Hello!

Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

No temp rise today infact I had the opposite a massive temp drop so confused Confused Sad

I’ve decided there’s nothing I can do but wait though so trying to not worry as much today and keep taking temps, wait to test/for AF and if unsuccessful this cycle I’ll book an appointment with gp fo check things over.

Atleast if nothing else tracking temps has let me know early something may be off but also not giving up hope for this cycle just yet 🤞✨

Last BD for this cycle done lol although sorry for the TMI a lot of the swimmers seemed to come out straight away this time so hoping some stayed up in the there haha

Time for bed and hopefully wake up to a temp rise 🤞

@Pops100 we inseminate 3 times over fertile window. I get the sense I probably "dtd" (not having sex but you know what I mean) less than most people on this thread but will hopefully do the trick!

16 in one go?! Good on OH @Pops100! Because sperm can live up to 5 days, we DTD a couple of times in the run up to ov and now we’re TTC, we’ve done it the day of peak and day of expected ov (the next day). It’s been a mix though of morning and night time

Also when does everyone BD once peaked ovulation? I get the days before probs won't matter that much but we always seem to do it so late / early hours of next day as we are pretty bad with going to bed now we're both off work. Do you think it makes a difference? I will try and do it at a more normal time of the day this time round too.

@RMS0209 me too! 🤣 so oh had his last lot of swimmers frozen today I forgot so not sure how that method would work now?

Not due to ovulate till Sunday so might give it a few days for him to recharge as the fertility clinic called and said they normally need guys to go back 3/4 times as they fill 20 straws but he managed enough for them to fill 16 straws in one go they were impressed 🤣🤣 so might let him re charge and then go at it like 🐇 .

@5manc hope you're doing okay 🤍 I just checked the last time we had dtd was on CD 6, so going to try that method , it's crazy how many people say when to dtd isn't it. I've also heard of that other one SEMP or something (pretty sure that was wrong but along those lines 🤣) ? & the fact people say don't have bd too much as well it's so overwhelming.

I know I’ve been in meltdown mode this week lol but I am interested to see what happens with my temps because sorry tmi but I get barely any cm before ovulation but then I get loads after. Today I’ve had to use a panty liner because its so much but now I’m thinking do I actually ovulate later than I realise and this time where I get loads of cm perhaps is before/during ovulation and not after as I thought 🤔

I will find out in the next couple of days I guess!x

Ooh, good question about the food recommendations @RMS0209 - there's loads of good suggestions! Maybe if I start making adjustments this early on in this crazy journey I may develop some good habits haha :)

Glad you got that extra shag in @Newbiemg! My OPKs stay pretty high the day after peak so that could be the same for you last night? This morning looks more like it. Like the others have said, trust your body. Ovulation can be 36 hours after peak so you were well within the window. Welcome to the TWW. 1 dpo here…

@Emmah120595 hello! I ovulated yesterday too and am also getting married in April! Snap! Im currently on cycle 2 of TTC number 1.

@Mays12 ooh the end is in sight! Cheapies may show a positive at 12dpo but think a FRER would be more reliable (she says, refusing to buy any FRER and using cheapies from 8dpo 😂).

Ooh @SMD16 I’m feeling hopeful for you! Oh my gosh, a sober hen do…you’re brave!

I love your positive mindset @5manc. I have also heard your extra fertile after loss, so hopefully you’ll get another BFP (and a super sticky one) very soon. The purple method sounds interesting. And like it requires a lot of energy 😂

Share some of that cucumber energy @lakejupiter! Oh my, maybe it is an implantation dip! Does fertility friend let you compare graphs with other people?

@SMD16 I quite enjoyed just having tonic waters so I'd definitely recommend that if you are trying to hide it haha!

Could be @Newbiemg - I had a dip last month too but nothing this extreme. Not getting excited though - determined to be a cucumber this month!
