@Ganesh2022 it's all about self protection isn't it xx

calimc83 · 29/01/2022 22:24

@Ganesh2022 that's true u know..Google annoys me 🙈 some sights are like oh yeah it's such a reliable way of checking then others are like oh your cervix can change after you sneeze 😫🤷‍♀️...I need to step away from my bits...😬😆...x

calimc83 · 29/01/2022 22:22

@arianasky ahh thanks!! Everything crossed for us both..I need to step away from Google ( and my cervix 😆) x

Ganesh2022 · 29/01/2022 22:20

I also totally get the "bad feeling" part; I pride myself on my gut instincts...but I think in these cases it can get really muddled up with anxiety and also with protecting ourselves by assuming the worst as to not be (even more) disappointed. FWIW I was so sure I was out in two pregnancies, and literally tested just to be done with it and move on with the day. xx

Ganesh2022 · 29/01/2022 22:14

@aesgriff honestly I'm not sure; I take the Viridian brand and just take what it says on the back, although someone else told me that was quite a lot. It's worked for me so I don't mess with it...!

@calimc83 I'll admit I have no clue how to check cervix...is that a reliable method of knowing? I feel like if it were a sure thing, people wouldn't need to buy tests! You may very well be out, but you also may not be (I know, thank you captain obvious...but...). It's all just really hard. I wish I could fast-forward to having a baby in my arms, not sure I have the mettle for all the ups and downs and uncertainties :( I certainly get having a good cry.

arianasky · 29/01/2022 22:10

@calimc83 oh I know lovely it so hard, but remember your only 4/5dpo your not out I have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🙏🏻🌈

aesgriff · 29/01/2022 22:00

@Ganesh2022 just keeping all 🤞🏻 I fall into a regular cycle too. Thought I may as well give it a bash as we’re on the waiting list for the fertility clinic. I’m taking 4g a day is that about right?

@calimc83 kudos to you I’m not sure I’d know what my cervix felt like!

Xx

calimc83 · 29/01/2022 22:00

@Ganesh2022 @arianasky I just have that bad feeling...according to Dr Google it's not looking good. Might have to take myself away and have a good cry 😭 for a few days. God this is soooo hard..x

arianasky · 29/01/2022 21:56

@calimc83 oh no I hope not 🤞🏻that's one thing I don't understand tbh the cervix testing don't really understand what I'm looking for?

Ganesh2022 · 29/01/2022 21:41

@calimc83 I hope you're wrong!

Ganesh2022 · 29/01/2022 21:39

@aesgriff...so probably a few months to have noticed a pattern, I'm thinking. But for the first time I understood what people meant by "I'm due my period." I never understood how other people knew when it was coming as mine did what it wanted.Confused

calimc83 · 29/01/2022 21:38

I'm convinced I'm out. Just had a delve about..and my cervix is pretty low and hard already..ffs 🥺 x

Ganesh2022 · 29/01/2022 21:35

@aesgriff Honestly I don't remember as I've been using it for a while now, but I remember one day (within the first few months for sure, just not sure if like...1 month or closer to 4-5) I was like, huh, I'm now a person with regular periods...for the first time in YEARS.

Skl2021 · 29/01/2022 21:10

@aesgriff yes I think it's the same one then! Must be good it's been recommended twice now 🤞 x

Xx

Skl2021 · 29/01/2022 20:37

@Skl2021 have you read pregnancy after loss? My friend had it and found it really helpful for managing anxiety xx

Skl2021 · 29/01/2022 20:32
