive words and babydust needed!

Decaffe · 09/02/2022 11:23

Does it say on the leaflet or box what it is?

Decaffe · 09/02/2022 11:23

@Peonies94

Are the IC usually tell you as early as a FRER? I have l a IC to test in the morning, it says it’s early, and I think it’s like ‘5’ or whatever instead of the 25 as standard, but wondered if that’s actually the case? Thanks
The early ICs are usually 10miu, FRER is 6.3, normal supermarket tests are 20 or 25. So they’re not far off a FRER!

12dpo BFN on a IC 10miu cheapie.

No spotting. Due on Sunday.

Ho hum. Brew

@BH1926 congratulations!!!

Natalie2304 · 09/02/2022 10:53

@Bundaberg84 thanks for checking in. That's very thoughtful 🥰 still spotting but that's usual for me before a full on flow.
Spoke with an accupuncture clinic yesterday that specialise in fertility. They even do male fertility testing. I have an appointment in 2 weeks and they are going to focus on lengthening my LP and stopping the pre AF spotting. Both of which I didn't used to have before I had my DD 2.5 years ago.
She did say that my body is most likely still getting back into a rhythm as I only stopped breastfeeding completely 6 months ago.
But she also said that the rest of my history/cycles etc sound perfectly normal so 🤞🏻 they can advise on ways to help relax about it all!

TeddyBeans · 09/02/2022 10:45

@Bundaberg84 not yet, AF due today but no sign yet. Will test Friday morning if AF doesn't turn up in the meantime

@BH1926 congratulations 😘

@Natalie2304 - how are you? I have my fingers crossed AF didn't show up and it was just spotting?

DancinOnTheCeiling · 09/02/2022 09:02

@HelloNope sorry you’re line is fainter than yesterday. Hope it goes darker again. Also, I think you need to wait two days to re test to give the hormone enough time to double.. I’m no expert though.. What times were you testing? I’ve done all mine in the evening; I kind of think not everyone’s FMU is best. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you xxx

@RosyappleA I think ICs have some value. I’ve only ever gotten complete stark whites on ICs until last week Monday when I saw a shadow of a line (very faint but noticeable). Then the FRER was quite dark. I was probably about 12 or 13DPO. So what I’m saying is they were good enough as a ‘screen’ before using expensive FRERs but in terms of darkness I’ve found them pretty rubbish as they seem faint for ages... they seem to progress a bit but if I only had them (and hadn’t done a FRER or CB weeks I’d think they’re way too faint). Hope that makes sense xx

Sorry for those who’ve had BFNs - hopefully just too early and remember you’re not out till the witch arrives xx
@DancinOnTheCeiling that's reassuring I had wondered if the ICs just didn't pick up much dye, the control is so dark but the test lines don't seem to be getting darker.

I've got a clear blue triple check box on order (on offer on amazon!)

I have a whole load of symptoms including headaches and dizziness and swollen tender boobs, So I'm hoping that's a good sign.

I have a pelvic ultrasound scheduled next week for the pelvic pain I had been experiencing and they are happy to still go ahead so surely they will be able to see something if all is well by then ?
@Nico89 🤞🏻 for the CB tests and your pelvic ultrasound. I think it depends how far along you are whether they can see anything. I have a vague memory that with dd they saw something quite early (had to have early scan to check viability), so even before I had progressed enough for a heartbeat they saw something - is it called a fetal pole or something? Ask them before they scan so you know what to expect xx

@HelloNope my acne is bad too, and it's weird because I do get spots during my cycle but weirdly it's always after AF! Normally my skin is at its clearest the week before AF arrives but not this month!

TheBirdintheCave · 09/02/2022 07:53

Congrats @BH1926! That’s a great line! :D

I think I may be finally ovulating today! I have pains on my right hand side which feels very weird as I almost always ovulate from the left.

mightbeyesmightbeno · 09/02/2022 07:46

@Peonies94 @HelloNope thanks guys. I know it's probably too early. I'm on CD 25 and when I've tested before I've had negatives until CD27 . So still holding hope!

@BH1926 that's a fabulous line! Congratulations!! Xx

HelloNope · 09/02/2022 07:02

@mightbeyesmightbeno You're not out until AF arrives. Hoping for a BFP for you this month x

HelloNope · 09/02/2022 07:01

@BH1926 congratulations!! There's no denying that line!
What were your chemical pregnancies like if you don't mind me asking? As I've tested again this morning but the line is lighter than yesterday's...even though I got 1-2 on CB Digital I'm still wondering if I've got my hopes up by testing too early. AF due Friday/Saturday.

Peonies94 · 09/02/2022 06:47

@mightbeyesmightbeno sorry to hear :( it’s so disheartening, but yes keep testing!!

BH1926 · 09/02/2022 06:39

I don't know why but something just told me to test this morning... 10DPO! I've had two chemicals last year so normally avoid testing early since them. So fingers crossed for a sticky bean! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

BFN on IC this morning :( 10d PO. Will check again in a couple of days.

Peonies94 · 09/02/2022 05:54

@RosyappleAi totally agree! I need to stop putting my life on hold and still plan that I can enjoy holidays etc! I just keep thinking ‘just save money for MAternity leave’ but then I also need to enjoy myself and not just wait! Hope you feel better too!

HelloNope · 08/02/2022 23:02

@RosyappleA Thank you :)
I feel a bit more fatigued and nauseous when I don't eat but that could be all in my mind!
