@Ganesh2022 yep, she was all good and the baby she felt really guilty as she'd drunk throughout and taken birth control until 8 months 😂 but she wasn't to know I guess

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 15:38

@arianasky Was she ok after?! As amazing as it would be, it must also be hugely traumatic...a foot shape!

arianasky · 01/02/2022 15:37

@Skl2021 hopefully they're just cramps from the pregnancy 🙏🏻.

@calimc83 OPK's are not an indicator anyway I don't think as lh surges before AF aswell apparently?

@Ganesh2022 how crazy she didn't know, a close friend of mine didn't find out until 8 months, also had a period every month, no symptoms whatsoever and didn't gain wait or a bump, she was lying in bed one night and felt a kick looked down happened again and saw the foot shape! That's how she found out! It's crazy isn't it how all bodies are so different

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 15:33

@Tofu35 I think in these threads nothing is TMI...:P

@Skl2021 Hopefully just everything stretching out...also I wonder if b/c we've been pregnant before not so long ago, things will feel...just MORE so...you know? Like the whole area will be much more sensitive/crampy etc?

@calimc83 hats off for your willpower/only using the OPK....!! I wish on me!

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 15:28

Skl2021 I always wondered how people could just not know/didn't think it was a real thing but...she had periods throughout, didn't gain that much weight...such a shock, she was still processing it months later (as you would!)

Tofu35 · 01/02/2022 15:23

Third time writing this message without going into tmi territory about the state of my poo 😂 but hopefully a bug, so all aches and pains will be put in that category and not "2 days away from AF".

Skl2021 · 01/02/2022 15:14

@calimc83 all of the above 🤣🙈 this is a new level of stress I have hit! X

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 15:09

@Skl2021 yeah just faint. Could be a bug...or stress? X

Skl2021 · 01/02/2022 15:04

@calimc83 yes it's uncomfortable 🤦 don't know if it's a tummy bug but it's feels periody if that's a thing 🙈 was there a line? Xx

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 14:57

Speaking of POAS...the urge hit me again! So I used an OPK 😂😂 x

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 14:57

@Ganesh2022 well if you have loads of cheapies I guess you could? But I probably wouldn't bother xx

Skl2021 · 01/02/2022 14:53

@Ganesh2022 yes skip all the worrying and straight to baby! If only! Must have been such a shock tho! You hear stories like that and just think how did they not know! Good luck with your testing! Sounds like your getting close! X

@calimc83 glad you feeling better 💕 we all need a good cry from time to time think I'm due one 🤦 x

@calimc83 ah ok thx, so no reason to test three times a day other than that need to pee on a stick...!

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 14:47

@Ganesh2022 when I say very quickly - for example I was negative on the Sat, Sunday was nearly positive and Monday positive x

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 14:38

Thanks! Testing three times a day here I come....!

JuniperAndTonic · 01/02/2022 14:24

@Ganesh2022 mine always change suddenly! They go from nothing to peak in about 24 hours usually!

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 14:18

@Ganesh2022 mine seem to change quite suddenly. From nothing to very obvious x

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 13:52

Ha, good comeback. I also wonder if sometimes people blurt stuff out b/c stuff is going on for them/they are dreading a pregnancy announcement and want to get it over with/get it out of someone. Still, not ok. Similar to asking why someone isn't drinking...it could be any number of reasons, none of which the person owes anyone an explanation for!.

Those who use cheapie opks...do they go up slowly or suddenly? I've forgotten and it's stressing me.

JuniperAndTonic · 01/02/2022 13:18

Oh I know exactly what you mean about people saying the wrong thing! Just a couple of days ago someone at work asked me when I’m due! I think she’d head rumours about me trying to get pregnant (my workplace is like a rumour mill!) and just assumed I was. I told her “I’m not, I had a miscarriage in November so if it looks like I’m pregnant it’s because I’ve been comfort eating” I don’t think she knew what to say after that and I just changed the subject!!

Tofu35 · 01/02/2022 13:06

@bridgey8 I hope that person has this as a life lesson. 10 years later, she'll give someone a row for joking about pregnancy because of their conversation with you.

I used to give my husband a row for gossiping (just to me) about whether friends we know we're pregnant, because until they tell us, we don't know what's going on. Now it's happened to us, he understands what I mean!

calimc83 · 01/02/2022 13:05

I'm ok now, thanks everyone. It really does just hit you at times..x

Ganesh2022 · 01/02/2022 13:00

@Bridgey8 ugh :( It's been a real lesson to me to keep my mouth shut with stuff like that; even stuff that seems harmless can really hurt someone
