As the title says. Hands up if you were 100% certain and were proven right.

I'm 4DPO and just have a strong feeling. Just checking if I'm the only one.

Yes I just knew my body.

Jayjane79 · 06/02/2022 07:17

100 percent YES. At 8dpo I stood in the queue at home bargains and went all queasy and hot. I picked an FRER up from boots next door . I did the FRER that day along with a clear clue digital and both positive. I felt realy sick the day before to 7dpo but refused to believe it because I felt implantation evening of 6dpo and thought no way will I have symptoms that quick. Well I did. I'm now 6 weeks along.

mumsthew0rdd · 06/02/2022 06:04

@Peonies94 sorry you're feeling worse as the process continues. Wishing you all the luck and baby dust as well. I hope this is your month 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Let me know how you get on 💕💕

Both times due to nausea and vomiting. First time the smell of a freezer in Sainsbury's made me heave and the second time when a smoker walked through my front door and I rushed to the loo to throw up.
Both pregnancies multiple hospitalisations due to HG from 6 weeks.

So many more wonderful stories. It's been lovely to read so thank you all for sharing. Funny how much we are aware of subconsciously.

I've wisely stopped POAS for a few more days so will let you all know if I was right or way off! Xxx

I remember with DS1 getting changed at the gym and my nipples hurt like mad from chaffing on my sports bra. I thought it was weird and wondered if I was pregnant. I got BFP that weekend.

With DS2, I had what I thought was AF. Told DH I wasn't pregnant. AF vanished after a day and I knew then that I was. I'd also had implantation bleeding with DS1.

Northernsoullover · 05/02/2022 22:35

Second pregnancy I just knew. I had no symptoms and my period wasn't late. It was most bizarre.

PiesNotGuys · 05/02/2022 22:33

With my last two pregnancies I knew before the positive test because my pelvic pain and dysfunction started at conception. So when the pain started I knew.

After my fifth pregnancy though the pelvic pain also came back monthly with my period. For about ten years. So that was nice

grumpytoddler1 · 05/02/2022 22:32

I get spotting every day for maybe a week before my period, and both times I've been pregnant, I had no spotting. So i knew really early on. Of course I didn't know for sure until my period definitely didn't show up, but I had an inkling.

8stone13 · 05/02/2022 22:31

When I was pregnant the first time I noticed early after my BFP that my heart rate was significantly up. The second time I noticed this symptom well before my BFP, & put two & two together. I was undergoing fertility treatment & had been given a specific & early date to test on by the clinic, so it's not like I noticed it at 6+ weeks. It was very early & I absolutely knew just from my vastly increased heart rate that I was pregnant.

SRK16 · 05/02/2022 22:28

Yes, both pregnancies. Think I suspected at 7/8 days and was certain by day 10.

Bundaberg84 · 05/02/2022 22:25

It was a bit different but very weird, I just suddenly knew that particular cycle would be the one I got my BFP, even before I was in my fertile week, and I ended up being pregnant! It didn't stick though, but it was crazy.
Also when I had my chemical, I dreamt I was pregnant, woke up, took a test, and had a BFP. Very peculiar.

maybein2022 · 05/02/2022 19:11

Yes. Both times. I had a very strong feeling and was right. This time I have no idea and keep swinging between yes I think I am and no I’m not, so I think I’m probably not… good luck OP.

@IKeptYouLikeAnOath

Yes, woke up alone in my bedroom and somehow felt not alone. The only way I can describe it is that there was another soul in the room.

Had literally been trying for three weeks.

This is such a beautiful thought! I can't stop thinking about it!

Greenhippoblue · 05/02/2022 17:59

Yes. First time my periods were all over the place so no idea on dpo or anything and we weren't officially trying. I was walking to work and just had the weirdest feeling I was pregnant. Tested when I got home and I was positive.

Second time I knew we'd dtd around ovulation so knew it was a possibility. I woke up at 4am about 10dpo and just knew. Couldn't get back to sleep so went downstairs - DH came down confused before 6 and did a test and was +ve.

Weirdest feeling but honestly I just knew both times even though no physical symptoms.

MrsGHarrison87 · 05/02/2022 09:46

With my first 3 kids as soon as I missed one day of my period I started noticing a vein that always popped out on my right breast and my nipple on that side was always very sensitive. My periods are normally bang on 28 days, so as soon as I got to day 30, I just knew.
With my fourth I tested early because I was in Home Bargains and bought some cheap tests on a whim. My period wasn't due for another 5 or 6 days and I wouldn't normally test that early, but it came up positive and I was in total shock.

Babymamma192 · 05/02/2022 09:41

With my second dd I knew I was pregnant when I went shopping for a car seat for dd1 and the woman was explaining all the safety features. I felt like i was gonna start crying and I remember thinking what is wrong with me why am I so emotional and then I got out of the shop and it dawned on me 😂

I've been having the same emotional feeling for about two weeks almost crying at things on telly that aren't even sad......dont really want another baby so too scared to test!

IKeptYouLikeAnOath · 05/02/2022 09:34

JMPB · 05/02/2022 09:30

Yep I knew!
I actually thought at first I was imagining it because I literally had all the textbook symptoms and thought I was symptom spotting.
Low and behold 9dpo I got my BFP.
I had twinges on one side of my lower abdomen right from ovulation to about 6dpo; and actually had an ultrasound just after I got my BFP and was told that’s the side I’d ovulated so I guess I really could feel it all

Rrrob · 05/02/2022 09:15

Yes all three times. Although having said that, I thought I was last year and was wrong. Weird things gave it away for me. Suddenly a minute slower at parkrun and felt exhausted just walking around my local (hilly) area, falling asleep on the sofa in the evening and a major aversion to tea.

Honeyishrunk · 05/02/2022 09:12

Yes I ate my dinner and then weirdly threw it up. I thought possibly I was ill then did a test and got a BFP. It was a shock, a lovely surprise lol.

LuckyWithMyLot · 05/02/2022 09:01

Nope

RedRobin100 · 05/02/2022 08:52

Yeah first time because I was so late and had sore boobs
Second and third times because I was late.
Was pretty certain and test confirmatory.

Peonies94 · 05/02/2022 08:50

@mumsthew0rdd can’t relate, I’ve imagined being pregnant every cycle I’ve ttc for a year, and feel worse each month! but also 4DPO today, so a day behind you! Just wanted to wish you all the luck! Hope your right!

stuntbubbles · 05/02/2022 08:07

Yes, because I felt an implantation pain I’ve never felt at any other time except when previously pregnant.

But the corollary to this is that I’ve FELT pregnant and been CERTAIN I was pregnant and absolutely was not pregnant. So a lot of the “I just knew! And I was!” is actually “I ‘knew’ every month! And one time, I was right!”

No one is pregnant at 4dpo btw anyway, sorry.
