Hello! Continuation of our last thread… All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey. Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨ January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month! With giggles and lots of support along the way. Welcome!

@lakejupiter currently 11dpo. If my cycle is its usual length of 28 days I'll have a 12 day luteal phase. It's my first cycle using OPKs and being clear when I ovulated. Time will tell... but time is moving so slowly and you're right uncertainty is a killer! Pinging back and forth between letting myself believe I could be pregnant to berating myself for being so foolish and it's definitely just an evap line, I probably didn't test correctly etc. Fun!

Hope it all works out for you timing wise! Have you got a strategy in place for staying sane? I'm finding I need constant distractions

I totally missed your maybe BFP yesterday @Bluets - how many DPO are you? Hope it develops into a clear BFP - the uncertainty is a killer!! Def do another first response when you can...

Second insemination done! On CD14 and have more medium rare OPKs and flashing smiley today. I also have a bit of EWCM so might ovulate a bit earlier than last month but who knows. My coparent has to travel back to his city this afternoon for work so I'm basically on call to go there and try again as soon as I get my peak. Hoping I manage to stay sane for the next couple of weeks 😂

Relaxing and patience seem to be antithetical to the whole TTC business! I'm sending the vibes through the ether!

Those are some good predicted ovulation days, Saint Valentine approved 😄 and I swear all of our phones are going to have much more storage space once we're not taking multiple pictures of sticks and can get rid of an app or two 🤣

@Bluets oh no! That’s a shame but atleast if AF is due tomorrow you should get a clear answer. Everything crossed for you 🤞✨

I’m doing ok thanks just waiting for that peak opk now. Last cycle I drove myself a little mad because I ovulated later than usual so I need to try and be more relaxed this time and patient

I have 3 apps lol and 2 of them say I’m ovulating on Valentine’s Day which is CD15 and the other one is saying the 13th CD14 so we will see…

My OPKs from last cycle also very similar to yours, nice to be in good company!

Had a total fail this morning with my CV Digi, was hoping for confirmation either way after a faint pink line on my FRER yesterday, but unfortunately it was a dud test and displayed the error image. Didn't realise until after I'd got rid of the beaker of FMU (aka liquid gold). So now I wait until tomorrow! Period due tomorrow so in all honesty it's probably better. Got a nice busy day to distract me.

How are you doing @Newbiemg?

@Newbiemg mine never go super dark either, I get one or two the same darkness as the control line and that’s it. Here are mine so far - started testing a bit early I think.

@RMS0209 I don’t think mine ever get lighter than that unless my urine is very diluted but then I don’t get a very strong positive. They sort of stay like that and then the two lines will be equal for peak but I haven’t ever seen the test line get darker than the control.

I use Femometer strips so I’m not sure if the type of strips makes a difference. I might try different ones if I need to do another cycle x

@RMS0209 I just had a flashing CB. I’m bored today so I’ve done another one this afternoon. This morning was blank and just now flashing. I usually start my flashing faces CD5/6 so normal. The endless days of flashing faces begins lol

@lakejupiter all good here thanks, flashy clear blues and actually have lines I can see on the cheapie.. so hopefully not too long 😃 you seem chilled (not that you weren't last month!) I think I got myself stressed for no reason so I'm taking a more chilled approach (hopefully) this month. Lots of luck for us I hope.
Must be so much easier and better to do it at home too, go you! X

And seem to be getting better at PreSeed - I was def using wayyyyy too much last month. We are still getting the hang of the syringes but I think I got most of it where it needed to go, and got much more efficient with the FertiLilly. I feel much more relaxed this month and less weirded out by the entire process. No peak yet - it's a little early tbh as I'm on CD13 of a 30ish day cycle - but have flashing smiley and what I like to describe as "Medium rare" OPKs, and a super high cervix, so I think we are officially in the fertile zone. We will go again tomorrow and then will hopefully get a third go in on peak day or O day.

When I start OPKs I hope they’re positive straight away. Even though I’m only CD6 and know it will be negative I always secretly hope it’s positive…does anyone else do that lol

I get a little pain/twinge like that sometimes @SMD16 I think certain positions can make it feel worse. Also sometimes I can have like a sort of dull ache afterwards if ovulation is quite strong x

sometimes I have a little pain on the right when I'm near ovulation when BD! you got that I'm guessing? Just this month or? X

Thanks both @Newbiemg & @RMS0209! This may be TMI but... when near ovulation and doing the BD do you find it painful near where your ovaries are?
