Thanks all! 💕 I am holding my wee until I get home at half 5 haven't been since 12 lol. I'm about 13 dpo roughly, still getting waves of sickness but equally starving haha. I'm trying not to get over excited but it's hard isn't it x

Mama500 · 08/09/2022 14:17

FlyOnTheWall89 · 08/09/2022 13:49

Thank you @Cruz86 - I have now for a few things from a brand I love called Binibamba and then the usual White Company. It's so exciting and with a growing stomach shopping for me isn't as exciting anymore haha x

FlyOnTheWall89 · 08/09/2022 13:46

@Lucyasc omg exciting. It looks good - so hopeful for you. How many DPO do you think you are? I would probably do a long hold and try tonight but keep expectations low and fingers crossed for the morning. I had no pre-positive symptoms. Xx

Cruz86 · 08/09/2022 13:34

Hi all, sorry I've been so shit on here! Trying to survive the summer holidays 🤪 and then my little boy started school yesterday, whirlwind of emotions 😭

@FlyOnTheWall89 congratulations on a little girl!! Sooo exciting. Have you started buying anything yet?

@Lucyasc yes definitely a line!! Mine was so much lighter than that. Congratulations 🥰

Hope you're both okay too @Ladylou17 and @Mama500 xx

@Lucyasc when I got my super fish positive I did another test in the evening (tried not to drink much and hold pee for 3 hours) and got a solid line and positive early digital. Let us know how you get on 😊 exciting xx

Lucyasc · 08/09/2022 07:44

Thank you both! Hope you're well!
I'm cycle day 31 usually I'm due on CD 28 or 29 last month was a 33 day cycle which was very off probably due to stress. I was so convinced we weren't going to be successful this month as we only DTD once during peak when I had the most CM! I'm just really scared to do another test and it comes out negative, should I wait until the morning? Or does it make no difference lol, my husband is so scared to get excited with just 1 positive test!

Ladylou17 · 08/09/2022 07:07

@Lucyasc that looks positive to me!! 💜💜💜 xx

Mama500 · 08/09/2022 07:06

Hi @Lucyasc

that looks positive to me!!!

if you’ve got another I would try again especially if you are due on today.

My first positive was a lot more faint than that.

Sorry all I’ve been quiet on this thread hope everyone is well.

Lucyasc · 08/09/2022 06:05

Good morning! So I took a test this morning 3:30AM to be exact lol and this is the photo after about an hour however the line showed within 30 seconds and was obviously darker at the time of the test. What do we think? I'm due on my period, been feeling really sick, weeing a lot, pulling/pricking sensations, mild cramps, had very light spotting 2 days ago and sore nipples! I'm scared to take another test today incase this is a false positive should I wait until tomorrow's FMU? I've taken a lot of these specific tests in the past and all have been very much negative not even a vvvfl! If it's positive I'm roughly 4 weeks x

Lucyasc · 01/09/2022 08:24

Aww congratulations thats lovely news 💕
I'll speak to my hubby tonight about it all and see how he feels if I stop testing all together and we just try to DTD more often. Hopefully that'll help, at least I know I've never had a peak before CD 15 before so if we start at CD 16 then we should cover all bases. Thanks again for all your help xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 01/09/2022 08:14

And don't be stressed by that cycle 15 think which obvs feels miles off for you - we had sperm issues so take that into account. @Lucyasc

Don't think I've updated the thread to say we are having a baby girly 🎀🎀🎀, which I'm thrilled about.

FlyOnTheWall89 · 01/09/2022 08:11

@Lucyasc absolutely that amount of time felt like a lifetime to me. I totally get it. I think every 3 days is perfect. Arguing isn't fun and it doesn't exactly put you in the mood. The month I got pregnant I think we dtd on the Saturday or Sunday and the Tuesday and I thinkkkk but can't be sure I ovulated on the Wednesday or Thursday. I wasn't tracking using anything just roughly knew I usually ovulated in CD17/18 ish. Sending you so much luck. Months 6-11 were the worst for me and all the looking tests felt overwhelming but with each one ticked off, I felt closer to the month I would eventually fall pregnant (which I think was month 15) xx

Lucyasc · 01/09/2022 07:49

@FlyOnTheWall89 thanks so much! I've just sent my husband a message pitching this 10 day idea from cycle day 16 onwards each month as I usually get my peak on day 17 and then we try every 3 days. We've tried DTD every other day but it's too much for him and we end up either arguing about it or just not doing it at all so perhaps 3 days will be best. I do want to stop all my tests its causing a lot of stress I think subconsciously. I will wait for my period to come this month and then book my blood tests cause I need to just get them done. We've been trying since January I know its not that long but it feels like forever, a few people on my team at work have just announced their pregnancies and it's so upsetting everything is just a lot at the moment! X

FlyOnTheWall89 · 01/09/2022 07:13

@Lucyasc oh I'm a fainter too and I've managed to do loads of bloods now. I'm so bad I can pretty much pass out over the phone (when my baby sister broke her wrist and needed surgery for eg) or watching something too graphic. When you're pregnant you'll have bloods taken so it's better to begin to build a strategy now. Always tell the nurse, lie down and squeeze your hand so they can easily find a vein. Don't look and if they are good, they'll just talk and talk and talk at you. It really is mind over matter. Tapping is supposed to be amazing too but I haven't needed to go down that route yet.

I'm sure they are fine, but I think it's a good tick on the box. I do really think you've got to be dtd more - maybe just over a ten day window around ovulation. I wouldn't rely on OPKs. I totally understand sometimes it just feels like such a transaction when you really cba.

I did exactly that - once I got confirmation I was regularly ovulating around CD 17/18, combined with how I got too involved with studying my chart, I stopped doing it.

I'm sorry it's taking a while. I really do empathise. Once you've got your bloods done and they're deemed fine, I think then your OH should get a sample tested. How long has it been now?

Lucyasc · 01/09/2022 06:55

@FlyOnTheWall89 yeah I think it has affected the results too some mornings I'd wake up at 4am go back off to sleep and I take my temp at 6am so it's defo been up and down. Tbh I'm not even sure anymore I did the whole BBT thing just to give myself a bit of relief that I am actually ovulating so perhaps I should stop now cause its causing me stress worrying every month we missed our day or we tried too early etc. Usually my LP is 10 days at least I know it should be longer but I think that's the minimum. I keep putting off my blood tests as I'm a fainter and keep telling myself that my scans were clear, my periods are regular and all my tests show I'm ovulating 🤷🏼‍♀️ my husband is still yet to get his appointment for his test.
I think we need to DTD more often as soon as I've had my positive opk we try a few times and then stop until next month I've tried to tell him we should try more but don't think he gets it! Sorry this has turned into a right rant haha xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 01/09/2022 06:19

Hi @Lucyasc I would think your sleep has effected your chart. I stopped temping after 3/4 months because I just got so obsessed with trying to work it all out and then the build up 2/3 days before my period. Do you seem to have a regular ovulation day? How long is your LP of you don't ovulate till day 21? X

Lucyasc · 01/09/2022 06:12

Good morning all, hope everyone is doing ok? How's everything going? Xx

My BBT chart this month is all over the show, I've not done any OPKs after I had my first positive one not intentionally just didn't have time. I've had a really bad back so my sleep has affected some of the results, just wondered if anyone can make any sense of it please? Thanks xx

Sorry @Lucyasc . Glad you're feeling okay today. New cycle, new chance x

Ladylou17 · 10/08/2022 09:47

Ah sorry @Lucyasc I know how rubbish it is. Looks like your chart was pretty accurate though which is good for this next cycle. It will happen for you soon I know it 😘 I’m good thank you x
