Just started this new thread because ours is full. Hope the name change isn't confusing 😂 Tagging you too @rita83 if you ever pop back in to say hi! Have I missed anyone? I'm so rubbish with my memory 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Hi @Cruz86 how are you doing?

We are running on similar cycles @Lucyasc - according to temps, I think I ovulated on Saturday / Sunday. We managed to stick to the every other day since CD10 to see if this helps the sperm.

My cousin got married at the end of October and news came round the family yesterday that she is pregnant, due September... so that's another first / second month pregnant situation. Sadanyway... it does feel more positive to know we have a plan at least.

Xx

Lucyasc · 06/03/2022 22:16

@Cruz86 hey lovely how are you? Think I got my peak today the test line was defo darker than the control seems to have shot up today!

How is everyone doing hope you've had nice weekends? X

Cruz86 · 06/03/2022 20:48

Hey @Lucyasc, how have the opks been over the weekend?

How is everyone @Ladylou17 @Mama500 @FlyOnTheWall89 @Janey3090? Xx

Good news my OPKs are starting to get darker and I'm getting a lot more CM now really hoping this month is our month 🤞🏻 as this will be the 1st time trying based on OPKs and not the apps predictions! How is everyone doing? X

Lucyasc · 02/03/2022 16:18

Ooo very interesting well hope you get some more BFP's sounds exciting!
Yes exactly my thoughts I'm hoping I'm just going to ovulate later this month rather than not at all, another negative OPK taken earlier we are still going to try tonight anyway to be safe. We get married on the 20th of this month which is so crazy! X

Cruz86 · 02/03/2022 10:42

I'm good thank you @Lucyasc! Still spotting a little every day and don't feel pregnant at all, but I got 2-3 on a clearblue digital today so something must be going on 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Ah okay, if you haven't used opks before it could be very likely that you don't ovulate when 'typical' for your cycle length. So I wouldn't be concerned if things don't add up with your app predictions. What date do you get married again? X

@Cruz86 how are you? How have things been? Thanks for your help! I havent used OPKs in previous cycles so this is all new to me really. App estimations are usually between day 12 and 15 but because I was early for my period most recently not sure how thats affected things. My CM is starting to thin out and become watery so hope might not be over yet! X

Cruz86 · 01/03/2022 19:10

Hi everyone!

@Lucyasc when do you normally ovulate? It could still be a few days yet. Are you drinking enough water with the busyness of last minute wedding plans etc? That could be affecting your ewcm.

How are you feeling this cycle @FlyOnTheWall89? I really would love it if you got your bfp soon too!!

I haven't been prescribed progesterone yet but I've got a blood test tomorrow and an early scan on Monday morning.

X

This is so random but last 2 days I've had hot flushes from 4pm onwards in my face - could thus be a sign I'm due to ovulate soon? Still no EWCM whereas every month I get it before I ovulate, perhaps I'm going to ovulate late this month? I thought OPKs would help they're causing me more stress if anything lol

Lucyasc · 01/03/2022 09:57

@FlyOnTheWall89 thanks so much! I've been off the pill for over a year and had regular cycles since think it might be stress causing my cycles to vary recently! I've been doing OPKs at different times of the day to figure out when is best seems between 4-6pm is best think I drank too much yesterday as I had a darker line at midday and then almost no line in the evening! Will stick to the plan of DTD for the next few days think I'm starting to get some CM so thats positive I guess lol.
Fingers are crossed for you! 🥰 hope you get a BFP this month lovely xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 01/03/2022 09:45

Hi @Lucyasc - how long have you been not taking contraception? That variance isn't anything to worry about, just make sure you're having sex every other day if you can manage that! That way you'll cover your FW no matter what. I think that is why people get stressed by OPKs. If you're back on a 29 day cycle this time, you'll get your peak in the next few days, but today / tomorrow / the next day would be key DTD days.

I'm CD 12 which has come around quickly again. Funny how much more quickly it goes when you're not in the TWW. We are trying to strictly do every other day rather than every day which it usually is around FW. Hoping that helps, maybe .. a tiny bit! Really would love a miraculous conception.

How is everyone else? @Cruz86 how are you getting on? Did you get some progesterone pessaries Xx

Lucyasc · 01/03/2022 08:20

Hi everyone sorry I've been absent the wedding has kind of taken over the last week or so! Hope everyone is doing ok? What have I missed?

So I was 3 days early for my AF which made my previous cycle 26 days (I average 29 days usually) so I feel like that's throwing my app and ovulation calculators off! I'm currently cycle day 13 and still no peak or high OPK's or EWCM I'm starting to worry!

Cruz86 · 25/02/2022 16:57

I'm also impressed that you were logged in by 7 😂 x

OP posts:
Cruz86 · 25/02/2022 16:52

Thank you @Janey3090. I've got a scan on the 7th to confirm it's an intrauterine pregnancy, then we'll discuss progesterone! I did a digital weeks indicator and got 1-2 weeks ☺️

How's your spotting and cramping now? Xx

OP posts:
Janey3090 · 25/02/2022 08:41

@Cruz86 so glad you got an appointment sorted! Best of luck. Have you tested again this morning? xx

Been up since 5am this morning with mild cramps/nausea, also had the tiniest bit of brown spotting (could barely see it), but I sadly think AF is on her way. Struggling a bit with anxiety too but I think that's all the other stuff going on right now! On the plus side, I was logged on my work laptop by 7am so can get my hours in haha x

Cruz86 · 24/02/2022 16:13

Oh I definitely had to have lots of butter on my toast too @Janey3090 😂 really hope you get good news on Saturday. Yes I've got a gp appointment at 9.20 where we'll sort out a referral to epu 🙌🏻 xx

OP posts:
Janey3090 · 24/02/2022 15:58

@Cruz86 oh that's interesting!! Guess will see happens. It is strange though as I'm someone who really loves my food, but I've only managed a couple of crumpets today (covered in butter of course haha), but could be getting ill maybe. Will test on Saturday I think at 11DPO regardless if no sign of AF!

Did you manage to speak to your Dr today? I know they can be so hard to get hold of lately xx

Cruz86 · 24/02/2022 14:15

Thank you @Janey3090! In all honesty, I don't feel much different either so I wouldn't take no symptoms as meaning anything. And not to get your hopes up, but I lost my appetite with my pregnancy in October. Couldn't eat anything but toast or food that I absolutely fancied and needed right then 😂 good luck.

Ah thanks @Mama500, so glad your spotting has stopped. How are you feeling? X

Mama500 · 24/02/2022 12:39

Huge congratulations @Cruz86 so pleased for you

Good idea to call gp

I’m fine thanks spotting totally stopped x

Janey3090 · 24/02/2022 11:23

@Cruz86 Aw fingers crossed they get back to you soon!

I'm doing good, holding out on the testing until the weekend! Feels like I don't have many symptoms so I feel AF is on her way sadly. However last two days I've completely lost my appetite and I'm just not hungry (which is very unlike me) but I don't think that's a pregnancy symptom x

Cruz86 · 24/02/2022 11:10

Thank you @Janey3090! I'm waiting for a call back. How are you doing? Xx

OP posts:
Janey3090 · 24/02/2022 08:40

@Cruz86 those lines look so good for 9DPO, so excited for you! Good luck with your GP, definitely sounds like the best idea to speak to them xx

Cruz86 · 24/02/2022 07:54

Thank you @Ladylou17 ❤️ I thought ah yeah, this is good, no spotting 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

How are you @Mama500? Xx

OP posts:
Ladylou17 · 24/02/2022 07:47

@Cruz86 100% there lovely, definitely ring the gp for reassurance and chat about progesterone I can only imagine I would feel the same. I'm so thrilled for you xxx

Cruz86 · 24/02/2022 07:40

I'm just petrified of things going wrong because of my progesterone levels @Ladylou17 xx
