Well I caved today and this was on a one hour hold ... my hope is that it gets darker and all is ok this month

Yes I did a test this morning it came back negative but still no sign of AF. I’ll leave it 2/3 more days and maybe retest If I’ve still not come on. Yeah I am thinking it’s my hormones levelling out again

@Abbylouise1 my period took 32 days to appear after coming off the pill. My cycles are 25 days now.

@Abbylouise1 have you tried a pregnancy test?
I do think it takes a while for cycles to readjust after coming off the pill! So could be that. Lots of people noticing changes in cycle after having the Covid booster/vaccine too!

Hello ladies,
New to the thread and new to ttc. So sorry to hear those who have had negative results.
I’ve only just come off the contraceptive about 3 weeks ago. I’m 2 days late for my period and feeling very tired and headachy, not sure whether this is pre period symptoms or pregnancy. Wondering whether coming off the pill is causing the headaches and delayed period? Anyone had similar experience.

@MrsGrealish sorry to hear about the bleeding 😔. I’ve had two miscarriages and the advice is to wear pads and not use tampons as there is a higher risk of infection/tss. Just in case you weren’t aware x

Just realising I ordered a packet of FRER from Amazon due to be delivered tomorrow so this can be the final negative test this month. I've no idea how much I'm bleeding, shoved a tampax in early morning and slept most of day. Not ideal 🙈

@DM1720 it’s impossible to isolate away from kids. My SIL had covid twice while pregnant and baby was absolutely fine. Fingers crossed you don’t feel ill with it and your pregnancy progresses well

@DM1720 oh no 🙈 I can honestly say I wasn't expecting the blood in the morning. I have a vague memory of waking up in the night looking for my heat mat to put at my back then woke up in a pool of sweat in the morning. I should have done a preg test yesterday maybe seen a fainter line and knew what to expect. You can't protect yourself from your children when they are sick. It just can't be done. My wee girl was sent home from school yesterday but she seems fine and is testing negative.

So sorry to hear that @MrsGrealish. I miscarried 6 days after I caught Covid and I had the booster at 4.5 weeks. I’m sure it was just too much for my body. Hope you recover quickly xx

@MrsGrealish so sorry to hear you’re out. That came quite suddenly didn’t it, you had a good positive so recently. It’s heartbreaking seeing that line and then getting a period anyway. I’ve been there.
I have also tested positive for Covid. My DD caught it at school. She’s just got a mild cough. I now have it and I’m so scared I’ll miscarry again because of it. I feel stupid for not being more careful around my Dd. There’s nothing I can do now is there?! 😕

The only test I took yesterday was the covid one. I just think my body doesn't react well with covid. I had a chemical last month after the booster.
Tbh I think the lines should have been darker earlier on so it may have always turned out this way @Coastaldreamer
At least I can take the good painkillers now. Yay 🥲

I'm out😭 I woke up this morning in agony sore sore joints and backache. Managed to crawl to the toilet. Blood and tiny clots on wiping. Gutted. Good luck to everyone else trying for November babies xx

@Charl881 sorry it’s still a bfn, it is hard to not test when others get early positives. But there are plenty that don’t get them till later.

Welcome to the newbies. Nothing new here just symptom spotting till I test Friday, driving myself nuts thinking I am then thinking I’m not 🤪.

BFN for me this morning on a FRER. Pretty sure I’m out now and it’s a case of waiting for AF to show.

AF came a day early, expected after my recent BFNs. But looking at the calendar I’m still in the game for a late November baby this month.

AF can hurry up and go now so I can get back to it! 🤞🏻
